Ballers 3: His Game
Cameron
For as long as I can remember I’ve looked out for those I love. Especially those who can’t look out for themselves.
Everything I do is for my brother. The goal is to get Caleb to the majors and help him find his normal. I’m the buffer, I'm the shield, I’m the leader of his team. I wouldn’t want it to be anyone else.
However, not everyone is as selfless when it comes to our goal. Everything is changing and I desperately want that change to spill over into my life.
Then hope shows up. One look in her eyes and I know she’s going to be the change I need.
Kayleen
All my life my mama and Cam’s have been telling us that someday the two of us will get married. They even pushed me to steal him from his girlfriend in junior high to start our relationship.
Cam is all I’ve known since I was fourteen. Now I’m feeling left behind as he and Caleb start college. I didn’t get into college with them. Now I’m making bad decision after bad decision and I’m confused about what I want.
I love Cam but I don’t know if that’s enough.
Maribel
I’m running from a mistake. I fell into something I never wanted. Now I’m going to do my best to fix it in the next four years.
Dating or hookup are the last things on my mind. However, when I run into him everything changes. He becomes my best friend and person. I don’t tell anyone else my secret, but when I tell him, he becomes my shoulder to lean on.
Then everything changes as he becomes single. Things happen and I have to run for my life. The only man I have ever loved has a wife, but he’s still my hero and protector.
Nothing is what you think. You have to know our story. Only then can you understand.
Will hearts be broken? Who will be the bad guy? How do we end up with killers for friends? Will any of us find our happily ever after or will we all crash and burn?

A Masterpiece of Emotional Depth and Sizzling Chemistry
When I say this book was worth the wait, I mean it! Blue Saffire’s third installment of the 𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕣𝕤 series had me glued to every chapter and every sentence. This book is a masterpiece of emotional depth, sizzling chemistry, and jaw-dropping twists. It had me laughing, crying, and holding my breath from start to finish.
Cameron Perry is a leading character who oozes charisma. His complexity and growth throughout the story kept me hooked. The way Blue Saffire carefully lays out the story is like watching an intricate quilt being sewn. Every thread ties perfectly, and every detail has its purpose. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the dynamics between the characters, the high stakes, and the emotional rollercoaster they navigate. By the last page, I was practically begging for more.
If you’re a fan of romance with a side of drama and sports, you’ll adore this book. It’s heartfelt, exciting, and utterly addictive.
Blue Saffire proves once again why the 𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕣𝕤 series is a must-read. Don’t walk, run to grab this book!
I have waited years for this book, and I am so disappointed... this was not at all what I was expecting. I can't believe that not only did Cam forgive Kaylee, stayed her friend but gave her all that money too... so unbelievable
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’ve waited years to finally get Cam’s story. This book was a total let down for me due to the plot lacking substance and the chapters being repetitive. I felt no connection between Cam and Amina. If you read Where the Pieces Fall, I recommend you read this book to get closure if you’ve been interested in Cam’s story.
I cared nothing for Kayleen or JR. It didn't make me sympathize with her. In fact I couldn't stand her even more. She was a whiny spoilt cheating little bitch who should of just been honest and left Cam years ago. JR got on my damn nerves as well. You were so quick to hop into someone's else pussy knowing Kay and Cam was together and didn't give two shits at all. I was hoping Dez would of at least capped him in the knees trifling mf. I was so looking forward to this story to be so sadly disappointed
OH WOW I don't even know where to begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this awesome story! Okay the first thing is that I definitely enjoyed Cam and Amina as a couple. There is so much excitement and action with sizzling hot passion with these two. Plus I get to revisit some awesome characters that I really enjoyed and wanted to read more about them. The time spent with their children is delightful. Another thing I enjoyed besides the couple's hot chemistry is their life is full of action with lots of drama which will have you on the edge of your seat, The suspense will fuel your curiosity. Then there's all of the characters which are so captivating and the family is so amazing and their relationship is magnificent. The storyline is great with it's sports vibe and when you add in their family drama, along with their emotions their love and the intriguing twists they go through you have a tale that's a awesome and pleasurable experience." There is some violence that just makes you keep turning pages. I couldn't help but to have a sleepless night because there was no way I putting down my reader until it was over. I could tell you about all the things I really enjoyed but then I would write a book. But WOW even with the end it's still a awesome romance which l greatly enjoyed and I'm excited about the continuing of the series.
This much anticipated third installment in the Ballers series keeps you in it's emotional clutches. It picks up after Where The Pieces Fall. This story gives you all the illustrious visual sequences from the beginning to end. Charismatic characters, a storyline that has many intricacies and combustible steam that jumps off your Kindle. Cameron and Maribel meet in college, and become friends and form a connection. We see Cameron's transformation playing out in words as if you are watching a movie. There are secrets, manipulative family members, hilarious moments, and times and situations that make you want to throw hands. Morsels and tidbits of Blue's clues that are Intricately woven in this spellbinding story. I love how we see Cameron's & Maribel's humor and how in tuned they are to each other. Cameron and Maribel are in a set of circumstances that has them apart. Cameron plays a song he once told her would he would only play when he was speaking from his heart. The passage invoked a visual emotional imagery. This book takes you on a journey, from Symphony's Rubik's Cube, Tasha and Val's meeting, to Dez's comeuppance, Sammy's insights and all in between. Intrigue, sports romance, friends and family dynamics...so much more. This book did not disappoint. I am ready for more. Grab your copy and savor the journey. Enjoy the magnificent ride.
are both in situations where things are expected of them.
Good execution for Cams story. Cameron and Amina’s relationship started off as a friendship seeing as they both had complicated lives and went to college for different reasons but ended up meeting each other. Their relationship was drawn out form the start because at 18, why do you need to force yourself to be in a relationship is beyond me. Yes you can have fun but you don’t need to have life figure out.
Cam just had a lot on his plate poor thing and Aminas stubbornness backfired on her. I think Cals book was much better because even though he had a condition he loved hard.
You felt the chemistry between the two lovers throughout. However, I think the book was rushed at the end despite it being long because their mother was a nuisance and then at the end everyone was okay. I would’ve liked to know how they worked through that obstacle. Also there being three povs wasn’t ideal because Kay annoyed my soul. I know others sympathised with her due to her upbringing but as she got older she should’ve developed that frontal lobe a bit.
Blue can tell a story and weaving players, places and other characters we know and love together so well. If this is your first introduction to Blue Saffire then you will be confused with so much in this story.. I like the sexy, erotic and steamy moments in the books but do get turned off when every 20 pages or so is just a repeat of the erotica.. However, although this book had so very hot moments it was not the focus here .it was just a pleasure to read because it had a story and took you into the lives and minds of the main characters and understand how they got to where they ended and all that happened on between. Caleb's book Where The Pieces Fall, begins the story of the Perry brother's and introduction to the others like Maribel and the other of His Team. Enjoyed seeing all the background from Caleb's story come to the front with Cameron's story. Definitely roller coaster if emotions.
Overall I enjoyed most of the book although; she could have left out Kaylee and RJ or maybe written it so that they were written out within the first couple of chapters. Reading about promising black athletes sending money for years and being with an only high school educated two timing white woman who doesn’t do anything but have sex with two men isn’t something I’d willingly choose to read. It maybe because it hits to close to real life that our black athletes make a fool, spend all their money and will want to wife a POS white woman but not a quality black woman. And for a black female author to even try to make her appear sympathetic (spoiler alert she isn’t) was disheartening.
Without that storyline, I was very pleased with the book. I have almost every book Blue has written and they all have rereading value to me. I just hate that storyline so I probably won’t reread this one as often.
I have loved every series Blue Saffire has written and when she wrote Caleb and Nicole's story I just knew that she would rush to write Cam's but she didn't and the wait was truly worth it.
I knew Cam had depth because he had Caleb's back along with Dakota. Kay was truly a mess but I'm glad that her secret came out so that they she could be truly loved.
When Sim showed up on the scene I knew that all hell was going to break loose. And it also gave depth to her character from the past along with being able to see who Mr. Kyle was and his connections.
LaSalle's son, Sammy, I just knew that he was going to be good for the family. He took to Uri and Michael like a moth to a flame and his mother had blessed him with visions.
This book has a lot of turns but they were well worth it.
I appreciate that Cam always kept his good heart like all the men in the series and no matter what he found his way back to his wife and family!!!
IT WAS EXCELLENT! As is any work by Blue Saffire, in my humble opinion. If you thought Cameron was a super hero when first introduced to him in Where The Pieces Fall, in his book he becomes a SUPER Super Hero. Again, in my opinion. I never really liked Kay, always saw her as an opportunist and turns out she was. I was happy when the break came about and he met the true love of his life. Maribel really needed someone in her corner and Cam became that person. I adored their friendship and then their relationship. Turns out it's a small world huh? Her cousin sent her to stay with Sym to be kept safe. LOVED IT and they became friends for life! Also loved the cameos of other characters. As previously stated excellent work!
Kay leaves alot to be desired about her. And Mrs Perry is all about making little mini me's of her self to entrap her sons into the lives she envisages for them. Very selfish ladies. I loved Cameron's character years ago when he first appeared in 'Where the pieces fall' in Caleb's book. But this book here has me crying for him and Amina. When is he going to catch a break? He keeps giving of himself to everyone who needs him, and keeps nothing for himself. This is a great read and continuation of the Perry brother's world.
I have been waiting for Cameron's story, and it did not disappoint. There are so many twists and turns.. so much intrigue. I was so afraid for Mina and Cam a couple of times, but it all worked out perfectly!! I never hated Kay like I thought I would and was very happy she found her happily ever after. I can't wait to hear more about Symphony and Sam... two characters with very interesting backgrounds, to say the least!!
Blue is back!!! I went back to re-read Caleb's story so that I could remember all of the characters. Blue delivered. I love this story. It was full of loyalty, deception, romance and action. I was up practically all night reading. This book reminded me of the Locatellis, the Blacks and Quinn. Please no more super natural or shifter types of books. I was starving for this type of story.
Just what I hoped for as a follow-up to Where The Pieces Fall. Love, Love, Love Maribel, and Cameron. Thank you, Blue, for gettthem back in front of us. So great to also be able to let us see Uri again. I'd forgotten about Symphony and was so pleased to be reintroduced to her; and finally, my boy Sammy is developing beautifully! What a great read to see that time-frame through Cam and Kayleen's POV.
I have read all the Ballers books and purchased each one. This one is my best out of the series. Cameron really love Amina once he finally decided it was truly love. His mom got on my last nerve. Interesting to read his character didn’t get his hands dirty the Hush way. Hope the next book will be about Syn story.
I need to go back and read Trevor, Legally Bound and Hush again from my kindle library been a while.
Great read. I enjoy reading all Blue Saffire’s books she never disappoints . The interweaving of characters from other books are amazing. I do recommend you read her work in order it really helps even if you don’t remember what book person was in 😆. You will know who they are. I love Cam and Amina beautiful couple. Their friendship to lovers was well written. I couldn’t put the book down. Can’t wait for what comes next.
Honestly I have not read a book from Blue Saffire and didn’t enjoy it .
This story with was so captivating . I read this book in a day . It was incredible . The journey these characters went on were amazing . I love the way all of these books intertwine .
I have read legally bound series ,brother blacks . Hush and ballers .. if anyone knows any books I may have missed that intertwine with this group tell me so I can purchase ASAP!!
This story was sooo worth the wait. Cam is such a great person and I love the way he loves and protects his twin Caleb. I didn't really care for Kay and hated she got a happy ending with her cheating self, but for some reason JR loved her and was willing to share. I love Amina. She is really Cam's true love. That mama of his tho had a serious problem and it's sad it took her about ten years to stay out of her sons marriages. I know this is the beginning of more greatness to come and I'm here for it. 💌💌
Could not put this exceptional story down. Loved Cam and Mina’s story. Adding our favorite characters from the series was the cherry on top. If we don’t get a story of Sim and her spouse, I’m going to expire. Sammy, my heart, love him. Keep up the good work Mrs Safire, I truly appreciate you, God bless you darlin.
Well worth the wait Blue Saffire has done it again Cam has lived up to everything I thought he would be and more It was good to see the side characters and the development of all of them and how every story interlaces Is phenomenal, especially Sammy Love that Cam and Maribel got their hea, oh and the spice is 5 alarm
Cam always put his brother Caleb's needs and well-being before his own. Must read Where The Pieces Fall, Caleb's story first. Ballers 3 is the twins story from Cam's viewpoint. To really appreciate the additional characters you should read the other books in Blue Saffire's Legally Bound Universe.
It's been a long time coming. I think the first one ran the entirety of my emotions. Because when I started this one I remembered everything. So it was on time it allowed me to finish This is an excellent series and story now I'm going back and reading the others Excellent Ms. Blue Excellent. But tell the newbies to read Caleb's story.
I truly enjoyed this series. I could not wait to read Cameron's story, and it was well worth the wait. It was full of drama and romance and kept you wanting more. The chemistry between Cameron and Mina was smoking hot and intense. This was a great book, and I highly recommend it to my fellow romance readers that you will not be disappointed.
Right here was totally amazing...at first I thought it was something i had already but, mz.Blue gave us alot of background/backstory from the previous books interwoven with the present which made perfect sense to this sequel and previous characters... I love it can't wait for the next book...bring it mz.Blue... I'm waiting
This book was definitely worth the wait. Cameron and Maribel were the cuties couple and I loved their humor. Great story following the Twins career. Loved the way Cameron looked out for Caleb. The drama with Kay and the twins mother, well I was ready to let Maribel loose on them. 😂 Great job Blue.
I think I've read almost all of Blue's books except maybe some novellas, but two things I can ALWAYS on are character development and an emotional pull! Ma'am you always give me something to think about/reflect about in your stories. I sincerely thank you for sharing your gift with the world, no matter how long I have to wait.
I’ve waited for 50 yearrssss for this book and I wasn’t disappointed! I was wondering how we were going to tie my favorite Mobsters into the book and oh how I enjoyed seeing URI and Val. I will be revisiting this read. It was like an old school, slow burning, baby lets cruise, love story!
Ty for another great read, I devoured it and still looking for more? I am so glad Cam got his happy ending, looking forward to getting caught up with the Alliance and all the other fam, lol yes they are fam! U never disappoint!!
Oh my gosh, the tale of love that Blue has written is beautiful and breathtaking. From the beginning of Cameron and Maribel's journey, you understand that everything is not as it seems. It's so raw and real, but it's so worth it. Happy reading!
