Another fabulous addition to the Kingpins of the Syndicate Series by Eva Winners. I love a strong heroine, and Emory definitely checks that box. The story is fast-paced, with some great twists and turns along the way. Killian is definitely obsessed from the get-go, it just takes a bit for him to get them where they're going, lol. The chemistry between them was fiery and led to fireworks in and out of the bedroom. Loved it!

PS. The teaser for the next-gen series nearly unalived me, lol.

I’m jumping straight into the review. I really enjoyed this one from Eva. I loved how strong Emery is in her relentless hunt to find someone who was so cruelly taken from her. I actually liked that certain details were kept a secret for a reason.

Killian falls hard and fast from the night they meet and searches for her until the trail goes cold. Now, years later, it’s like he’s seeing a ghost—but he still loves her and is utterly obsessed. He’s also a very dominant and delicious man in the bedroom.

The audiobook is brilliant as well, so be sure to pick it up if you decide to read this one. I always enjoy Eva’s work!

My Review:
Eva does it again! Killian and Emory's story really takes you on an emotional journey. My heart absolutely broke for Emory and everything she endured under her father's control, but the way she rose up from the ashes to become a strong kingpin? Incredible 👑!

Both Killian and Emory are such strong characters, yet they allowed themselves to be vulnerable with each other when it mattered. Even though there are two MCs, I’ve gotta say, Emory completely stole the show. Her determination and strength to fight for what she wanted was truly amazing. 💖

As always, the writing was impeccable. Plot twists, angst, spice, and action—all on point.
And that glimpse of Matteo at the end?! I was screaming!! 🙆🏻‍♀️I cannot stress enough how much I need the next gen series ASAP!

Primer libro de Eva que no me gustó tanto, de hecho, creo que es el peor de todos lo que he leído y ya son más de 16 leídos.

Lo sentí totalmente mal hecho, aburrido, como si en esta última entrega de esta serie todo lo hizo por hacerlo para terminarlo rápido (aunque Emory cero que ver con las 4 amigas, solo es parte de la familia política).

Le doy la misma puntuación que en el anterior porque es corto y, de hecho, si esta historia pasara de 400 páginas, lo lamentaría, pero sería una sola estrella a darle con todo el dolor en mi corazón. A mí Eva me gusta mucho como autora, pero cuando las cosas no siento que estén bien hechas, pues tengo que decirlo sinceramente y actuar en consecuencia.

¿Por dónde empezar?
Tiene tramas recicladas de otras parejas (esto es una ensalada de cosas de uno que otro libro anterior y otras series), unos protagonistas que se estancan en los: te amo, nos acostamos, tenemos sexo fenomenal estamos casados, eres mía/o; pero de allí no avanza.

Vulgarmente hablando, siento que esto es 'nopor' escrito con unos muy ligerísimos y tenues toques de trama y, sobre todo, exceso de DRAMA.

Emory tiene un pasado oscuro con un padre cruel y vengativo que le quitó lo que más quería; en el camino esta chica antes de llegar a los 20 años tuvo que aprender a ser fuerte, tanto así que es un Capo del Sindicato en las sombras ya que vive en un mundo donde las mujeres no pueden gobernar.

Pero ajá, la mujercita a la primera o segunda situación se me deja mangonear por un irlandés porque es guapo y sienten química en lugar de recurrir a sus presuntos y supuestos despiadados hermano/primos (Basilio, Dante y Priest) que harían lo que sea por ella, empezando por ayudarla a buscar a su hija. PROSIGO.

Killian era el que sentía más potencial de los dos, con una infancia tormentosa ya que a los 6 años vio como sus padres fueron quemados vivos mientras él se tuvo que esconder con su hermana de meses en brazos en un túnel; pero de nuevo, todo se diluye entre celos, posesividad, sexo, chantajes... Los capítulos pasan y pasan, y esta gente no es sincera entre ellos (empezando por ella).

Y así se va más de medio libro en escenas de sexo fenomenal una y otra vez (estas escenas son recicladas, por cierto), solo se pone interesante al final que, y ya que estamos... que fascinante e intrigante es el personaje de Danil Popov, espero y aspiro que salga algún libro de él en el futuro.

Por mi parte, he decir que me siento complacida de terminar esta serie (al fin una serie de Eva que termino completa, mejor no hablemos de Belles & Mobsters que tengo un eterno pendiente con Nico jaja).

No es un final con esta autora ya que en su momento leí libros muy buenos y tengo varios pendientes a ser leídos este año, pero lamentablemente este es el que menos de gustó de todos los que he tenido la oportunidad de conocer.

P.D: Ahora sí me pondré seria con el libro uno que tengo pendiente de esta serie, lo ha procrastinado mucho ya que me entretengo fácil jaja.

Audiobook Review

This is one of those books that will drop your jaw at the prologue and you won’t be able to put this down! I have been so excited for Emory’s story - she and Killian had wild chemistry. There are some great twists and turns and secrets that are revealed. I also love the banter and we also get some spicy scenes too.

The audio was on point!! Both of these characters are so strong and I loved the vulnerable moments between them - the two narrators did such a great job playing all the different sides to these characters.

Oh Killian, he looked for her for YEARS and is this great mix of unhinged, possessive and protective. Emory is a badass and takes zero sh*t from anyone…but she also has a heartbreaking secret.

I am completely all in with this series - while you can read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the other books too!

She’s now the female mafia head, hell bent on revenge and a secret mission of her own. There’s a marriage by coercion, loads of sex, heartbreak and apology, loads of angst and a hopeful ending.

I have read all the other series so you’ll meet many familiar characters in this book- and I like how all the books are interconnected.

This whole series has been so crazy and wonderful but eeeep! These two 🔥 Emory and Killian might just be my favorite Syndicate couple, I was so excited to get to their story and find out about their past.
Emory is a boss bitch and I love her so much! She is such a strong FMC. Killian is protective, possessive, everything I expected and more!

I can’t say much more without giving anything away, but Eva has created a dark, intriguing world that I can’t get enough of. I loved the pace and twists and turns in this one. I can’t wait for the next gen series!

🎧Narrated in duet by Troy Duran and Mackenzie Cartwright, the audiobook is not one to miss. Their voices are so good together, and made for these types of characters. Produced by East House Productions!

MS. EVA. WINNERS. NEVER. MISSES. Thank you so much for allowing me to read and review this early. I was so excited to dive into Emory and Killian's book. the crumbs that were left in the previous books had me frothing at the mouth.

This follows Killian Cullen and Emory DiLustro. These two families have always been at war until they were married with each other and they came into some sense of peace. Emory and Killian meet six years ago at the airport when Emory's flight back home gets cancelled. He takes her on a few dates before they have one night of passion thus leading Emory to leave before he wakes up and disappear from his life. He spends years looking for her only to turn up empty-handed. They then meet again for the first time when his cousin is kidnapped by her brother. No one knows that they have met before and they were going to keep it that way until Emory got into a bit of trouble and Killian was planning on his revenge on her and the only way for him to do that and get what he wanted was for him and Emory to get married, even by force if it was necessary.

I think every time that Eva does the plot twist I am left gaping at the wall for hours. like what. did. i. just. read. that is how I feel every time I get to the plot twist because I have no idea how I got there. the spice way AMAZING. the banter. the tension. the fact that Emory is a strong fmc and she is able to take what they throw at her. killian being obsessed with her FOR YEARS. ugh I love it so so so much. girl..... the last 25% I need to know what is coming next because that was really a plot twist I did not see coming.

Highlights:

it was his eyes that made it hard to look away, sending liquid fire through me. Despite a certain dullness in them, they managed to burn with a searing intensity, stoking a fire that threatened to combust at any moment.

I love everything that she writes, i say all the time that this author never misses.
Emory and Killian were so good together, i was so invested in their story that i couldn´t put the book down.
One of my favourite parts of this book is the way that they met, i can´t get over it.
In my opinion she is the mafia queen, everything that she writes is incredible good.

OMG. What a way to wrap-up the Kingpins series... with an effing BANG! 🎉

Killian and Emory’s story was all-consuming and absolutely well-worth the wait. Not only did they have me in complete suspense, but they had me in the feels from beginning to end. I love their pairing and there was no denying their chemistry was pure, highly-addictive crack!

80% spice.
20% plot.
100% unputdownable.

I suggest reading the Kingpins of the Syndicate series in publishing order. Although they can all be read as standalone books, they’re set in an interconnected world with an ongoing sub story that intertwines all the characters together. This book is not plot-heavy but if you’re up-to-date with the series, you’ll realise the world-building is extensive and with already existing developments, it withstands taking a backseat to Killian and Emory’s narrative.

This book is character-driven and focuses very much on Killian and Emory’s complex relationship. Their story is one of heartache and for the most part, had me in near tears. The storytelling is heartfelt, at times cruel and unfair, and will undoubtedly evoke a spectrum of emotions out of you. It’s a testament to Winners’ gripping writing talents. I was truly invested in these characters from the moment they appeared on page.

It had a good amount of dark mafia elements, with plenty of action, suspense, and unpredictability throughout that gave an overall edgy atmosphere, whilst the romance was indeed “ravenous”. (I’ll leave it at that). The title speaks for itself, really.

This book does contain dark themes that some readers may find disturbing or triggering to read such as kidnapping, human trafficking, organ trafficking, child abuse, torture, graphic violence, blood and gore. It’s not for the fainthearted and it’s intended for readers 18+ only.

Although it’s a relatively fast-paced story, it however doesn’t feel rushed through at all. I loved reading both POV. There’s a gripping little backstory between Killian and Emory, and their evolving relationship since doesn’t miss a beat despite time, distance, and certain circumstances playing a part.

Killian is protective, sweet, possessive, and slightly dirty-minded all rolled into one swoon-worthy MMC. Emory is softness and heart wrapped-up in steely determination and a fighting spirit. A ‘ride or die’ pairing I couldn’t get enough of.

This book may conclude with their HEA, but be aware it does still have plenty of unanswered questions, and teases readers of possible future stories.

If you’re new to Winners’ writing, take note that she’s created an intricate web with this mafia world where multiple book series are linked, characters crossovers seem infinite, and familial relations are as twisted as they come. It can be a little overwhelming at first, if you’re unfamiliar with (or in my case, forgotten) certain characters mentioned or make an appearance. Don’t let it deter you as this book is amazing, as is the rest of the books set in this world. It’s a must-try for fans of mafia romance looking for their next read.

Emory DiLustro had lost her heart when she shared one night with Killian Cullen years before in London, but she knew nothing could come of it. Her family would kill him if they ever found out about him, so she left without leaving her last name. It should’ve remained a secret she held close to her heart but there were consequences to their night together and her father found out brutally punishing her and Emory had been paying the price ever since. Killian meanwhile had searched the world for his mystery girl until he believed she was dead, only to find out later that the girl he had obsessed over was the Kingpin of Las Vegas.

I was caught up in Emory and Killian’s story from the opening chapters. As I’ve come to expect from this author the blend of romance and suspense was perfectly balanced, just as Killian and Emory were perfectly matched and considering you were mixing Irish and Italian heritages, their relationship was tempestuous and their chemistry explosive right from the start. Emory was such a badass albeit one with a vulnerable side, while Killian had his own ghosts after witnessing the brutal murder of his parents when he was a child but as Emory finds herself forced to marry Killian thwarting the plans she had laid, what will he do when he uncovers the secret she’s kept from him. In a gripping story centred around the trafficking of human organs, involving a United Nations of mafias, cartels, bratvas and mobs, the action goes from the streets of London and New York to the bright lights of Vegas and the steamy jungles of Venezuela. The plot itself was fast paced and full of secrets and lies, action and drama, drawing in some familiar characters from previous books while introducing new ones as well, setting the scene for what comes next, and after that epilogue, I can’t wait for the next gen series.

If you read any previous books where Emory and Killian make an appearance, it has always been pretty clear there was something more to them. Something that no one else knew about. And a pretty clear view that these two had a past. One that only they knew about. We learn that they met 6 years previously during a time when a big change to their lives and futures was about to start for each of them. However, this one night would truly Change Emory’s future forever.

Killian had no clue who the woman he met in London was. He didn’t know how to find her and he never stopped thinking of her. Even looking for her and believing she d!ed. His running into her six years later was a little shocking. With this he wants answers. Emory has one huge secret that absolutely no one knows about including her brother. Her night with Killian changed everything for her and the results of that night changed the woman she was. A huge tr!gger about child loss and k!dnapping in this story. Nothing is overly descriptive though.

One of the things I love about Killian is that yes he is obsessed and will protect her with his life but he wants her by his side fighting as well. He knows she is a leader and trusts her judgment. He knows she has a secret he just doesn’t realize how big it is. Emory was always in previous books shown as this powerful woman. One that men who crossed her fear. No holds bar leader who is just as d@ngerous as any other man in this world. But the what and who that drives her is far greater than any power she gains. It’s one of the things I love most about Eva’s FMC. She writes amazing bad a$$ females who are just as strong as their male counterparts.

The steam is always just enough for me. Not too much and just enough that makes you wish for a little more. The story and plot are very important and the tiny details about what’s to come and for future books are always there. It’s what makes Eva’s books so add!cking to me.

Now don't get me wrong, this was a very entertaining story but....

Okay the main characters weren't bad. The MMC was on point. Obsessive and caring and amazing...

It was the FMC character that made me want to shoot someone. I mean like???? I get that the girl is powerful and all but come onnnnnn

Like why wouldn't you trust him?? He had power too?? He could've helped you??

Happy they have a daughter together. I was hoping that they would say she wasn't fully (properly) sterilized so she could have more kids but ughgghhhhhh

This would've received two stars but I'm happy that we got a mention of Matteo! Particularly the drama with the sisters ._.

Had a hard time to pick a favourite. I must say that everytime I read a new book by Eva they jumped on top of my favourite list.

Reading Ravenous Kingpin was emotional. Emory was a very strong character even though she went through a lot. One look at Emory, Killian was obssessed with her.

I’m in love with Killian! Absolutely adored him. He love her so hard. The fact that he was so protective of Emory was so hot.

So many things happened in this book that there’s no time to rest. It was heartbreaking, emotional and twisted! Love the fact that we get many cameos from the family🩵

You can read this as a standalone but I would suggest to read the previous books in the series so you won’t get lost while reading.

It has definitely been hit or miss with this series. Book 1 I loved, book 2 was meh, book 3 was aaamazing. And now we have book 4 and it was pretty lackluster. Disappointing because I love Eva winners’ books. Hopefully the next book is better.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and powerful secondary and supporting characters many of whom we met in the previous story lines. From the Russian Bratva, Italian Mafia, South American Cartel and the Irish Mob, the power elite are determined to take back control.

RAVENOUS KINGPIN is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, obsession, acceptance and love. Once again, the premise is dark, dramatic and heart breaking; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are broken, dynamic and powerful.

I recently dove into Ravenous Kingpin by Eva Winners, and I have to say, it was quite the ride! This dark romance set in the gritty world of the mafia had me hooked from the start.

The story revolves around Killian and Emory, whose lives are intricately woven together by power struggles and deep-seated secrets. I loved how fast-paced the narrative was; just when I thought I had it figured out, there was another twist that kept me on my toes. Emory’s determination to rise as a kingpin in a male-dominated world made her such a strong and relatable character.

Winners really shines in her character development. Emory is not just a typical female lead; she has vulnerabilities that make her journey all the more compelling. Killian, with his alpha male persona, also surprised me with his depth and complexity. Their chemistry is electric, and I found myself rooting for them throughout their tumultuous journey.

The writing style is vivid and immersive, pulling me right into their chaotic world. I appreciated the dual perspectives, which gave me insight into both Emory’s and Killian’s thoughts and motivations. The dialogue was sharp and filled with tension, perfectly reflecting the high stakes they faced.

While I did feel that some parts moved a bit quickly, the overall experience was incredibly satisfying. Ravenous Kingpin is a fantastic blend of romance and suspense, and it sets up an exciting foundation for future installments in the Kingpins of the Syndicate series.

I’m giving it 4 stars because it beautifully balances tension and romance while introducing characters that truly resonate with me. I can’t wait to see what Eva Winners has in store next!

I mean wow!!! Truly, what a good mafia book!! I don’t know how but as Eva continues to write, her books just get better and better and SO MUCH BETTER!!

Truthfully, I’ve been excited for this book to come but I didn’t expect for Killian to be my favorite of the Kingpins. I truly loved all of the others so much!! Like I said, her books just get better every single time.

This book was intense. I did not expect what was going to happen or the storyline. Sure I could tell that there was some type of tension between them but what we got was SO MUCH BETTER!!!

The way they met?? It had meee swooning over Killian too! I loved the way they just were with one another from the beginning.

I absolutely adored Killian’s character. He was possessive, intense & so protective of Emory, no questions asked. He was the perfect mafia MMC. He loved her SO hard. He was so forgiving and just truly wanted her to be his NO MATTER WHAT.

As for Emory, she was imperfect but so strong. She went through so much trauma and I am so glad that she came out on the other side. I cannot wait to see and hear more about her and her family, iykyk!!

ALSO, the others characters from other series making appearances? Always SO amazing!! I can’t wait to see more of the badass woman we got to meet during this book!! Her book is going to be amazing & I can’t wait to read!! 🥹🥹 I love her already!!

Now, CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT EVA’S SET UP FOR HER FIRST NEXT GEN BOOK!?!? ITS GOING TO BE SO GOOD!! AHHHHH!!!

Eva is my go to go author and with her books, i will never be left bored!
This one once again was great story,with amazing amount spicy and action involving Killian Cullan the Irish mafia heir ,and Emory Di Lustro the the badass mafia boss,who is part of The Syndicate.

One night together Emory disappeare from the face of the earth,leaving Killian to search for her under state and stone.
Only 6 years later they to meet again,but this time Killian will not let her disappear ever again!!

His love for her was unbreakable, and soo heart melting to read about.
Emory has a lot of secrets though and went through something horrific that make her e now the person she is, so strong and determined to save the the lost peace in her life that she was missing.

The book was as always filled with excitement and steam ,just what Eva Winners is doing with every single book of hers.
The end get me glimpse for the next generation that literally make me to scream!😵‍💫like I was not ready for that little snippet I get for what is awaiting us next year!

Once again this is book for all the mafia obsessed girllies, who like strong and determined woman,who knows what they wants, and theyr unhigienly obsessed men,who will make everything for theyr women!!

Killian and Emory were an unexpected pairing to me... their meet cute was a bit cliche. He's a playboy, he's slept around, she's a virgin, and they have a once night stand. He wants her to be his and all because she's different. And yet, I still eat up second chances, and one night stands with consequences.

Killian and Emory's story is fast-paced, filled with some suspense and twists you really don't see coming. Emory is focused on being the best kingpin with her given territory by the Syndicate, while also looking for her long-lost daughter. On the other hand, Killian is hell-bent on making her his wife. She does not want to marry, but her seat in the syndicate is threatened, so she must decide. Lose it or marry?

Of course, they marry. However, that does not stop the dangers surrounding their affairs. Personal and mafia-related.

Well, we’ve reached the end, this is the last book in the series.. and baby, it was a freakin hot one!! 🥵

Can you find me a man more obsessed with his woman than Killian? I’ll wait… lol 😆 no, but seriously, this man searched for her 6 YEARS after she ran off after their one night stand. He straight up just never gave up. That’s the kind of fictional man we can all fall for. Add on that this man is wickedly filthy and has a dirty mouth to match, and I’m in heaven.

I seriously loved Emory and Killian’s story so much, I can’t say much plot wise, cause it would spoil a lot of the fun and the some of the best parts. What I will say is that I think their story might’ve taken the top spot for the series, it was just that good. 🤩

Troy and Mackenzie did amazing as these characters and it felt like they gave them a life of their own. I loved this audio so much, from start to finish. But really I have loved all of the audios for this series. This one was one of the top audios for the series, Troy and Mackenzie just performed so well together.

Sad that this is the end of the series! I love Eva’s books, and her audios, so I can say with such confidence, that if you love dark mafia romances, you really need to dive into Eva’s series! Especially the audios!! 🥰

Entiendo y defiendo a Emory de todo lo que hizo para recuperar a su hija, desde fingir su muerte hasta meterse en negocios turbios para dar con su paradero.

May I present Killian Brennan Cullen everyone 🥵!! This is the fourth and final book in the Kingpins of the Syndicate series and whew it did NOT disappoint!! Ravenous Kingpin follows Killian and Emory DiLustro, the only female in the syndicate league if you will. Their story starts off with a bang..literally!

Emory meet Killian back when she was 18 and just a normal girl before her life would change. At the time, neither knew who each other was. That chance meeting and one streamy night, set off a chain of events that destroyed Emory but I feel like it also made her a bad ass who she was later on in life. Killian thought about Emory over the years due to her mystery and disappearance. But as years passed, they finally saw each other and thought he seen a ghost. Emory had been keeping a big secret from everyone and she doesn’t stop until finds what she’s looking for. Her story broke my heart as you read on. But man does Eva take you on a wild ride! There are so many twist and turns that leave you wanting more!! I don’t want to give too much away because in this story because it does answer questions from previous books. We also see other characters made an appearance and I’ll just say…even I was shocked how loving they turned out to be🥹. BUT LETS TALK ABOUT THE EPILOGUE 😭😭!!! I’m an BEYOND ready👏🏻!! I will NEVER not recommend @evawinners books 📚! They are literal masterpieces
