Updated Review 6/18/25: Past me had rated this four stars but I'm bumping it up to five because this is my favorite volume of the three! I went from crying reading one chapter to laughing in the next, and truly amazed at that emotional experience!

I cannot wait to get my hands on volume four!! I am loving this series so much!

Original Review 3/10/25: Another fantastic volume, though I really didn't expect to cry when reading this one! LOL!

I really really loved how we got so much from Vincent's POV! I didn't think it would be just as angsty as being in Oriana's POV but it definitely was! Maybe even more! Or if not, it definitely had A LOT more blushy faces, which was cute! He definitely has it bad for our main girl and really shocked at how well he's been able to hide it thus far. I mean, yes, he HAS shown he likes her, but with how volume two ended and how harsh he was, I was unprepared to see that he genuinely loves her.

I was very thankful he expressed his thoughts of feeling like he was being a substitute for Vince, even though that conversation hurt to read. I wasn't angry at him despite that he felt he purposely hurt Oriana because I don't think he WANTED to hurt her because he himself didn't quite realize how much he was hurting. Now they both can move forward with a fresh start, which is something I think was desperately needed after everything.

Chapter 13 was definitely my favorite and so excited for all the fun things that seem to be happening!

Also the bonus story! Be gentle on our Miguel!! I love his character and he had SEVERAL panels that made my heart skip a beat!

I never can resist reading these volumes as soon as they arrive, but UGH having to wait for the next volume to release because I want more NOW! LOL!

I’m so satisfied with the progress! And oh, that cliffhanger! I can’t wait to open the next volume! All the characters are lovable, even Miguel (I’m sorry if I ever doubted you.) This is so fluffy—the art style remains beautiful! I can’t help but give it a five-star now. I only wish it was longer! I’m down to two volumes (I don’t know how to say goodbye for now!)

Review to be adjusted once series is complete

This is my first dip into a time loop series; Oriana and her boyfriend Vincent are both students at a magic school when one fateful night, Vincent dies without any obvious traces. Oriana tries to help but instead collapses and finds herself waking up back in time when she was seven. Her life plays on repeat while she has kept her memories of her previous life. Her goal is to disrupt the flow of time as little as possible whilst still preparing herself for the day Vincent died so that this time she can help him. Unfortunately, the Vincent in her repeated life has no memories of their past life together, making this a rather lonely journal for Oriana.

One thing that surprised me was that Oriana immediately confronts Vincent about not having shared memories as opposed to waiting to see how he reacts and how they find a way back to each other. In a way, I think had she waited, it would have resulted in a more slow burn and tense kind of situation and I felt like it wasn't Oriana's smartest move. On the other hand, the fact that she is upfront about it and is constantly facing rejection by Vincent whilst remaining cheerful and continuously trying to discover the culprit, adds a whole different kind of dynamic between the two. There is something bittersweet about how Oriana puts on a brave face but is clearly lonely and sad and essentially alone in her endeavours to prevent past tragedies from repeating themselves.

The world building feels a little weak at this point, it seems very standard magic school but we get to see very little of the said magic. Nonetheless, it's my cup of tea setting wise so I just try to appreciate what we get. The art is beautiful and I want to say a little unusual. It has a lot of shoujo traits and yet has a more roundish edge to it that looks more unique - it gives the characters a soft look. I'm definitely curious to see how this series continues - both in terms of mystery and romance.

.☘︎ ݁˖ "oriana, there's no need to anguish so. i'm right here. it's not your fault i died. you have no obligation to me. though you retained your memories and returned to the past... saving my life isn't a burden you must force yourself to bear. you can find your happiness. i want you to be happy, oriana."

⋆˙⟡ — i love this <33 ଘ(੭◌ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ♡‧₊˚

oof chapter one, and im already ready to tear out all my hair. oriana's heartbreak over and over again. ahhhhh my sweet child, and then there's vincent (the idiot) who's still figuring out whats a and b in the situation. his reservations are understandable, but brother she loves you. to her life 1 or life 2, vincent is vincent!!!! get that through your thick skull!! if she's staying away its cause you told her to!!!

ok so uhhhhhhhhhhhhh THIS IS SO FREAKING SAD AND UNFAIR AND UGH SOMEONE FIX THIS MESS!!! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON THE IDIOT THAT CASUED THIS WHOLE ORDEAL IM NOT SPARING YOU!!! CAUSE THESE TWO ARE SUFFERING FOR NO REASON!!! one is desperate to not have fate repeat, and the other is afraid he's just a stand in for a version of him that no longer exists. sigh

Wow!

4.5 stars rounded up.
Ughhhh the yearning. Vincent, you know she loves you, stop being so difficult. Anyway, Miguel is a true homie to both Vincent and Oriana. Vincent getting jealous was so cute but irritating like come on man. They did finally talk stuff out, so I'm glad the communication and lighter atmosphere afterwards is back. All the blushing they did in this volume was 10/10 XD. Him playing along and being the Vincent she knows and loves while she was sick was just, ugh imma cry from the sweet and angst.

I had a good time reading this volume! I very much enjoyed reading Vincent’s pov. I’m glad he expressed his feelings about feeling like a placeholder for the “real Vincent” (even though Oriana loves Vincent). I love seeing Vincent have lose his cool and get all blushy and flustered, it’s hilarious! I’m glad Vincent and Oriana resolved their misunderstanding .Looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops from here

On adore !

I really like this series but wtf! I adore the plot and art, I find the facial expressions so endearing for the most part! But there was this embarrassingly long stretch in the middle that made me feel like I was reading a fetish manga, (while I was on the bus), of the MC's "fever". WAY too many panels of her sweating and crying with her mouth open, like WHO TF is that for when the target audience is straight women. Even as a bi woman I found it egregious and bizarre. It didn't even add to the story.

The fever trope was used in the worst way, now that I'm looking at that entire chunk of book again... It was cringe and forced, not cute. But otherwise, 10/10 art and a charming series otherwise.
