This was really good…

An out of the blue romance you won’t see coming!
I was caught up in Alice’s daredevil attitude with her social media influencer friends filming her latest escapade. When swarms of police and a helicopter converge on the building, it surprises the group as their stunts usually only draw one police car. Alice helps her friends make their escape, as she is captured by the officers and handcuffed. In stead of being taking to jail where she would have made her call to her attorney to bail her out, she is brought before the Judge. The Judge has it in for Alice, and her outcome sets the stage for the rest of the story. Jake’s time at The Embassy is usually for relaxing, until the Judge gets him to enter the Toybox competition with his friend’s out of control sister. To say that Alice and Jake hit it off is a misnomer of epic proportions, and Alice’s daredevil attitude wins out over Jake’s control. Yet Jake is a no-holds-barred kind of guy and Alice gives up only to save her friends from his tyranny so-to-say. When Jake lays it on the line for Alice that they need to win the competition or she’ll face a worse fate, she agrees to it in theory. Yet when push comes to shove, Alice is her own worse enemy stemming from her experience where she was the only survivor when her family’s plane crashed. Alice is crushed that Jake didn’t fight for her before they were separated, but she is determined to fight for her freedom especially after discovering the truth to her family’s death. I loved how Jake risks it all to save Alice and the other women in the competition from the Judge, but will he be able to win? You have to read to find out!

Alice Wentworth needs help. With her passed due to an accident that left her the sole survivor, she is on a path to destruction. Jake is given the task of taming Alice. At the Embassy, they have a game of sorts. Be the winner of the “Toybox” and keep the prize and $100k. But Alice isn’t going to make it easy. And if Jake doesn’t tame her, she is in for a worse fate. I have to say, Alice is daring. She definitely gives a stuntperson a run for the money. She is falling off buildings, jumping through windows, and not caring about if she lives or dies. Jake has never seen such a display. He has his work cut out for him with Alice. I get that the loss of her parents made her see life as why her. But she has to realize that she is lucky and Jake is going to stop her bratting. Make her realize that life is important when you have someone that cares. But there is some underhanded things going on in the Embassy. I have to say, I wasn’t too sure if Jake could be trusted. But he was doing what as best for Alice. I do love Alice’s friends. They are all as crazy as she is. This one was fun not over the top. And I have to say, yes social media and all those blogger sites are the norm. That isn’t going to go away.

This story has a very different spin on the spoiled little rich girl/dominant daddy savior trope. Alice is the spoiled little rich girl, but with a seeming death wish related to the trauma of her parents tragic death. Jake is the dominant, also rich, man who is coerced into turning her life around by a seemingly benevolent Judge who is trying to keep her out of jail. However, nothing is as it appears to be and the story takes some significant twists as Alice and Jake’s relationship takes some very unexpected and oft times surprising turns. Alice will not submit to Jake’s domination and some wild and wacky escape attempts are made that leave Jake absolutely astounded. There are a lot of characters in this story, some rather off beat and amusing (Alice’s friends and accomplices), some very respectable looking but quite sinister (Jake’s peers). A rollicking good, fun, story with a very dark side. As their relationship progresses and evolves their respective goals begin to merge, but again not all is as it appears. Of course there is lots of dom/sub discipline and very graphic and erotic sex, but it’s the plot that really makes this such an enthralling and enjoyable read. 5 Stars.

A sexy, captivating read by author Loki Renard simply impossible to put down once started
Another simply stunning read by author Loki Renard, I have to say from the moment I started reading I was captivated by this story that was simply wonderful reading.
Alice Wentworth had not been a sitting partner that readily accepted that she now belonged to him, the twenty one year old heiress was so much more older than her years and he had thought that he would be able to easily rail her in but he had been wrong.
Alice had fought hi with every ounce of determination she had and he had punished her fairly harshly and still she had not given up; she had continued to resist and even when he had taken her into his chamber and forced her to submit to him, she continued to resist.
This is a very busy read with plenty of action and there is a great deal of animosity between the two main characters and I guarantee that you will be captivated by this wonderful read.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

An exciting action filled 3.5 star read
Man did this story go deep! There was so much intrigue that, at times, I forgot o was reading a romance. The. The absolute decadence of näutiness just strolls onto page and 💥 we are in some SERIOUS HOT AF smüt. Wow, the level of heat in this book was off the hook!
I loved the premise of this book, how both main characters had a bit of bad luck sticking to them and they weren’t perfect book characters. That added an element of excitement for sure.
The story twisted and turned and surprisingly took us on a journey. It wasn’t just surface level, it really got us into the story and our characters heads. Super awesome.
All in all, a good book to escape into and I reality enjoyed it! Loki Rena’s has done it again.

Not a bad read
The story line is great. The way Allis acts out is definitely a cry for help. But when she finds herself in a room of hotel and she can't escape! then walks in Jack. Telling her he is going to tame her. In my opinion his idea of taming her has a lot to be desired. He really needs to up his dominance. Allies is a spoiled brat that really needs a heavy had to straight in her rebellious ass down. Their Relationships moves pretty quickly. I'm not really impressed with this one. But that is my opinion. Its not boring or anything like that, I just can't stand Allis Jack should have trained her better and she would have learned her place.

Absolutely HILARIOUS 😁
This story starts with a very traumatized girl who throws herself from one insane situation to another, trying to get over what happened 😢. Then she meets a older man who tries to show her that there is someone who cares about her and it totally freaks her out causing her to jump threw a window 😵. Trust doesn't come easily to Alice, especially after she'd been taken and given to Jake to tame. He's determined to win, but he's also drawn to her and wants keep her safe. Their passion ignites confusing feelings in Alice. The game turns dangerous and makes them make decisions that will change their lives forever. Great characters and world building, lots of action and adventure. It's fast paced and entertaining.

Dark and Depraved
Alice is young, rich and wild and she’s gotten herself in trouble on too many times. She’s been transported to The Embassy and given to Jake to train. But she’s incredibly willful and slightly feral, plus there’s other games afoot. This story is a wild and taboo ride, so wild is has to be fiction, but with a grain of truth within. I liked that, while the setting was dark, Jake was a pretty good guy with an honourable streak. Alice, well, she’s something else entirely. A wild and crazy fantastic read.

I enjoy most of Loki Renard's books. They are always very well-written. However, I could not stand the FMC. Spoiled and entitled poor, little rich girl who is not a natural submissive and an adrenaline junkie. Personally, I don't like or identify with brat subs and it always astounds me that these hot dominant MMCs fall in love with an FMC with no redeeming qualities.
She gets herself into trouble the entire story and constantly plays the victim and blames the MMC for helping her and loving her despite her shitty personality.

Alicia is a poor, rich girl influencer who hangs out with some questionable influencer friends and makes really bad and dangerous decisions. Jake is a member of The Embassy and is convinced to participate in the ToyBox, a competition designed for dominates to bring women into submission. And Jake is given the headstrong Alicia. The characters are interesting, well-developed, full of sizzle, steam, action, twists, and more. This was a solid star read for me.

This is a story that is full of surprises that I was not expecting and not all of them were good. Danger seems to be present from the very beginning and remains throughout the story. I enjoyed Jake and Alice’s relationship and how it deepens as the story progresses. The story is well written and entertaining. It’s a story worth reading but may not be to everyones taste.

Kinky fun
It has been a bit since I last read a book by Loki Renard. So I was looking forward to diving into His Toy. I was not disappointed with this darker, erotic book. I will warn that this is not for everyone, and at times I was scratching my head wondering just how a woman can give herself over completely to someone else. But the kinky, passionate and hotness were in full force.

Alice’s latest stunt gets her arrested and instead of going to jail she ends up belonging to Jake. Will he teach his new toy how to properly behave and can they win the Toybox competition together? Fast paced read with plenty of drama and plenty of steam. I liked it.

This was a very good book. Jake and Alice's story was super-hot and kinky. I really liked Jake and found him quite swoon worthy. Honestly though, Alice wasn't my favorite character, and I really did not like her.

This was a fun, steamy stand alone story. Alice is a bit of a rebel and Jake knows exactly what he needs to do to make sure she stays out of trouble. This book has a unique storyline and great characters.

One of the best novels ever in this genre!!!
The characters are fully developed. The plot is richly developed. Even though Jake is totally dominant he reads her emotions accurately. And while she will never be a true sub, she still feels needy of being dominated!

Awww. That was a sweet love story. Jake is the loving dominant patient man that Alice never knew she needed, and Alice is the brat that brings Jake to life. Alice got the better part of the deal.
