In the electrifying conclusion to the D.C. Fall trilogy, the fragmented post-EMP world finds its survivors holding on to the threads of love, loyalty, and family against overwhelming odds.
At Mount Weather, Congresswoman Madeline Ryan races to expose a deadly conspiracy at the highest levels of government. But who can she trust? In Foggy Bottom, Tessa struggles to safeguard her newfound family as D.C. crumbles around them. And at the Harman-Weber farms, the community unites, preparing for a life-or-death showdown against a new threat led by Viv’s vengeful husband, who is determined to destroy everything they’ve fought to preserve.
Meanwhile, a mission in Baltimore Harbor spirals out of control, leaving Julian grappling with devastating consequences that will echo across the lives of everyone he holds dear. As the shadows of chaos deepen, alliances are tested, secrets unravel, and sacrifices are made.
As darkness closes in, can the bonds of love and family stand strong against a world determined to tear them apart?
D.C. Fall 3 is a heart-pounding, emotional journey that explores what it means to fight for hope, for truth, and for the people who matter most—when all else has fallen away.
This continues a good series. There were some editing errors-fortification instead of fortitude, her instead of here and Capital Hill instead of Capitol Hill. Parts of the story meanders a bit, but I found myself liking most of the protagonists. I hope there is a book 4 because the interesting mystery of the conspiracy seems very much unresolved. I also hope Madeline told the President and Greg what Hale told her about a Justice and cabinet member and find out who suggested she go on the helicopter.
As usual the fall world is engrossing! Love the characters and all the plot twists. Can not wait for the next book to answer the conspiracy question. What happens to the farm? Will everyone make it to some kind of safety?
