Scotty & Jay #2

Scotty & Jay's Second Hellish Adventure

Rate this book
Scotty and Jay continue their work for the Celestial Council and Lucifer, investigating cases that don’t fall under purely good or purely evil standards. It’s time for them to return to the Human Realm as a fully bonded, balanced pair when unforeseen events begin to spiral out of control.

The murders of a cherub and a lesser demon in Limbo hint at something sinister, but is the culprit from the Celestial Realm or the underworld? What are the ramifications one way or the other?

Without warning, Jay gets a promotion in the underworld that swings the balance of power to the point where it could break their bond. Will it break their hearts at the same time?

This book of original paranormal fiction is the second book in the spinoff series from the universe of Dearly & the Departed. It is approximately 30,000 words in length and ends happily.

Well, this 2nd Adventure was definitely an improvement... IMHO!!!

I know that world-building can be tedious and it comes with the occasional "who? what? where?" so, all in all I had a pretty good idea of who everyone was for the second story. But, it would appear that the author lost track of who was who a time or two! 🤣

Looking forward to book 3 and hoping that Nyx makes an appearance and gets what is due her! 🤞🤬

Much easier to read. The world has already been built and not so many characters to learn.
Scotty and Jay have spent their time in Hell and are now ready to go back to earth.
However, Jay goes to find out who made Apate pregnant and ends up calling the powers of Hell to help him. This means that he and Scotty are not balanced anymore. The gang go into overdrive to sort out the issue.
I expect book 3 in the series will be the war that has been coming.
