Double Blind by A.X. Foster is the second book in the Seneca County Courthouse Series and centers around the caseload of Senior Assistant State’s Attorney William “Mac” MacIntyre. This particular case centers around a retrial of Edward “Eddie” Stephens who was convicted of a crime in 2002. Twenty years later he is granted a retrial.
Mac MacIntyre is the prosecutor in the case. Throughout the book, A.X. Foster grabs you with a story that could be ripped c from the headlines. With fading memories and the discovery of other issues in the original trial, Mac must give the performance of a lifetime. As the story unfolds, A.X. Foster creates an atmosphere in which the reader is pulled into the life of a trial lawyer.
I absolutely enjoyed reading Double Blind. From start to finish, A.X. Foster uses the knowledge of his career from both sides of the courtroom to bring readers a gripping legal thriller. As stated above, this is the second book in the Seneca County Courthouse Series. While each book is a separate case and can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the books in order to get a better understanding of who Mac MacIntyre really is. You can start the series with book one Gavel To Gavel.

A X Foster's story telling grabs you from the moment you read the first page until the extremely satisfying ending ! His characters have great depth and you are complete absorbed in the story. Honestly I hated the book to end. I can't wait to read his next book !

Double Blind is a fantastic legal thriller from A.X. Foster. With a gripping storyline mixed with the thrill of courtroom drama, Double Blind brings the legal system to life in a captivating and rivering way. I highly recommend Double Blind and book one in the Seneca County Courthouse Series, Gavel To Gavel.
