I did everything I could to run away from my past, but my past came for me anyway.

To the world, I'm sarcastic, sassy Sorcha. I hide my terror of my past with a constant smile. But I can't make myself step foot off our estate. I haven't left the grounds since I was kidnapped at twelve.

But here I am, standing on a stage with vile, anonymous men bidding on me. I could never escape my past after all.

While I never come to auctions like these, I can do business anywhere, even amongst the lowest of the low in our world. But once the deal is done and I'm ready to leave, I spot a head of flaming red hair and fierce blue eyes that could only belong to a MacTavish. There's a dozen men in this audience who will pay anything to take revenge on the MacTavish Clan.

Unfortunately for sweet little Sorcha, I'm one of them.

Auctioned - A Dark Scottish Mafia Romance is Book Four in the MacTavish Stolen Brides Series. It can be read as a standalone with no cheating and an HEA. If you love morally grey men, you're going to love Alastair! This is a dark romance for 18+ only.

What can I say? Arianna Fraser is an auto buy for me and I have never been disappointed! "Auctioned" is the fourth book in The MacTavish Stolen Brides series. This is the story of Sorcha, the youngest of the MacTavish siblings, and Alastair Taylor, the swoon worthy English counterpart to her mafia brothers. Okay, I do review with some SPOILERS ahead. Sorcha is kidnapped off her family's Scottish estate, a place she hasn't left in seven years, after the trauma of a previous abduction when she was 12 years old. She is to be trafficked by an enemy of her family. Fortunately for her, Alastair is also at the warehouse where she and other young women are being held and auctioned to the highest bidders. No, our morally grey hero is NOT a sex trafficker; he's there for a meeting with a man he does "business" with. When he recognizes Sorcha, he bids an outrageous amount of money to get her, not for ethical reasons, but to hold her captive in order to pi** off her father and brothers, whom he despises. Little did Alastair know, he and his mafia organization is now being targeted by the head of the Triad, who is not about to give up on getting Sorcha after Alastair outbid him for her. Despite the unusual start of their relationship and the mayhem all around them, including those brawny MacTavish brothers who are on the warpath to rescue their sister, Sorcha and Alastair develop a sincere appreciation and love of one another. Despite thinking he has no heart, Alastair takes great care of Sorcha when she has nightmares about her earlier abduction, and he helps her to see that she's not broken, as she believes. He coaxes the truth out of Sorcha and finally understands what she endured while shielding her young cousins. Sorcha is protective of Alistair too, taking care of him when he is injured and being constantly worried about his safety, and that of his men. I also liked Alastair's relationship with his Second, Callum, and his best friend, Alec (who has quite a story of his own to tell). Of course, with the eventual reappearance of the MacTavish brothers, you get to experience even more of Ms. Fraser's trademark humor in her stories, which is like no other!
Although this story is a standalone, I would suggest you read the entire series in order to really appreciate the relationships of the MacTavish men, their amazing women, and all the great secondary characters. The MacTavish series will conclude with Alec's story in Captivated...coming soon!

I did everything I could to run away from my past, but my past came for me anyway.

Sorcha:
To the world, I'm sarcastic, sassy Sorcha. I hide my terror of my past with a constant smile. But I can't make myself step foot off our estate. I haven't left the grounds since I was kidnapped at twelve.

But here I am, standing on a stage with vile, anonymous men bidding on me. I could never escape my past after all.

Alastair:
While I never come to auctions like these, I can do business anywhere, even amongst the lowest of the low in our world. But once the deal is done and I'm ready to leave, I spot her: a head of flaming red hair and fierce blue eyes that could only belong to a MacTavish. There's a dozen men in this audience who will pay anything to take revenge on the MacTavish Clan.

Unfortunately for sweet little Sorcha, I'm one of them.

“Auctioned” is a Dark Scottish Mafia Romance” and is the fourth installment in “The MacTavish Stolen Brides Series.” A thoroughly enjoyable read and just as good as the first three books in the series.Sorcha, is the youngest of the MacTavish siblings and the only girl. Her brothers, Cameron, Dougal and Lachlan, are all very protective of her. When she was twelve, she was taken by human traffickers and now seven years latter, it happens again.

Sorcha finds herself dressed in skimpy clothing, in a cage, attached to a meat hook and suspended in the air! “You are a MacTavish,” I whisper, “You are a dragon, you’re powerful. You will survive and we will kill them all.” “The auctioneer’s false joviality is coming back. “Going once. Going twice. Sold to Mr. Taylor for a record one hundred million pounds.”

From one cell to another …. will she survive this for a second time? Her new “owner” is cold, calculating and ruthless, but there is something else, maybe a softer side? As time goes on, Alistair begins to have feelings towards Sasha and wants to protect her, he decides to marry her. He will protect his wife at all costs and their marriage now unites the MacTavish and the Taylor Clans. They are both fighting the same enemy, except now as one.

The story is very fast paced and full of twists and turns! You have danger, betrayal, love, tears, death, power, action and passion. The heat between Alistair and Scorcha is off the page 🥵🥵 There is never a dull moment! This book is everything you expect from a dark mafia romance!

As per Arianna’s previous three books in the series, she has excelled again. A thoroughly enjoyable read from one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. You will fall in love with Alistair and Scorcha, hoping that everything with work out for them and if they have a future together. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed😊

Part of The Mactavish Stolen Brides series each can be read as a standalone hang on and you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified possessive, oh so gorgeous, brooding all three makings of a story consisting with the three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, darkness, secrets revealed, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love somewhere along the way! Sorcha is sweet when need to be the youngest of the clan a handful feisty, strong, has no problem with pushing back when pushed, she has been kidnapped twice now to be auctioned to men who have history with her family wanting revenge so bidding on her well that would be a sweet deal and the auctioneer is counting on it bring in a good amount of money but she wants is peace away from her family and all the trauma she has dealt with. Alastair sexy as all get out cold personality because he has to have one, he thinks things through before doing them, isn’t a man you want on your radar, ruthless, dangerous on a good day, deadly every day, so going to the auction with the purpose of leaving with the winning bid to get back at her family and one million dollars later she belongs to him. The starting isn’t ideal, but can they make something out a really bad situation, will he see past her family’s crimes enough to not take it out on her, will she see past the coldness he presents to the world, will she find the peace, the protection, and maybe love with a little happiness?

I LOVE this series!!
Auctioned did NOT disappoint! And now I’m excited for the final book in this series by Arianna ♥️

Poor Sorcha canNOT catch a dang break!
After having been kidnapped as a child, here we are, all these later in a repeat situation 🤦🏻‍♀️

Luckily for her, her buyer has different plans for her 👏🏼👏🏼 and I was SO excited to be on this journey with them!

Alastair is a cold, calculated, & ruthless head of a mafia family, so when he see’s his chance at exacting revenge on the MacTavish family, he takes it!

Ugghhh 😍
• the spice was 🔥 fire
• the banter was hilarious 😂
• the morally grey were 🥵
• the action 💣 🔪 was enthralling

Love you Arianna!! Thank you for such and amazing series 🙌🏼

WOW just awesome

This is the 4th book in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. This is Sorcha’s story. She, her aunt and little cousins were kidnapped by the Chinese Triad when she was 12, she was tortured. This has left her with severe PSTD, she doesn’t leave the family compound. Unfortunately she is kidnapped again and is going to be auctioned off. The H sees her at the auction, he is there doing business and decides to bid on her. The plot was very well written and the characters are nicely developed. The H is arrogant, cold and ruthless but he slowly changes for the H. There’s kidnapping, betrayal and murder and I loved it. Great epilogue.

A childhood tragedy is repeated years later. Her PTSD has caused isolation, withdrawel, pain, doubt, and more. When history repeats itself, her life will take a new turn and Sorcha and Alastair will have a chance at love and new beginnings.

I liked this... eventually. He was just so mean to her at the beginning, and she really didn't deserve it. Neither did the MacTavishes - I get why Alec hated them, but Alastair's motives didn't ring true.

This is the fourth in the MacTavish stolen brides series, and in this one, rather than a MacTavish stealing a bride, it’s a MacTavish that is stolen. Sorcha, the little sister who has not left the estate in seven years., not since she was first stolen by sex traffickers, is stolen again, and auctioned off. Luckily for her, although she doesn’t realize that it’s lucky, Alistair Taylor happens to be there. Realizing who she is, and that she represents a chance to get revenge on her family, he buys her. From this inauspicious beginning the book proceeds through various adventures, including explosions and yet another kidnapping, to the inevitable HEA.

This book is age gap with vengeance; Alistair is 35 and Sorcha is 19. Alistair is arrogant, sexy and very rich, and runs a large and successful criminal organization. Sorcha Is inexperienced, prone to nightmares since her first kidnapping, but a true MacTavish, feisty, and proud. Together they make an unstoppable team.

The book was a lot of fun, And I’m looking forward to number five.

I love Arianna Fraser books. They are the perfect balance of everything and I often find myself going back to re read them.
Auctioned is about Sorcha, the youngest of the Mactavish clan. I always enjoy the female characters in Arianna's books. They are feisty and are not pushovers but they also do not draw out being hard to win over by the MMC to annoying levels.
In this story, Sorcha is kidnapped a second time for the red trade, the buyers rounded up for this auction all having a bad history with the Mactavish family thus ensuring a high fetching price.
Without giving anything away I will just say that there are lots of twists right until the end which keeps you glued to the story and as is always the case with Arianna's books - the humour keeps it light, even while touching on the darkest parts of humanity.
A definite recommendation and I am looking forward to Alec's story next.

Sorcha hide the trauma of her past behind a facades, all wlshebwanted was to live in peace away from the crime riddled world of her family, but when she's on the auction stage, she catches the eye of Alastair, who will make sure his the winning bid to get back at her families clan. Well written the story has depth and the characters draw you in with suspense, desires drama and more! A great addition to the series.

Another great book by Arianna Fraser.
Who doesn’t love a good auction!!! I love this trope always gives me chill on how the MMC is going to rescue the MFC… and nothing says true love than 100m 🤣🤣
I am also glad the whole dominant part of Alastair was tampered … Sorcha was kidnapped twice the poor girl doesn’t need an overbearing dom!!
As always it’s full of action, steam, twist and turn!
Can’t wait for Alec (broken/tortured hero)

Sorcha MacTavish was kidnapped and sold to human traffickers when she was twelve and she never got over it. She hasn’t left the MacTavish property since she was rescued and has been living half a life.

Years later, she is drugged and kidnapped off the property by one of the family’s bodyguards during her morning jog and sends the family into a tizzy again. She wakes up in a meat-packing house to the raucous sounds of men in heat ready to purchase her pound of flesh. Once she is recognized for who she is, the bidding is fierce (the MacTavishes have lots of enemies!).

Alastair Taylor is the man who wins the bidding and walks away with the prize, taking Sorcha home for a purchase price of a hundred million dollars. Alastair has no love for the MacTavishes, in fact hates them as much as all the other men at the meat-packing house, but he draws the line at hurting innocents – women or children. He has, in effect, rescued Sorcha from a much more horrible fate than being held hostage at his penthouse.

Sorcha doesn’t see it that way. She just sees another billionaire, and despicable man dealing with people who sell humans for money and tries her best to escape.

Alastair uses all sorts of POW tactics to break Sorcha but really winds up breaking himself when he falls for the young woman after witnessing her scars and her strength under pressure. When the triad attempt to kidnap her during a rare outing, Alastair marries Sorcha to protect her.

This is another well-written and solid entry in The MacTavish Stolen Brides Series. Alastair and Sorcha are a combustible pair who exchange lots of hot banter in this enemies to lovers story and I enjoyed watching them spar and fall in love.

I recommend this book for fans of spicy dark Mafia romance and stories full of betrayal, intrigue and explosive fast-paced action.

Abducted at the age of 12 and rescued by her brothers, Sorcha maintains a happy persona while never leaving the grounds of her family estate. Fear keeps her locked away securely in the sanctity of her home surrounded by the protection of her family.
That security is broken like the snapped links of a chain when, for the second time Sorcha is abducted from her family estate, only this time she isn't a young child.....no, now she is a full grown beautiful young woman with flaming red hair and pale skin. Any man would pay a substantial amount for her. The fact that she is a MacTavish only sweetens the deal... and their enemies know this.

A meeting with an evasive Mayor just happens to be in the same place where Sorcha is displayed as the prize of the day at a private auction. With hardly any effort at all the feisty red head captures the attention of Alistaire, one of the many enemies of the MacTavish clan. Looking around at the predators waiting for a chance to enact their revenge on the MacTavish's, Allistaire is fully aware of the fate that awaits Sorcha. Perhaps bidding on her AND winning wasn't such a good idea as he finds that leaving the auction with his "prize"is proving more difficult than expected.

God I loved this book so much. As usual you can expect, action, plot, spice and banter and in this case, 4 enraged hot as hell Scotts.

Highly recommend reading the entire series starting with Relentless. Absolutely amazing story and exceptional writing skills.

You are for me by MeemsAngel82

I loved this!!! I have been waiting for her story and it's finally here!! This is book number four of the MacTavish Stolen Brides Series and yes it can be read as a standalone. It's another book in this dangerous and heated world and I loved them all so I am more than happy to keep up with this exciting family. Each book is unique and I never know how their story will go and this was no exception. I loved that her story was just as special as I had hoped. These two... What chemistry! From the moment he sees her I felt the pull between them!

For someone with a past trauma, being taken now isn't a helping her one bit. Then he sees her, someone who hates her brothers and decides to keep her. He'll realize soon that he can never let her go.

Oh this poor thing. Despite her past bad memories she is a strong girl. She is a MacTavish after all! I had hoped this would be extra considering the is the sister of the bunch and I am so pleased that it was! This was so exciting and steamy as captor wants more than anything to keep his prize. He was surely lying to himself about why he wanted to keep her because it's so obvious why he does! The beautiful relationship unfolds and neither know the answers to the many questions in their relationship. But they cannot deny their attraction. This was such a hot and romantic read and I absolutely love these two and how their love unfolded!

A magnificently written story which is full of suspense, action, intrigue, and steamy spicy romance with a happily ever after ending.
The fourth story in this series that is about a Scottish mafia family. This story is about the Scottish mafia princess who’s the sister to the Scottish mafia men in the other stories.
This story deals with the Scottish mafia princess and what happens to her after being bought by a rival mafia boss as well as the two falling for one another while trying to fight to survive being killed by the Scottish mafia princess’s family’s foes.
The two mafia families come together as well as another mafia family to take out the foes once and for all. After the foes are dealt with another problem arises but is soon taken care of. With a big surprise no one could have thought of.
Even though the Scottish mafia princess and the rival mafia boss are already together they are brought together again by the Scottish family’s priest. The Scottish mafia princess while waiting to be married is attacked. Afterward there is merriment and the other rival mafia boss is there for a moment.
The couple leaves to be alone and to come together during their wedding night. The couple is happy and in love with one another.

When she was 12 years old Sorcha MacTavish was stolen, then brutalized as she bravely took on the agony of torture meant for her two younger cousins. After being rescued, she never left her family home again until she was betrayed by one of the family guards and once more held in captivity, caged, and offered for sale at an auction.

Alastair Taylor attended a meeting at an auction. Upon realizing the MacTavish daughter is being sold he wins her with a one hundred million pounds bid. Then the battle between Alastair and Sorcha takes off. He has a longstanding grudge against the MacTavish Scottish Clan and demands blood to settle the score. She has a deeply rooted fear of being captured and going through torture again. But she learned over the years to stand firm and now her first instinct is to sass and fight back. Alastair deems that marrying Sorcha is the only way to protect her from those who lost the bid and are still trying to get to her.

This is a fabulous read with danger, excitement, steamy scenes and romance all woven together. I highly recommend it.

I ADORE Arianna Fraser's books.

They are the perfect balance of everything I love to read in a book. And I often find myself rereading them throughout the year.

Auctioned is about Sorcha, the youngest of the MacTavish clan.

Sorcha was already kidnapped when she was a youngster, and in this story, Sorcha is kidnapped a second time for the Mafia Red Trade.

I always enjoy the female characters in Arianna's books. They are feisty and are not pushovers, which Sorcha could have been, what with being a twice kidnappee.

Most of the bidders attending this auction all have a bad history with the MacTavish family thus begins an intense bidding war.

I don't want to spoil anything, but there are lots of twists right until the end which keeps you glued to the story.

The humour keeps it light, even while touching on the darkest parts of humanity.

Thanks for sharing this great series with us 😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕😘😘😘😘

Alastair and Sorcha. Shes the sister of the MacTavish Clan that was kidnapped at twelve years old and is traumatized. Shes taken again from her property by someone she knows and given to the auction. He abhors the auctions and is there only to speak to someone that is ignoring him. Its then he sees her. Shes there to be bought by someone who wants revenge against the MacTavish men. Which is everyone there. Including him so he buys her. Shes still struggling with her trauma and continues to have horrible night terrors. Even though he wants revenge hes beginning to want her more. This was a great read. Its intriguing. Its entertaining. Has danger, drama, mafia rivals and passion. Loving this series so much.

Poor Sorcha MacTavish was stolen once as a child by human traffickers intent on destroying her family's mafia. She was rescued by her strapping brother Cormac MacTavish, but he's not around to save her the second time they come for her, and 19-year-old Sorcha finds herself auctioned to the highest bidder. I don't want to give away the details of the auction, but it's definitely visceral and spooky.

Enter Alastair Taylor, Mafia King and kind of a dick, until Sorcha wears him down, just like we knew she would. There's great sex, details of healing from trauma, more great sex, plenty of villains to hiss at, and heroes to cheer for. This is an excellent addition to the MacTavish Stolen Brides Series!

First, a big thanks to the author, Arianna Fraser, the publisher, and Goodreads for the privilege of being able to win a digital copy of Auctioned (The MacTavish Stolen Brides #4) in a giveaway. I will publish my review to Amazon as well. This spicy mafia romance with auction/forced proximity tropes was definitely different from what I normally read, but I was entertained. I liked the main character, Sorcha, more than I thought I would in the beginning. I haven't read any of the others in the series before this one, so I was experiencing the characters for the first time and had to piece together some of the past, but I think I got most of it. I liked the MMC but not my absolute favorite... I'm interested to see what else the author has written! Thanks again.

I almost DNF this book since she is 19 and he is 35, big age gap with her still being a teen. In order to read it I made her 25 so that it didn't feel so gross. Alastair is a bit all over the place when he first buys/rescues her from the auction. He's thoughtful when Sorcha is having PTSD nightmares from her first kidnapping but then gets Dom/controlling when they are eating together. I liked him later in the book when he was more caring and less controlling of everything, while still being a strong, self assured man. There are a lot of spicy scenes, no miscommunications between characters, but there is obvious tension with her brothers, Alastair, and Alec. Overall a good spicy book.

Allister and Sorcha take you along on their exciting journey in this thrilling story. He is at a warehouse to do business but when he sees a redhead up on the auction block, he knows exactly who she is and out bids everyone to have her to get back at her family. In spite of all the drama going on around them they manage to get close and as they come to terms danger lingers. Will they get their chance for happiness.

Sorcha Shines

I was really excited to see how Sorcha's book would be laid out and the storyline fits.

Sadly, Sorcha is kidnapped again but her brothers don't get to save her this time. Not until she has been bought, married, used for revenge, saved, rescued and fallen in love.

I am glad for the translation of idioms again.

I did miss the first for everything with Sorcha, although there wasn't any writing about her for him; I would have liked it just because she was so sheltered.

The twists were great and Alec's book next will be an interesting read.

AUCTIONED, book 4 of the MacTavish Stolen Brides series by Arianna Fraser

Troupe: kidnapped victim falling for her clan’s enemy. Human trafficking auction, amazing characters, Sorcha: an emotional, tortured but strong survivor with PTSD, Alastair: a chilly businessman and mafia king, revenge, romance, evil Triads, betrayal, marriage, angry brothers, gunfire, explosions, a nail-gripping plot, unexpected conclusion—Arianna Fraser adds just enough twists and turns to make AUCTIONED another fascinating dark romance.
