Seducing Mr. Remington had me from page one. The mile high club scene was so hot. I laughed, I cried a little, I squealed a little, This book had me yelling at it because it was so good. Sebastian and Emily has so much chemistry that it could have set the book on fire. I love how this story has twists and turns and kept me guessing on certain outcomes.

Sebastian Remington is used to the best of the best. He and his remaining billionaire friends all come from money. However, they are billionaires in their own right. Now, one friend who is no longer with them didn’t come from money and did, in fact, make his own billions before his demise. You see he had met a woman and when he did Bastian had a bad feeling about her. He told the other guys and although, they weren’t jumping up and down about her, they said, “Allow him to choose who he loves.”
So he backed off. The next thing they all knew she was rushing him into marriage. Bastian was the only one to speak up costing him the best man status. The wedding went off without a hitch, but he never returned from the honeymoon, and this woman came back with the best Emmy-worthy performance of a widow. They try to get everyone to investigate it. Finally, the coroner announced they found a pin prick behind his ear. But, the DA wouldn’t pick up the case.
This turned all the guys sore to dating and marriage but more so, Sebastian. Every woman to him has a motive to be out to get them. Not all the guys feel as strongly as he does. Not all women are like their friends, ex. Their friend was an easy mark, unfortunately. But Sebastian, he is a high-maintenance man. He likes everything just so. Like his PA dared to not only get pregnant but also decide to want to be a stay-at-home mom once she has the baby.
Especially, since he demands so much of her time. The new PA did not cut it. It was his last day, and he was in London to be catching his personal jet, but gets a call saying it's grounded. The parts are going to take days to come in. The PA knew he had meetings set up and wanted time to get acclimated to NY time, so he booked him a first-class ticket on the red-eye. That was the biggest shock to his system, HIM flying commercial.
What a concept, but he knew he had to because his new PA was starting on Monday, and he needed Sunday at least to just relax. There will be no work done of course on the plane, so that will put him behind. But nothing he can do about it. He gets there and gets seated. The PA should have gotten all the seats next to him booked. But just as he thought it was the whirlwind of a girl, he said girl because she had to be ten years younger than him.
Anyway, she comes smiling a sunshiny big smile, with bags bouncing alongside her telling everyone how excited she is that they bumped her up to 1st class. And she is so excited about her new life in America. Her new job in America is her lucky charm. She starts talking to everyone around her. She ends up taking the seat next to him. But he doesn't make eye contact or take his earbuds out. However, there comes a time when alcohol comes into play, and well these two become more than chummy.
They don’t quite become part of the Mile High Club, but as close as you could get. You see Sebastian is a big tall-fit man and Emily Harper is a full-figured girl. So logistics is what makes it impossible for them not to be a part of that club. He even inputs his number into her phone. In his head, he is making plans for their next non-date. Then, Monday arrives, and he’s to meet with his new PA. When the PA arrives at the office the head of HR, is there to make introductions.
However, the look on both their faces is one of utter shock. Em knew at that moment she would have to go back home in shame. Her father would never let her live this down. By the next day, Sebastian does a three-sixty. Read and find out why.

I have been waiting for this new series ever since she announced it after the last Montgomery story. It’s been a long time coming, and let me tell you, it was worth it. I loved this book! It has spice, heat, and drama that doesn’t really need to be talked about in this review because I saw this coming, and off the charts chemistry between Sebastian and Emily. From the beginning, even though Sebastian was afraid of falling in love he wants to give him and Emily a chance to explore their connection. From the moment he meets her on the plane to finding out she’s going to be working for him. I can sense his control faltering even though it took a little bit of time until he gives into her even if it’s under a tough situation he was put in and it wasn’t ideal with the way he sprung it on Emily. It was unconventional in the way he did that but I liked how he didn’t make it formal like I’ve read in other books where the hero sits the heroine down, they have a discussion and then a contract is produced. I liked how Sebastian just ran with it and made it casual even though Emily wasn’t prepared like the heroines normally are in a fake engagement trope. He didn’t involve payment, just a guarantee of payment of rent for Emily but that was it. There was no big contract or rules that needed to be brought up or made. For someone who is nervous about women taking his money, he didn’t force a contract or prenup before starting the farce with Emily. I took this as a win, because it showed that he didn’t believe Emily to be that type of woman and there was a sense of trust in the charade. This was a big step for Sebastian based on how he feels about relationships. From the beginning he felt she was different and the way he went about the fake engagement showed it. He even lets his desire get the better of him and his need for her. There was one night he was all over her when she came home from work and he had to have her that he just plunged inside without a condom and took Emily’s word that she was on birth control. To me, after learning how Sebastian felt about love and relationships, this was another win for me that further showed he believed Emily was different. The way he approaches things with her in the entirety of the book showed that he was developing feelings for her and that sense of trust that was always present in their time together. I just wish he told her the story about Jack and what happened with his wife. I’m surprised this didn’t even get a conversation with her, just a tidbit for the reader to know about and gain an understanding about why Sebastian and his friends are the way they are. Overall, while the book had the passion, intensity and was dripping with sexual tension and an undeniable attraction, it also manages to bring his friends together to at least be more open to dating and love after witnessing how Emily and Sebastian’s story happened. I got that vibe from Colt and even Mason even though he doesn’t know it yet. I also love how Mason and Lexi will be the next couple and it’s directly related to Emily because that’s her best friend. It’s nice to get back to having the best friend get a happily ever after too when a new series is introduced. Finally, shout out to Juliette for giving a nod to the Dufort’s and Josh from Black Hawk Security, I love that for this series. I can’t wait for Mason and Lexi, November can’t come soon enough but at the same time, I don’t want to rush this year more quickly than it already has been.

My pet peeve are wrong time lines especially when it is easy to look up. Here right in the first chapter Sebastian has to take the red eye to New York. I looked it up, the last flight leaves London around 8pm and arrives in New York at 11pm. In the book Sebastian and Emily arrive in the early morning. Did the plane take a detour? Later Emily calls her friend in London, during the first call when she just got in from clubbing friday night, let's say 11pm it would be 4am in London, her friend is still in a pub, the second time Emily comes home from work, 6pm maybe, and her friend in London is preparing dinner at 10pm. All times are possible but not likely.
The plot is nothing new, poor girl meets billionaire on an airplane, they join the mile-high-club, and next day she discovers he is her direct boss. One week later the author adds the fake-fiancée trope, there also is the defrauding CFO and four best friends, one of them falls for the girl's best friend. Nothing surprising happens, the book ends at 81% of my kindle, now there are samples from the sequels and the author's other books.
The book is easy to read, the MCs fit a stereotype and have no characteristic that sets them apart or makes the book memorable.

Ms. Banks ALWAYS delivers! Mr. Remington 'has' to fly commercial on a Saturday night because his plane is down for repairs and his seatmate is a messy, sexy, upgraded Brit who is going to America for the first time. They chat and drink and end up in the Mile High Club in First Class. She is sure she will never see him again but Sebastian is already wanting to see her so when his limo drops her off at her new apartment he makes note. On Monday morning imagine his surprise when his new PA is none other than Emily, the girl from the plane. Is she a plant? Why is she HERE? He knows he can't keep her but he needs the help so he let's her stay six weeks. Add to the pix that her domineering father thinks she can't hold a job and is sure she'll be back in London in a month and she is determined to prove him wrong. A lot of fun. Great characters, wonderful banter.

Sebastian and Emily are electric. He’s serious and broody while she is cheeky and so much fun. Opposites attract right? Well these two do and hit the floor running. What happens when you randomly get upgraded to first class, join the mile high club with the gorgeous stranger next to you and then oops later find out he’s your new boss? How do you work for someone you have crazy chemistry with and then get roped into being his fake fiancé and not fall in love? It would never work… well maybe it will. A crazy comedy of errors while serious business is on the line. this book was scorching and funny and I just could not put it down.

A thrilling romance laced with spice and humour that kept me entertained till late in the night. Emily got herself a new job in Manhattan. Flying from London, she's upgraded to first class in a seat next to Sebastian who's private jet was out of action. A couple of glasses of champagne and they end up joining the High Mile Club. Unfortunately he's her new boss and she's his new PA unbeknownst to them. There's the traitor in the company, a fake engagement to fool a sheikh, great side characters and plenty of hot sizzling interludes before they get their HEA. Oh I'm going to enjoy this new series.

FUN! This story was FUN! It held my attention hostage from the starting gate to the finale. Four powerful billionaire business friends who, even with immense power, are vulnerable and easy prey to gold diggers. Four powerful friends how vow never to marry. This is 34 y/o Sebastian Remington’s story. Excellent execution of filling in character backstories without slowing the plot. Hilarious and original dialogue. Strong, likable characters one immediately gravitates to. This story is first and foremost a romantic drama with lots of steam. It’s also inner office subterfuge, corporate sabotage and conspiracy.

Ok—this book is really, really spicy, but there is actually a plot, which I appreciated. Emily bravely goes from the UK to the US mainly because her annoying father was pressuring her about her job hopping but she ends up meeting her new boss on the plane and….well…things happened without either knowing who the other was. It made for an interesting first day on the job. Sebastián has been hurt by his friend’s death & has a poor attitude of relationships but is intrigued by Emily. Sebastian ends up needing Emily to make a business deal and things get very crazy very fast. I really enjoyed the story as well as Emily & Sebastian!

Even Better than I Expected!
Reading the blurb, I immediately knew I wanted to read this book. It came off as fun and quirky, and that’s the exact mood I was looking for.
What I didn’t expect was to fall in love with the way Emily and Sebastian burned hot, all while navigating everything that was working against them, including Sebastian’s own past fears (which are very valid IMO).
There were definitely some ups and downs for them, but I loved every part of this book. If you love a spicy office romance, you’ll adore this!

Emily and Sebastian steam up the pages right from the start with a fun encounter on a plane. The banter and wit between the characters along with the steam and burn of their attraction to each other make this a must read, cant put down book. . We are introduced to a whole new cast of characters to fall in love with. Juliette continues to amaze me with her stories and how she brings the characters to life. Can’t wait to see where this series goes!

Holy hot chemistry!! This new series is not one to miss. Hunky rich boss meets the woman who makes him rethink everything he stands for. Throw in some chance encounters, crazy ideas and a string of things that keep going wrong and you will be on the edge of your seat hoping it all finally goes right!

A LITTLE GEM
After reading several suspense books this book was a romantic treat. Great characters great dialogue and banter. This book was well paced with linkable characters and sexy toe curling moments. A few minor grammar errors but they did not take away from this sweet and sexy romp that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Oh my GOD!!! It shouldn’t surprise me that I loved “Seducing Mr Remington”. Love the sexy banter between Sebastian and Emily. I don’t think there is a book of Juliette N Banks that I haven’t loved!! Totally loving this new series!! Can’t wait for Lexi and Mason’s book.

Drama, Humor and Sizzling scenes, what not to love? Sebastian and Emily are smokin hot in this new Obsidian series. Their connection is instant even though Bastian tried to deny it and as the story progresses, it gets even more chaotic. At the end of this story, I’m left blushing and happy 🥰

Sebastian meets Emily on a plane, joins the mile high club and then we find out he’s her boss. I loved the spice. The story was really rushed and seemed like it needed more detail and fullness but it was still a good read for a spicy book.
