An incredible resource for all caretakers of boys with ADHD

Wow! This book is a must-have for any parent of an ADHD child. While this book emphasizes boys, the information within is equally valuable for girls with ADHD, with some modifications. This book does a stellar job at breaking down the parental struggles that develop while parenting an ADHD child. The book constantly checks in with the reader, reinforcing previous topics and providing lists of actionable steps to take so as to not overwhelm. The author clearly has first hand life experiences in the topic and offers ideas that are well researched, with emphasis on the fact that all children and families are different and it's not a one size fits all situation. The author reminds and reassures the reader that we are enough and that we are not alone. She also reiterates the value of self care through this process. Wonderful resource!!!

Some decent strategies for parents that could work for all genders, not just boys. My one big issue is that the chapter on IEPs includes incorrect information.
