this genuinely felt like i was reading a Wattpad fanfic written by a twelve year old, and not in a good way.. this was just not good.

DNF @ 70%. I feel like I was the one catfished into reading this book. First, there are the inconsistencies with her eye color, her name, and Teddy’s age. Then there is the unprotected sex for both characters. But for Audrey to be a single mom and have unprotected sex during her one night stand is beyond stupid! Finally, Preston special ordering cologne from “Persia” is the final straw. There is no Persia anymore. It was a region and the center was modern day Iran. Oy.

Just another great book from the serie the San Francisco Billionaires written by Emery Rowan.
I loved it! I couldn't put it down!
It's about Preston and Audrey. Preston is a billionaire stuck in a pretend relationship with a beuatiful influencer. He wants to find the love of his life, just like his sister en brothers. But he doesn't know how. He loves to write, but no one knows. He's afraid for what the others think about it. So he is a ghost writer.
Audrey is a widow with a cute little son Teddy, without work. She lives on scraps and she wants to change her life. She finds a online course about publishing books for ghost writers. She loves reading and always wanted to write a book. So she has some ideas for stories and make a profile and tells what's she's looking for. A lot of applications are flowing in and one of them is Ava Maxwell, the alias of Preston. The interview online goes well and there's a instant connection. Preston sees Audrey but the camara 'isn't working' on Prestons side. In a bookstore in town he recognises her and they start to talk and they end up in a hotelroom. She doesn't know he is Ava and that he is a billionaire. She leaves early in the morning and writes him a note, but without a number. Preston likes her so much that he's glad he still can talk to her even if it's Ava who she talks to instead of Preston. It's getting more and more dificult for Preston to come clean and tell her the truth until it blows up. If you want to learn what's more to this story, just start reading it! You won't regret it!

Audrey is working hard at bringing up her son, Teddy on her own after her husband died. She hits on a career as an author to make some extra money whilst being at home. The ghost writer she contracts seems like a genuinely nice woman. Little does she know that her ghost writer is in fact a billionaire with a hidden passion for writing.

The more Preston gets to know Audrey the more he falls for her. However, having gone so far how does he reveal his true identity without losing her?

Audrey is an amazingly strong woman keeping positive and cheerful for her son. Whilst Preston is a sensitive, intuitive individual looking for a connection and someone to share a future with.

A witty and entertaining very different romance that will have you glued to your seat until the last page.
Audrey and Preston have a wonderful way of interacting with each other, their relationship grows quite quickly and Audrey loves the way Preston is with her son Teddy. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts and they are both falling for each other, however Preston has a secret, a big secret and he is afraid that when Audrey finds the truth she won’t forgive him.
I highly recommend this book.

This is part of the San Francisco Billionaires series, but can be read as a standalone. You'll love Audrey and Preston's story, and their chemistry is off the charts. Prepare to lose a little sleep because once you start reading you won't be able to put this book down. This book is full of secrets and the plot has a different twist from most romances. Throw in some ghost-writing, a secret identity. A military widow with a young son who is struggling and a rich billionaire. The romance is sweet with some angst and a great HEA that you'll love. I really really enjoyed this story from start to finish! Preston and Audrey are super likeable and have great chemistry together! I loved reading and following their story. Each of them have their own personal struggles and I really enjoyed learning about them individually and watching their chemistry and love grow as the story progressed. I knew just by the title that I would enjoy this story and I loved how Emery executed it. It makes me want to read the other books in this series!.

This book brought tears to my eyes when I read that Audrey lost her husband Theo in the military and she is raising their son Teddy by herself. I was really happy that she was finally able to find true love again with Preston. However, I was worried when he lied to her that she wouldn't forgive him. This book is a must read and the characters will keep you intrigued and turning the pages to see what happens next. This book is 5 stars for sure.

Hiding Behind a Lie . . .

Audrey is a widow who lost her military husband a year ago, raising her 3-year-old son Teddy on her own and struggling to pay the bills. Meeting Preston was the best thing to happen to her, especially as she sees how Preston interacts with her son. Their relationship is strong and continuing to grow. He is everything she could ever want and he feels the same about her. But Preston has a secret and that is never good for any relationship. Will he tell her, or will she find out and walk away from everything they were building together?

Emery does it once again!
Preston is a billionaire with a secret, he ghostwrites romance novels under another name.
Audrey is a widow raising her young son and trying to pay the bills.
They meet in a bookstore and hit it off but as time passes and they get closer. Preston knows he has to come clean and tell Audrey that he is her ghostwriter before it's too late.
This book is a great read and the ending is just as you would expect from Emery.

I’m not giving it any stars, cause it doesn’t deserve it.

I’m actually baffled by the piece of 💩that is this book. Do yourself a favor and don’t read it. I read it cause it downloaded by mistake, but save yourself and don’t make the same mistake I did.

The writing was bad. Many grammatical errors. Preston wasn’t even convincing and the main problem just made him look dumb. Teddy is a 3 year old that sometimes speaks like a kid and other times like an older kid.

This book is just BAD! And I’m pretty sure it actually is whatever comes AFTER WORSE!

I read this book on recommendation and I must say I'm glad I did. We meet Audrey who lost her husband while serving in the army and was left with her son Teddy. When she begins to fall in love with Preston again after a while, were Preston to lie to her, will she forgive him if she finds out? A beautiful storyline one that keeps you glued to your book. This is definitely recommended!

Preston's Secret Life

How long can a secret be hidden when a relationship is on the line? Preston is afraid that Audrey will no longer want anything to do with him once it has been uncovered. Hopefully their explosive chemistry and feelings for each other will be able to overcome that hurdle. These two were wonderful together and the story was fun.

I like all kinds of stories. It doesn’t have to be deep. But this one lacked emotion and depth. The three year old talked like he was seven. There was very little angst and the rich man swept the financially struggling woman off her feet. They were in bed after minutes of meeting. She took a course on publishing and right away got several offers, sure that’s realistic. Honestly I’ve seen better on Wattpad.

She’s a hard working single mom, looking after her son on after her husband died. She dabbles in a writing career and she contacts a ghost writer that seems like a genuinely nice woman. It turns out this ghost writer is in fact a billionaire man that falls for her. This is a very nice intriguing story, so I recommend.

I really enjoyed this book, I am getting into the brothers best friend story line. A one night stand with no consequences especially with her brothers best friend is unthinkable. And of course he moves in next door and neither one can forget about the “night”. But I am also glad that they got over the issues and come together. I received this book from an honest and unbiased opinion and I loved the whole story.

Catfished

So many secrets. Being a ghostwriter, using a ghostwriter and being a man pretending to be a woman to write romance novels. Catfish anyone? It’s a fun read.
