Vic Sterling People have called me uptight, a control freak, and an ice queen for most of my life. As co-owner and CEO of Blue Vista Events, I orchestrate other people's happily-ever-afters while keeping my own heart safely frozen.
Until Tanner Marcus strolls back into my life with an outrageous proposal. We’d been friends once—and almost more—until he took the job at my father’s company that should have been mine. My father's latest power play offers Tanner ownership of the company, but only if he puts a ring on my finger.
His counter-offer is half the business in exchange for a temporary marriage. But while I might trust him in the boardroom, I won't trust him with my heart—because even ice can break.
Tanner Marcus Taking the job at Sterling Properties cost me Vic’s trust once. I’m not going to let it happen a second time. Not when I have another chance with the one woman who has never left my thoughts. She may present a polished, frigid facade to the world, but I remember the fire beneath the frost.
Living together is breaking down our carefully constructed walls. Behind closed doors, Vic lets her guard down and even dances with me. She’s helping me learn that loving my family doesn’t mean I have to solve all their problems, and I'm teaching her she doesn’t need to be in control all the time.
We agreed to divorce after twelve months, but I've been harbouring a decade of unspoken feelings. As our pretense starts to feel real, I'm ready to renegotiate terms. Instead of a year, why not forever?
So great to let the last member of the Blue Vista Crew shine! Vic is smart, classy and takes no shit. It was nice to watch her walls come down and the long time coming relationship bloom. I like how within every book the spice has a different flavor, keeps it interesting and that there is something for everyone. Lots of elements of business, celebration, family dynamics, cute romance, trust and self acceptance. Any women with drive could relate to the themes in this book.
Very bitter sweet for this series to come to an end. I found this series last Christmas and immediately fell in love with it, I will miss them. I was also a little disappointed that Spencer and Lis did not name their baby Malcolm from Fire Fly as I did🤣
This final instalment to the blue vista crew series was just what Vic needed. We met Vic Sterling in book one “Why Not Both” as Spencer’s childhood best friend. Now she gets her story. Another feel good fun romance from Sarah Neeson with laughter, romance and a little bit of spice 😘. A must read. If you haven’t read any of the Blue Vista Series yet I urge you to give them a go. I’m not usually a romance reader but these are a must read.
The final installment of the “Blue Vista” series reunites old friends and offers a second chance at lost love. Victoria (Vic) is the CEO of the company she co-owns with her friends, and it’s thriving—so much so that they are soon opening a second location. Unfortunately, her love life is not going as well. When a friend from the past makes a surprising proposal, will she be able to stick to the plan, or will her feelings get in the way? Tanner has been in love with Vic since grad school. Their one night together was blissful, but she abruptly ghosted him afterwards. Although Tanner sees her regularly since he works for her father, there remains a significant emotional distance between them. When he proposes a contract to help her achieve her goals, will it bring them closer together, or will a spur-of-the-moment decision ruin everything? This book is another great addition to the series. Once again, we witness the strong bonds of friendship and the sense of found family among the characters. We also dive deeper into Vic and Tanner’s backstory, exploring their family histories and personal journeys. Tanner’s sweet nature and his genuine love for Vic are incredibly endearing. I came to understand Vic better, especially through her interactions with her father and his comments. I was thrilled with the ending, although I would have liked a sentence addressing the fate of the Sterling company and the family dinners to resolve some lingering questions. Overall, it’s a fantastic read, and I loved the surprises in the origami. I look forward to more works from this author. ⭐ 4 🌶️ 1.5 🥵 Spicy chapters: 23, 28, 34 📚 Tropes/Themes: marriage of convenience, it's always been you, the one that got away, slow burn, he takes care of her, my wife, good girl 👀 Dual POV 1st person 🧠 Triggers: mentions of homelessness, gambling addiction, narcissistic parent 🛍️ Available: May 7
💬 Well, this is the final book in the Blue Vista Crew series and while I've been so excited to read Vic's story, but I'm pretty sad that it's over. 😭😭😭 I've read the ARCs for all the books in this series and I love them all so much! And side note, I don't know if I said this in my previous reviews but I really love how Neeson includes the title of her book in the text
I did have kind of a hard time connecting to the FMC though, mainly because she's child free and I am very much not.
And there were times I thought that her dad was just a little bit too villain-y... Like he was so much of a homophobic misogynist that his character was almost unbelievable. Along with that I kind of feel like the story line with Keith came out of nowhere- I wish there had been a little bit more build up to that.
But ugh has there ever been a more perfect MMC than Tanner?! the origami 🥹 THE ORIGAMIIIII 😭 That man had me swooning all over the place, I could barely stay upright. (Ok but Spencer, Derek and Nate, you boys had me swooning too 😩)
This story was just wonderful and I can't think of a more perfect ending for this series then Tanner and Vic. Like, it makes my little heart happy that Vic finds somebody who matches her, and compliments her and stands up to fight for her even when she's given up on doing it herself
Vic and Tanner knew each other from university almost 10 years ago and after one amazing night together where they both though they were going to start dating her father decide to hire Tanner instead of her the job at the Sterling Properties .
Now when her father wants to retire asks Tanner to take over his place and marry Vic so the company stay with the Sterlings . Tanner never really was happy working there but at first he needed the money to pay his student loans and then when he tried to quit his boss always offered him something he couldn't turn down . The first thing he does is to go to Vic and tell her want her father wants but he has a plan of his own to give Vic what she really all these years wanted , to own the family company , they have to marry and after he gats the 51% of the company they could actually divorce . Tanner is in love with her and he is hoping that they will remain married forever but he is willing to do whatever she want . Vic agrees to marry him but living and spending time with him and his large family make her realize that she is in love with him and she doesn't care about her father company as her own company she created with her 3 best friends is all that matters . I loved that all the friends were there to support Vic to realize what mistake she would have make if she didn't have Tanner in her corner . Why Not Forever? is a beautifully written, emotionally rich romance that tugs at the heartstrings while reminding us why Sarah Neeson is a must-read author. As someone who’s been following this series from the very beginning, I can honestly say this installment feels like both a reward and a homecoming.
The characters in this story are so well-developed and deeply human that it’s impossible not to get completely wrapped up in their journey. Their history, their chemistry, and their struggles all come together in a way that feels honest and raw. There’s such a satisfying emotional arc here—one that explores love, second chances, and choosing vulnerability even when it’s scary.
Sarah Neeson has a gift for writing dialogue that’s equal parts witty and heartfelt, and she knows how to build a romance that simmers with tension and then explodes into something truly unforgettable. The pacing is perfect, the storytelling seamless, and the emotions genuine from start to finish.
If you’ve read the previous books in the series, this one will hit even harder—it brings everything full circle in the most satisfying way. And if you’re new to the series, it will absolutely convince you to go back and start from book one.
I was so delighted to get to read the fourth book in Sarah Neeson’s Blue Vista Crew series, Why Not Forever? Vic has been one of the original characters since day one of the first book, Why Not Both?, and this book felt like the perfect conclusion to an amazing series. I’m going to miss these characters and the world Sarah created for them!
Vic and Tanner’s second chance, slow burn, marriage of convenience story was brilliantly done. We love a man down so bad for his woman, and Tanner would do ANYTHING for Vic. I love how they stand up for each other and show up as a team at every twist and turn. They are clearly so well suited for each other and I enjoyed every page of their story.
Why Not Forever? was the perfect end to the Blue Vista crew series! I’ve so loved following these characters through their love stories & watching their happily ever afters really come true. These books are the epitome of found family and the warmth and tenderness between the characters flew off the page and right into my heart!
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by BookSirens. The opinions expressed are my own.
Tanner has had a crush on Vic since grad school. After their graduation, they spend an incredible night together. His dreams of becoming a couple come crashing down when he realizes he’s taken the position she was vying for at her father’s company. 8 years have passed, and when her father makes him a deal that he can take over the business if he agrees to marry Vic, he can’t deny this second chance.
This was such a fun and low angst read. Firstly, I loved that the two MC’s were upfront and honest with each other from the get go. I also liked that Vic did not continue to harbor animosity towards Tanner for all of these years. She admits she regretted how things went down, and there’s a lot of communication and trust between the two. Both are extremely likable, and it was great to see them have each other’s backs and watch their tentative friendship turn into something more. Our boy Tanner was head over heels in love with her, and it was so fun to watch. This is a new to me author, and I plan to go back and read the other books in the series.

If you have read the previous three books in the series you know Vic is bi and has had a toxic on/off relationship with one of her exes.
Now we know she spent one night with Tanner seven years ago and she "broke" with him the next day when he got the job she wanted in her father's company.
Tanner still works for her father and has a proposition. If they get married her father will give him part of the company and the CEO position and Tanner will give her half. What Vic doesn't know is that he was in love with her seven years ago and is still in love with her so he will try to gain her love and to make their marriage real.
I loved how their "fake" relationship evolves and how well Tanner connect with her group of friends/business partners, and how two workaholics start to want to spend more time together instead of working.
Loved the Blue Vista crew series and i'm looking forward reading more stories from Sarah.
I loved getting to watch Vic discover what she wanted in her personal and business life, even though both her and Tanner were too afraid to share their real feelings until the end.
I love how Tanner stood up to Vic's dad for her and the strength she has to know that she doesn't need her parents' approval. I love that Vic did the same for him and stood up to Tanner's brother for him and his family. They both bring out the best in each other and I love that there was already an established trust with one another that continues to last to the very last page.
I feel like I say this in every book, but I really love how supportive this group of friends are with one another and how they share in each other's happiness and help through the down times.

Slow Burn, He Falls First, Forced Proximity / Fake Marriage, Found Family - So Fun!
This was a great finish to the Blue Vista Crew series, and I loved that Vic finally gets her story and meets her match in Tanner. And it was great to have "cameos" from the rest of the crew, and see them all living their HEAs. This story works as a standalone, but is also a great conclusion to a wonderful series if you have a chance to read the previous books. I liked both Vic and Tanner as individuals - she is a strong, smart, successful and independent woman despite her family, and he is also successful but with a big caring heart (the Origami!) that never got over Vic - the one that got away. Seeing them reconnect, wondering what would happen next and their amazing chemistry kept the pages turning - Enjoy!
I was sent an ARC by the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Why Not Forever is a beautiful, slow-burn finale to the Blue Vista Crew series that delivers on both heart and character growth. Vic is a powerhouse CEO with a tightly controlled life—until Tanner, her old friend and almost-something-more, walks back into it with a wild proposal: a strategic marriage.
What starts as a business move quickly spirals into something real, and watching Vic’s walls come down was deeply satisfying. Tanner is patient, grounded, and impossible not to root for. Their chemistry simmers, their baggage feels real, and the emotional payoff? Totally worth the wait.
This book does a great job wrapping up the series while standing strong on its own. Fans of second chances, found family, and reluctant vulnerability will fall in love. Neeson nails the finale—bittersweet, hopeful, and heartwarming.
I am absolutely floored by Why Not Forever by Sarah Neeson! It’s about time we got to Vic's story and how she falls in love. And boy does she fights it tooth and nail. Will everything that she’s fought so hard to get come to her? Or will she be forced to be set aside by the one person who should have been there for her from the day she was born?
Tanner was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but he never assumed that him getting a job would ruin the trust of the person he was growing to love. But when he is approached by Vic’s father, he has two choices:
One: be manipulative, like Vic's father
Or
Two: fess up to what is really happening and see where it’ll lead
Will this marriage of convenience work out? Only time will tell and only if you read the book! :-)
Sarah Neeson did an exceptional job on Vic’s story and brought Tanner in to be everything she could possibly need and more!
I'd like to thank the author for the opportunity to review this book.
The fourth instalment in the Blue Vista series and it feels like catching up with old friends.
This time it’s Vic’s turn to find love, or should we say love AGAIN when Tanner comes back into her life with an interesting proposal. Marry him, so her dad will hand him his company, which Tanner will then share with Vic. It should be hers after all.
The trope of fake relationship / fake marriage has been there, done over and over and we got the T-shirt collection. So it was interesting to see if this book would get a refreshing spin.
Unfortunately not really, but it was still a nice comfy read.
The author is very skilled in weaving the story, making you feel you are right there with the band of friends.
Vic and Tanner hook up at the end of graduation but when Vic’s father gives Tanner the job Vic wanted, she cuts off all ties. Tanner still cares about her after several years, and Vic now owns a successful company with her best friends. Tanner still wants her and thinks she wants the company so Tanner proposes they marry and after Vic’s father retires Tanner will turn the company over to Vic. Their contract with each other said they could divorce once the company was in Vic’s hands. I loved Tanner’s devotion to Vic and how hard he tried to keep things just friendly after their marriage. Vic’s parents were not caring, and I loved how Tanner’s family embraced Vic as their own. Tanner and Vic had a great influence on each other, making them even better people.
I received a digital ARC of this book. This is book 4 in the series and should be read in order unless you want spoilers for previous books. Also, the stories take place in chronological order. I have loved this entire series. It’s based on a group of friends from college who started a business together. Each book has one of the friends as the lead. This one is about Victoria, Vic, and the one who got away. Book 3 ends and Book 4 begins in the same spot. Tanner, the one who got away, coming to see Vic with the craziest proposal ever. A business proposal. Will Vic agree? And can they bury old feelings and keep it strictly professional? You’ll have to read to find out! I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I’m hoping the author decides to add more books to the series!
I really enjoyed this book. The characters that were supposed to be likable definitely were and those who weren’t supposed to be definitely weren’t. The two main characters almost started a relationship at the end of grad school; however, a job offer came between them. Years later, they have a second chance together when they initiate a contract marriage to take ownership of the FMC’s dad’s company. The story is cute and centered around trusting one another. The story is well-written with just enough drama to keep it moving, but not too much where it bogs you down while reading it. I’ll be checking out this author’s other books!

A great second chance at love story. Tanner and Vic have known each other since university when they were doing their MBA. Vic broke off their romance when her father gave him the job she thought was hers. She set up her own business with three friends and made a success of it. Tanner worked his way up to COO for her father but hated the job. Seven years later her father says he will hand the CEO job to Tanner with 51% of his shares if he marries Vic. The enter a marriage of convenience so she would get half of Tanner's shares when he takes over but Vic realizes she doesn't want her father's company she just wants Tanner. Their HEA is highly recommended reading.
Sarah Neeson doesn't disappoint with this fourth installment in the Blue Vista Crew series. Seven years ago, Vic Sterling let Tanner walk away from their friendship and a new relationship when her father hired him instead of her. While her family never values or accepts her, when Tanner is told to marry her and take over her family's business, he recruits her to flip the script. Together, Vic and Tanner concoct a plan to outsmart her terrible father. The only problem is that they both might have more feelings than a business arrangement should have. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I’m so sad that we’ve come to the end of the Blue Vista Crew; I hope it lives on in a spin-off series or with peripheral characters! I have to say, I wasn’t fully expecting to love this book because Vic was always the character I connected with the least. She always seemed so cold to me, and never made as much of an appearance as the other characters. I was very happily surprised with this book! I fell in love with Tanner and Vic, and I’m glad she sort of came out of her shell, so to speak. This has been such a great series!
I received a copy of Why Not Forever? from BookSirens, and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
Oh this one guy is a real a-hole, thinks so little of his own daughter.
Oh I do like the MMC he’s very easy to get on with, I can already see where this is going. Supposed to be a fake wedding, but he’s already falling in love
Aww they are both falling in love. Again this guy and his wife are real a-holes.
Living separate lives in the same flat, it can’t be easy
I loved the way the story continued, even though the ex popped up trying to cause trouble, she failed which I’m glad
How many times do I have to say this—I LOVE the Blue Vista crew so much it actually hurts!!😫 I want to hang out with all of them so bad. Their dynamic is peak found family energy and I’m obsessed😙🤌
It was so refreshing to see a new side of Vic. She’s always been a total badass (love that for her), but this book let us see her heart🥺❤️ Such a perfect way to wrap up the series.
So grateful to have ARC read this series—what an honor!! I can’t wait to see what the author brings us next!
I highly recommend this series if you’re a fan of the found family trope with a lot of humor and romance.
What a great happy ending for this amazing series - The Blue Vista Crew by Sarah Neeson.
I read all books of this series and loved every page. Those are so beautifully written- you can just feel the range of emotions on the go. And this final instalment was sweet and spicy.
Vic and Tanner’s story comes with the history and now he wants to be smarter not to lose her. Who said that fake marriage stays fake. If her walls will come down, maybe he has a chance to go from 12 months to forever? I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
History and animosity between Vic and Tanner complicate a reunion demanded from her father. Everything between these two is electrifyingly intense and full of passion, especially once they end up living together for their arrangement. I enjoyed the fact Tanner wanted more with Vic and never stopped loving her. This was a cute story with an intriguing rivalry that was delightful to read.

This is book 4 in Neeson's Blue Vista Crew series. A wonderful addition and conclusion to the series that can be read as a standalone. A feel good romance read that balances out humor and romance with a touch of sizzle. This is Vic and Tanners story and I loved their journey and seeing the character growth. A wonderful romance read I would highly recommend.

This was a great story. It was page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. The chemistry between them was sweet and captivating as the physical attraction was so much intense with desire of passion. They couldn’t fight the temptation any longer in this moment.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Trina Jones
Oh man I have been WAITING for Vic's story since the start of this series. It was so amazing to meet Tanner and see how he can convince Vic not only into a marriage of convenience - but maybe forever.
Filled with our favorite Blue Vista Crew's antics and never ending support- Vic gets her HEA and a spouse who supports her and doesn't invalidate her bisexual identity.
We start the book with the morning after Vic and Tanner's perfect night together before one person's actions ruin everything. Seven years later, that person is at it again living up to the nickname for Richard only this time, her father's misogyny is pushing them together rather than apart. As in, he'll make Tanner the CEO of his company if Tanner marries his daughter to officially become part of the Sterling family. Now you might be wondering, why would anyone, especially Tanner and Vic, agree to this?! Well Tanner might know Vic always wanted to run the company with her family's name on it and Vic knows this is the only way she'll get to participate in her family's legacy. Their marriage of convenience is a chance to correct her father's dismissal and might just be a second chance to correct what should have been all along.
I love a good marriage of convenience/fake dating, especially when it's for a good cause, and following along as Tanner and Vic fight their growing feelings and fall into a relationship that is way too easy considering everything that's going on. They were so freaking cute and clearly destined for each other. It's almost like they were scripted to be together.
