I never expected to survive a helicopter crash. Now I’m snowed in with four ex-Navy SEALs—and they’re as dangerous as they are irresistible.
The Alaskan wilderness was supposed to be the backdrop for my biggest story, not the place I’d fight for my life. Rescued by four rugged men living off the grid, I’m safe for now. But their stormy eyes and forbidden touches ignite a fire in me I can’t control.
Griffin is the stoic leader whose strength makes me feel safe—and weak in the knees. Kai is all warmth and charm, with a smile that hides his broken heart. Hunter’s flirtatious exterior masks a protector willing to risk everything. And Rhett… he’s the brooding shadow I can’t outrun, even as his intensity scares me.
Two months trapped with them, and I’m losing more than my independence. I’m losing myself to them.
But when secrets of their past come to light, and danger hunts us in the snow, I’ll have to Am I ready to fight for these men the way they’ve fought for me? Or will the storm outside be nothing compared to the storm within?
Snowed in with Four Seals is a steamy, reverse harem, damsel in distress, forced-proximity, romantic suspense. Callie is an investigative reporter working on a story in Alaska. On her way to speak with a witness, her helicopter crashes. She is the only survivor. She ends up rescued by four hunky ex-Seals. Kai is a caring protector and the first who seems to trust her, Hunter is the playboy flirt, Griffin is their silver-fox leader, and Rhett is the mean and broody one who hates her immediately. They also have their own secrets. I am not totally sure how I feel about this book. There is a lot of good steam, but their chemistry didn't seem strong, and the story was a bit slow and disjointed at times, making it seem extra unbelievable. There is a lot of danger, drama, and somewhat angry sex. It was just ok for me. 3.5☆s.

I’m trying really hard to like this book, but the whole helicopter crash is a little unbelievable. The MFC’s miraculous recovery was far fetched.
She survived, was barely hurt (or her injuries weren’t severe what so ever) and was able to bang so quickly. Speaking of the banging, the chemistry between the characters are nonexistent. They go from zero to one hundred and fourteen in no time at all.
The grouchy, suspicious MMC openly hates the woman but lets her perform acts on him and then goes right back to hating her. MFC puts herself in mortal danger in the disguise as helping but does nothing but almost get one of the guys killed because of her stupidity.
The MMCs back story isn’t explained well. According do one of the men he’s the only one who never married, so he had money saved up and he was able to buy the cabin. Never brought up again. When we finally get a snippet of a back story it’s lackluster. Yes, they were in the military and things happened, but it’s the kind of stuff to be expected in a war. The MFC reacts as if they murdered a million civilians.
Every “dramatic moment” ends in spicy times. At 50% it just feels like a filler at this point.
The praise and “good girl”s get old wicked fast considering none of the men could be considered dominant or kinky in any way.
There’s a meh spicy scene in the woods against a tree … in the woods, after a blizzard. MFC goes without pants … totally believable. And it happens right after she murks a rabbit that isn’t mentioned again.
I do not understand Rhett he’s so evil to Callie, yet right after he verbally abuses her she’s entertaining the idea of staying with them.
She’s so nosy and childish invading their privacy that I’m not really surprised by the reactions she receives at this point.
The action is really good. I was biting my nails and then the author throws in an unnecessary spicy scene. The man just about bled out, fought off a room full of soldiers with one knife but he’s able to lift her up so she can wrap her legs around his waist. Sure, sure. Book magic.
Cram her face into an old dusty couch. Be still my heart. The sheer amount of swooning happening right now is astronomical.
Oh, back to the action. All of a sudden an investigative reporter has the skills of a Seal. Okay book magic.
The doctor says nothing about his busted face, just focuses on the gunshot to his leg that’s going to take time and rest, tells him to be careful and the first thing he does when he gets home? Rolls on top of her and gives it to her good. *coughs* this book magic is getting out of hand.
Well, the ending was anticlimactic. I feel like things were tied up too quickly wrapped with a perfect bow. Callie forgave Rhett without so much as an apology after all his hostility in the first 89% of the book.
The premise of this good had potential, the characters had promise, but the execution was severely lacking. While I can embrace action happening quickly, it was a bit much within this book. Callie coming out of a helicopter crash to jump right into bed with Kai after 3 conversations and half a "date" is pretty quick even by book standards. Then of course you have to contwnd with the fact she's injured when that happens... Not like that stops the action later in the book either. Broken ribs, action; gunshot wound, jump aboard. It would have been nice to watch the four SEALs build their relationship with Callie as she uses her reporter skills to help them before jumping into anything. For being a journalist, she's been entirely limited in this novel to snooping and being caught. Finally, we get to the villian, Kore Zero. For being an organization with infinite income who screwed over the government, they are insanely easy to infiltrate. If you want an unrealistic read and can put aside several cringe worthy moments, it's at least worth one read.
Callie, an intrepid investigative journalist, is on the trail of what could be her career-defining story when disaster strikes and her helicopter crashes, leaving her stranded in the wilderness. While the pilot doesn’t make it, Callie miraculously survives with relatively minor injuries. Rescued by a quartet of enigmatic men, she wakes up in their remote cabin, where they gradually nurse her back to health. • Kai is the nurturing “mother hen” of the group. He cooks, cleans, tends to his beloved garden, and is the first to make Callie feel safe in a house full of strangers. He also happens to be the first to trust her completely. • Hunter is the irreverent jokester. It seems his entire mission in life is to tease Callie into frustration with his inappropriate quips—until, of course, the SHTF, and he proves there’s more to him than just comic relief. • Griffin is the eldest and the undisputed leader of the team. Reserved and observant, he doesn’t miss a trick, but he also won’t let Callie get too close until he’s absolutely certain of her intentions. • Rhett is the brooding wild card who takes an instant dislike to Callie. If there’s an opportunity to throw suspicion her way or deliver a razor-sharp insult, he takes it. And when it turns out she’s investigating the same corrupt organization they’ve been fighting, his mistrust only deepens. The setup is solid, the characters intriguing, and the action moves at a decent clip. However, the story itself is a bit all over the place. The emotional build-up to Callie’s increasingly intimate entanglements with the guys is practically nonexistent. While I have no objections to a generous dose of spice, there’s a point where less is more. Here, it felt like every meaningful conversation was a prelude to yet another round of unbridled passion—sometimes in the most improbable of situations. Wounded? On the run? Being hunted by a villainous corporation? No problem! There’s always time for a quickie. Speaking of the big bad boogie, Kore Zero is a shady, high-powered organization trafficking in weapons (and who knows what else), yet they somehow can’t eliminate four rogue SEALs and one determined journalist? Suspension of disbelief is required—kind of like watching a James Bond movie where the villain has unlimited resources but still can’t land a clean shot. That said, the characters themselves were enjoyable. Even Rhett, the grumpiest of the bunch, ultimately redeemed himself. For an investigative journalist, Callie was surprisingly restrained, though she couldn’t resist a little snooping here and there. And while Rhett never trusted her motives, she never intended to betray them. Some plot points left me scratching my head, and the logic gaps were hard to ignore, but if you can set realism aside and just go along for the ride, it’s an easy, action-packed read. Personally, I preferred the first book in this series, but this one still has enough intrigue, tension, and heat to make it worth checking out. 4.5 ⭐s Kore Zero has a hit list, and they're all on it.
Callie Rivers is an investigative journalist. She's been writing articles exposing Kore Zero. She has been collecting information on the multinational corporation. It's been involved in various business endeavors, from dealing arms and government contracts involving the military to supplying intel. However, she's learned that it also ties to the mafia and crime groups in other countries.
She was invited by Elijah Walker to come to his remote area in Alaska to discuss Kore Zero's attempt to force him and his relatives off their land. The family has been there since the 1800s, but parts of their deed are illegible due to age, and there are no official records of deeds from that era. There's also gold on the land, and Kore Zero wants it.
Callie was found in the Alaskan wilderness near the site of a helicopter crash. Her head throbs with so much pain that it's hard to think or remember. All she does remember is staggering around through the snow with the cold wind biting at her skin until she finally collapsed. Now she's warm with a fire behind her, but there are people standing around her, discussing her as if she wasn't there, and they're talking about a helicopter crash. She soon realizes that she's in a bed in a cabin that reminds her of the cabin her dad took them to when she was a kid. There are four men around her watching her.
Griffin is the oldest of the four men, with salt-and-pepper hair. He's tall and muscular with a calm demeanor. He's the leader of the group. He makes her feel safe.
Kai is the blue-eyed, sandy-haired one who's filled with warmth and charm. He goes out of his way to calm her and to make her feel at ease. He's the first to truly accept her into the group and feel that she can be trusted.
Hunter’s the emerald-eyed flirt of the group. At first, she's not sure about him. He doesn't seem to care if he makes her feel uneasy, and he's the first to remark about how good-looking she is.
The last man is the dark-eyed Rhett. He's very unwelcoming and believes her to be a spy. His older brother, Jay, had been the leader of their SEAL team but was killed on their last mission. The intel for that mission came from Kore Zero, and none of them were to have survived. Elijah Walker wasn't on their team on their last mission, but he was also a SEAL who had teamed with them before.
Rhett learned that Ashton West, the leader of Kore Zero has built a complex too near to the home of he and his friends. Ashton must be stopped! Without Jay, he really doesn't have that much to live for, so it doesn't matter that this will be a suicide mission. He just never dreamed that Callie would follow him...

‼️some spoilers‼️ FMC: Callie MMC: Kai, Griffin, Hunter, and Rhett
Okay, first and foremost, Callie is a complete bada** when she’s saving Rhett. The guys really don’t give her enough credit, but I’m glad she proves them wrong. She basically became an assassin which was so cool. Secondly, their whole dynamic was just weird to me and didn’t seem organic enough. It felt really forced with Griffin, and obviously Rhett. I honestly wasn’t sure if Callie and Rhett would even be able to bridge the gap between each other, his disdain for her was so evident. Like, I get he was tormented and dark and brooding, but did we forget where he said he hates her, to her face? Idk how they came back from that, but they did. I get he felt as if he had the weight of the world and grief and loss on his shoulders but dang I’ve never been so annoyed with a character like I was Rhett. It’s one thing to be wary and cautious but it’s another thing to just be plain old hateful to somebody. He was next level, IMO.
I’m also very surprised none of them said “I love you” at all during this entire story. A lot of forced proximity romances they fall in love quite quickly. But this one was actually very realistic timeline wise, which was appreciated. Sometimes the love bombing can be cringy, but with their secrets and everything they had going on, It’s obvious they had other things to worry about.
Lastly, the bonus chapter- great ending. However, I wish we would’ve gotten more information in regards to what Callie is doing now. The author mentioned in one sentence about the non-profit organizations they created. But in the epilogue, Callie mentions helping Kai write his cookbook for people off the grid, and Griffin informs her that Elijah wants her help writing his memoir. Did any of that ever happen? I mean it was 5 years later, I wasn’t ready for it to end, and I wanted the info! 🤣 does she still do journalism? Did the story about the evil company blow up and was she included in any of the stories other than the initial article she wrote? Did she receive any offers from outlets to come work for them (that she’d obviously turn down for her men)? It felt mundane, and boring. But the news she dropped on them was a happy one and I loved the guys’ responses, even Rhett’s. I would have just loved to know more about their lives. Because for 5 years later, it just felt like if it was maybe even the next day or following week in the story. It didn’t give future aspect, but it was still nice to get a bonus scene.
Spice was 🌶️🌶️ 2/5, the mystery and mission they were on keeps you enthralled even without the constant s*x you read in most reverse harems. It gave me more drama and thriller vibes (which I whole heartedly enjoyed) rather than a full on romance, which was fine with me.
Callie hears words but her eyes won't open. When she finally gets them open she sees four unknown men in the room with her. As they talk she relaxes a little. One of them brings her some soup. Another gets her a pain pill. As she's drifting off she remembers she was in a helicopter that crashed. She recalls that she was chasing a big story about doomsday preppers living off the grid in a remote wilderness. What she doesn't know is that these four She got an invitation to interview the multi national corporation Kore Zero. The settlment or the squatters Kore is calling them is led by Elijah Walker who claims the land was his family's land given by the government. But some of the documents from the 1800s is missing. Kore Zero wants the land because of the gold on the land. Kai is the one who found Callie and got her to their cabin and made soup for her.Griffin and Hunter are welcoming but Rhett isn't happy period. He is very suspicious. They know nothing about this woman other than she's press. These four ex SEALs are there helping the settlement run by Elijah Walker. The biggest problem for them is Callie. Why was she coming up here? They are not fans of the press. Now they need to decide what to do to help Elijah. Callie asks to take her back to the copter. There she finds out the Rhett took her files and being the way he is he accuses her of being a spy for Kore Zero. They won't listen to her. They go back and forth with Rhett being the most obnoxious out spoken one condemning her. In between the attacks from him she gets to know the other men. At one point Griffin asks her if her pilot was skilled. That makes her think back to phone calls her editor and the tension in his voice. It's possible the crash was sabotaged. Her scoop is putting a target on her back. The guys need to get her down to Elijah. Kai is the first to have her. He promises to be there for her. After Callie heads to bed the guys get together and Kai tells them he slept with her. Hunter was trying to come up with a way to do that. When Rhett does his poisoness words Kai says he's using that because he's pulled to Callie. In fact Kai tells them he knows all four of them are drawn to her. He feels they should all pursue as a unit. Ok Callie is coming to grips with being a target for the Kore Zero what will she do when discovers these four men want her together. How will this effect her investigation? Will it? And will they be able to keep her safe? A fascinating story of a woman who's never felt she fits in with anything now feeling like she fits with these four men. She strong and independent and takes a stand and follows through on it. Go Callie!.

Brooklyn Cox delivers a scorching, adrenaline-fueled romance with Snowed In with Four SEALs, and I was hooked. Stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with four dangerously irresistible ex-Navy SEALs? Yes, please. Add in the tension of survival, hidden pasts, and the kind of forced proximity that practically crackles with heat, and you’ve got a book that’s impossible to put down.
Our heroine starts off fighting for her life after a helicopter crash, only to find herself fighting a different kind of battle—one against undeniable attraction. Each of the four men brings something unique to the table, and I loved how their distinct personalities played off each other. Griffin, the stoic leader, oozes strength and command. Kai’s easy charm and hidden wounds tugged at my heart. Hunter had me grinning with his flirtatious teasing, but it’s his fierce protectiveness that stole my breath. And Rhett? Broody, intense, and impossible to ignore—his presence alone was enough to make the pages burn.
The tension builds beautifully, not just in the slow-burn chemistry but in the underlying danger that keeps them all on edge. As secrets unravel and the storm outside rages, the emotional stakes soar. This isn’t just a steamy, snowed-in fantasy (though trust me, it delivers on that front too)—it’s a story about trust, healing, and finding unexpected love in the most dangerous circumstances.
If you love protective, possessive heroes, forced proximity, and a heroine strong enough to handle them all, Snowed In with Four SEALs is the perfect why-choose romance to heat up your winter reading list.

I was like all against harem romance or reverse harem romance …whatever it’s called but this writer has me opening my eyes again to it …maybe it’s her writing style but whatever you want to call it I definitely like it and intend to keep my eye on this new to me author ….now a favorite to me author haha ❤️ yay! Stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a helicopter crash, investigative journalist Callie (h) wakes up in the care of four ex-Navy SEALs—Griffin (H), Kai (H), Hunter (H), and Rhett (H). But these men aren’t just rugged survivalists; they’re hiding a dangerous secret. As Callie recovers, she realizes she’s stumbled into a high-stakes battle between the SEALs and a ruthless corporation which will stop at nothing to cover up its crimes. As Callie recovers, the tension in the cabin builds. Kai, the nurturing protector, is the first to soften toward her, offering quiet kindness and care. Hunter, the charming flirt, teases her at every opportunity but makes it clear he sees her as more than just a passing guest. Griffin, the disciplined leader, watches her carefully, trying to determine if she’s a threat. And Rhett, the brooding and distrustful one, outright resents her presence, convinced she’s a liability. But as the storm outside traps them together, the heat between them grows, leading to unexpected alliances, fierce loyalty, and undeniable attraction. When the corporation makes its move, Callie and the men must fight for survival, uncovering shocking truths that could change everything. In a world of danger, deception, and desire, Callie isn’t just writing the story—she’s living it. And she has to decide if she’s willing to risk everything for the men who have become more than just her protectors.
Callie, an Investigative journalist, is chasing her next story and, hopefully, her big break. She is meeting Elijah, who has land deep in the mountains and is in a legal dispute with Kore Zero, who says they have a claim on the land.
But things go badly when the helicopter crashes and she is saved by 4 former Navy Seals living off the grid near the crash site.
Griffin, Rhett, Hunter, and Kai have secrets, so they are wary when discovering who and what Callie is.
The men find they are attracted to Callie but Rhett holds himself more than the others because of demons in his past.
Gradually, their walls come down, and they let Callie in. Callie wants to prove to the men that she is not some damsel in distress. She can stand beside them and fight against Kore Zero's heavy-handed, unethical tactics. But the men also have a reason for going after them, going back to their mission days.
The men and Callie need to respect, trust, and let each other in. Deal with the ongoing threat, and bring down this company, so they can have their lives back. Trust is earned through actions and Callie proves to her men, that she will always be by their sides and fight with them.

It's hard to describe the medium for me with this one. It felt like there was a decent plot without an absorbent amount of smut but it also felt as though once it got to the smutty parts, they were far more... overdone? Than they needed to be. Now, I can understand that there are some people who enjoy that sort of writing, which is why I did not completely put this book down to a lower score, because it IS what others get into.
Now the basic gist of the story is journalist meets 4 seals when her plane crashes down into their wooded area during a snow storm. After the rescue, they help her to get back on her feet again, ultimately ending up all falling for her in some sense while unable to fight the feelings. She, of course, falls for them in turn, leading to one crazy situation where one woman is situated between all four men in a whole lot of hot fun. This on top of the crazy story that she is persuing, which could get her killed, while they protect her from the bad guys who might have taken her helicopter down? Everything hits hard and just keeps coming!
mountain man romance. (reverse harem) Callie is a young journalist who has the subject of the century, she decides to interview a family who lives isolated in the mountains after a multinational company threatens them. while she takes the helicopter to go to the mountains she is the victim of an accident which causes the death of her pilot. when she wakes up after the crash she finds herself in a cabin surrounded by former SEALs. There is Griffin the leader of the group, Kai the charmer, Hunter who is ready to do anything to protect his family and Rhett who is more mysterious and suspicious. but while she finds herself stuck in the cabin with her four men the heat rises between them. unfortunately the secrets of the four men threaten them more and more. the secrets of the four men make Callie flee or will she decide to face the danger with them and maybe live a beautiful story ...

Callie wakes up following a helicopter crash to find herself snowed in with three hulking gruff ex navy SEALs.
Griffin, clearly the one in charge is a calming influence. Kai is a teasing flirt. Whilst Rhett is a grumpy harsh individual who is all to ready to believe the worst in her. All three have issues from their past that colour their present personalities.
Once the amnesia from the crash starts to clear can Callie trust these men with her assignment and can they trust she is genuinely on the right side. Add in a vicious corporate group of individuals set on wiping out all opposition and the stakes are high.
Another awesome forced proximity why choose from this author. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I enjoyed the way the book started and the story evolved with the men. Callie survived a helicopter crash and was rescued by four ex-seals Kai, Hunter, Griffin, & Rhett. Callie was on her way to report on a story when the crash happened. Callie is now recovering with the men in their remote cabin. She starts to develop a relationship and trust with each of the men even though some took longer than others. She is willing to get to the truth and help no matter the situation. It kept me wanting the best for them and for the truth to be revealed. Their were also times I just could not put the book down waiting to see what happened next. If you like reverse harem, suspense, and a happy ending this is a read for you.
Just couldn’t put it down it was addicted and it was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat . Callie was a reporter who investigated a crash. Stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a helicopter crash, investigative journalist Callie wakes up in the care of four ex-Navy SEAL Griffin, Kai ,Hunter, and Rhett. Will someone be able to rescue her in this moment. Could she be caught in four way love triangle and she is the prize. She physical attraction to all of them and the chemistry was steamy and spicy of sexual tension. She will have to make a choice. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones
The undeniable sexual tension between these HOT characters will grip you from the moment you start reading chapter one. In fact, I have to say that I was very hooked once I saw the SEXY men on the cover and had to know their story. This is another book by Brooklyn that you will want to be reading and not putting down anytime soon. I can promise you that much. In fact, I felt kind of bad because my husband wanted to go out for dinner, and I had to finish reading this book so we ordered carryout, and we will go out for dinner tomorrow night since I finished reading this glorious hot romance book.
Who wrote this (besides the s*x scenes)? My best guess is an 8th grader with memory issues and no military knowledge. One exception: veterans don't want to be thanked for doing their job.
Editor needs to be fired. There are a lot of consistency issues.
Research military jargon and behavior as well as the prevalence of firearms in the wilds of Alaska. I cannot imagine any former special forces personnel looking at an adult and asking, "who beat you up"? Maybe if they were talking to a juvenile. Any adult should be able to realistically imagine the course language between combat brothers.
The story started it out and I thought it was on 1 track and then it switched to another track And it kept doing that through the story but it just kept me reading more Because I wanted to find out what happened. The characters were well written grumpy men happy men cooking men all in all several men that if you could lump into 1 would be the perfect man. Plus B. in sales that just added to their attractiveness. The author has a way with words that does keep you reading and and it up giving you a surprise but not quite so much of a surprise at the very end of the book.
Callie is a journalist who ventures into the Alaskan wilderness to uncover a story only to wake after her helicopter crashes. Her pilot died and she is all alone in the middle off nowhere surrounded by four rugged and handsome men. What’s a girl to do? At first, they do not trust her. Her journalism background coupled with her reasons for her story automatically make her suspicious in their eyes. But, there is no denying the friendship and chemistry that she starts to develop with each man. Will they be able to put aside their distrust and work together for a common goal? This is a full length stand alone romance. Despite being a four way romance, the author does a wonderful job intermingling the romance relationships and having the characters behave as a tight nit family. I recommend this novel for mature audiences as there is quite the abundance of very steamy and explicit sexual encounters. I received this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
- A thrilling blend of reverse harem romance, mystery, and nonstop action. Callie’s curiosity leads her into danger, but the chemistry with her four protectors keeps things sizzling. Some events feel far-fetched, but the intense suspense and well-balanced mix of substance and spice make up for it. With complex characters and an edge-of-your-seat storyline, this is an addictive and highly entertaining read.

The only survivor of a helicopter crash in the Alaskan wilderness finds that she has been rescued by four ruggedly handsome men with military backgrounds. Callie, Rhett, Hunter, Kai and Griffin are trapped in a battle for trust, lust and understanding. While this story was exciting and suspenseful, the added element of danger complicated their already fragile connection. It was a great read!.

I did love the characters. the book has two story lines, the main one and the secondary story line. I loved how this showed how each character fell in love with her but somehow I wish they showed more of Rhett with her. I understand the reasoning. That being that, i did see his like and love for her... so...
Both moves but for me halfway through it became difficult to finish. Maybe it was me, I hope so. Because it felt like the story slowed down a little bit.

Snowed In With Four Seals, by Brooklyn Cox, was not just a reverse harem romance. It contained a heavy dose of mystery and nonstop action. Callie is too nosey for her own good and gets all "apologetic" whenever caught snooping. Some of the events seemed out of place or farfetch, but overall it was an entertaining read.

I couldn't put this book down! The suspense was killing me. 100% would recommend this book all my friends and family. I have read a lot of group books, but nothing quite like this. I had to know where the book was going. Great balance of substance and spice. I'm already looking for more books by Brooklyn Cox.
She went into the mountains for a story, but found so much more.

When Callie got in the helicopter, she thought that she was going to get the story that would make her career but ended up with so much more when she was in an accident and rescued by four seals. Their dynamics was an experience to read and connect with not to mention all of the drama and suspense surrounding them. This is a well written book that kept me glued to the story.

This is book 2 of Mountain Men Why Choose and a standalone reverse harem. Take 4 alpha males and one beautiful woman that has been dropped in their laps, and you have an erotic story worth reading. I liked the plot of Callie who is rescued after the helicopter she is riding in crashes. These 4 men save her and that is when the story really begins. Happy ending guaranteed.
