Emery
A gorgeous, blood-soaked man bursting into the emergency room with an injured child in his arms is one thing.
Him seeing the bruises on my arm, kissing me, then punching my abusive fiancé, all in the same night?
That's…well, something else.

I’m a trauma surgeon. If I wanted more drama in my life, I’d work longer shifts.
Despite everything, I’m sure he's watching me.
Or I’m going crazy, which might be the better option.

Now it’s my wedding day, and who is waiting for me at the end of the aisle?
Him.
Leon Vasiliev, the ruthless bratva boss with a heart as cold as his eyes, is the sinfully handsome guy who got my heart racing.

He is obsessed with me, but he’s a walking red flag, heating my body with his skillful hands.
I can't fall for him. No way.

But I still shudder with bliss when he says, “My wife…”

Leon
One look, and that was it. Instant obsession.
Luscious curves, hypnotic eyes. Dr. Emery Bright sure lived up to her name.
Then she rolled up the sleeves of her scrubs, and I saw something that made me seethe with rage.

Now I’m holding Emery’s trembling hand, forcing my ring onto her finger.
I tell myself it’s only about vengeance, but that’s a lie.
She thinks she’s my captive, but I’m the one who’s trapped, entranced by her innocence.

So when my twisted past threatens to destroy me, I say bring it on, but my enemies better heed my warning.
Screw with me all you want. But if you touch my wife?

I won't just kill you. I'll make you beg to die.

This book!!
It's safe to say this book pulled me out of my reading slump in record speed.
Emery is a trauma surgeon and engaged to an abusive (insert derogatory word!). She's strong and I couldn't help but love her.
Leon! This man! He's all obsessive alpha and I was here for it all.
He's ruthless, dark, dangerous, possessive and bloomin gorgeous.
The chemistry and intensity between these two was perfection.
Cara Bianchi never fails to deliver a captivating well written story full of banter, emotion, action & spice.
I loved everything about this read from the storyline to the characters. Simply amazing!

This book was so good and cute and funny in the beginning, but it just got so…boring. I was having so much fun reading this book and was literally giggling and squeeling, but around the 45% mark it just go so boring. Like Leon is supposed to be the Bratva Pakhan, but he literally does not seem like the boss AT ALL!! And calling himself the Bratva boss got so annoying bc no he is actually the pakhan. Also I got literally so annoyed everytime someone called emery fat or anything like that bc I honestly thought Leon was going to beat that person up or kill them, but no he literally just like ignored it and moved on. Like Emory already has such low self esteem so the one person who is supposed to love her not sticking up for her is actually crazy. And the ending?? Idk but I would be so mad if my only best friend tried to lure me into trouble. This book was honestly ok, but got so boring I skipped around a lot. If this book was like 250 pages it would have been so much better especially with how Leon and Emory’s relationship started within the first 5 pages of the book.

Stolen by the Bratva King is an absolute page-turner that kept me hooked from start to finish! This book delivers everything you’d want in a mafia romance—passion, danger, and an all-consuming love story that makes your heart race.

First, let’s talk about the smut—it was incredibly well-written! The tension between Leon and Emery was electric, and every intimate scene felt both steamy and deeply emotional. Their chemistry was off the charts, making every moment between them feel raw and real.

I absolutely adored how the big, powerful Leon—this dangerous and feared Bratva Pakhan—became so sappy and lovey with Emery. Watching him transform from a ruthless leader into a man completely undone by love was everything. You could feel every ounce of his devotion, and it made their relationship that much more addictive.

Speaking of emotions, this book had all of them. The angst, the tenderness, the fiery passion—it was all woven together so beautifully. I felt every moment, from the heartbreak to the swoon-worthy declarations. Cara Bianchi did an incredible job making these characters come to life.

Now, onto Dante—ugh, I hated him. His manipulative, power-hungry ways had me wanting to throw my book across the room. His deceit and thirst for control made him the perfect villain, and I loved how his actions pushed the story forward in such a gripping way.

And then there’s the ending with Desi… My heart swelled. Without giving anything away, it was such a beautiful and fitting conclusion, and it left me feeling so satisfied.

While this is considered a dark mafia romance, I personally didn’t find it as dark as I expected. That being said, I wouldn’t change a thing. The balance of danger, love, and redemption was perfect. If you love mafia romances with possessive yet loving heroes, strong heroines, and a romance that makes you feel everything, then Stolen by the Bratva King is a must-read!

I was hooked in by this book right from the start, the minute I saw our Bratva king obsessed with the doctor.

This book is so intense in the way it starts and I was absolutely delighted to see Leon such a goner for Emery.

Our heroine is a sweet one and she has to marry a complete AH because of the deal her father has with the man. She thinks it's her fate to be tied to a man who treats her badly and doesn't even respect her.

But what she doesn't know is fate has a wild twist in mind that will not only change everything for her but give her a man she only thought would be a fantasy.

Leon is OBSESSED with his wife and I MEAN.. OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS.. CRAZY ABOUT HIS WIFE. and I was here for all of it.

Their chemistry is insanely sizzling and seriously I COULDN'T HAVE ENOUGH OF LEON AND EMERY TOGETHER.

But Emery really made me feel all emotional with how she was there for Desi, the little kid who had been dealt a bad hand by fate. But Leon saving him changed everything.

We have some really wicked twists but the highlight is Leon and Emery and the way they will make your heart race and sigh with how they are together.

Even though it was a forced marriage kinda, but the magnetic attraction between them right from the start, is so freaking hot.

That scene where Leon sneaks into her bedroom while she's.. Busy... And then he gets.. Buzy... Both on their own.. If you know what I mean. 😉.... So freaking🥵 🔥

I'm excited to read book 1 of this series as I need more. Absolutely loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️

Talk about polar opposites! Leon and Dante may both be mafia men, but they’re night and day when it comes to how they treat the woman caught between them. Leon had me hooked from the start, while Dante? Let’s just say I was practically begging for Leon to put a bullet in his head.
Emery, a skilled trauma surgeon, is used to making life-or-death decisions, but when it comes to her own life, she’s trapped. Forced into a marriage with the manipulative and abusive Dante to save her father’s business, she resigns herself to a fate she never chose. That is, until she meets Leon and he sees the bruises on her arms. And once he does? Game over. He’s not about to sit back and do nothing. What starts as a bit of morally gray stalking quickly turns into something much deeper. Leon’s mission is clear: protect Emery at all costs. Unlike Dante, who only wants to control her, Leon wants to give her everything. He’s ruthless in the underworld but shockingly tender when it comes to Emery—an irresistible contrast that makes this mafia romance stand out. What really stole my heart though was Leon’s unwavering devotion. Mafia bosses aren’t exactly known for putting their women first, but Leon shatters the mold. Yes, he’s possessive, but never forceful. He’s dangerous to his enemies but vulnerable with Emery. And that chemistry is off the charts. Their connection is intense, raw, and beautifully layered as they peel back their pasts and realize they share more than they ever imagined. Of course, no mafia romance is complete without action, danger, and a villain who refuses to go down without a fight. Dante is the perfect embodiment of a nightmare that just won’t quit, keeping the stakes high and the tension razor-sharp. Between the heart-pounding romance and edge-of-your-seat suspense, this book delivers on every level. So, if you love a dark, gripping romance with a hero who will make you swoon and a villain who will make your blood boil—grab a copy and dive in. You won’t regret it!

She is working her job as a trauma surgeon when the mysterious and good looking man brings a young boy in who is injured. She feels an immediate chemistry and is drawn to him, and when he notices the bruises on her arm and understands what they mean, he lets her know that he’s going to watch out for her. He is immediately struck by her and knows that he wants her. So when he finds the opportunity to replace himself with her abusive fiancé, he does everything in his power to make it happen. But once she realizes who he is in the power, he wields she just might go running. This is an Insta love romance for him. He falls first hard and fast. He is all in and will do anything to get her. It is an over-the-top obsessive romance from that point. Since he is the Bratva Pakhan there is also a dominant mafia drama arc that is central to the story. His passion for her was steamy and consuming. He also often displayed humor at himself and situations that lightened some of the heaviness. However, at times it came off as amateurish and it left him feeling a little flat. They eventually navigate the drama to their happily ever after. If you like a strong mafia suspense, Ark, you might really enjoy this if you prefer more with the mains and less with the drama, this might not be the story for you. There was a lot of focus on the mafia angle which got a little convoluted at times with the twists that for me didn’t necessarily improve the story.

“Stolen By The Bratva King” is the second book in the “NYC Russian Royals Series.” This is a standalone story that features an innocent surgeon who cuts through the heart of an obsessive, dangerous mafia man who'll do whatever it takes to make her his. Leon is obsessed with Emery - she will be his! Will she submit to him? You will be keep you on the edge of your seat. The twists and turns in this story will leave you breathless, with the promises of a thrilling ride!

“His eyes hold mine, daring me to look away. He’s so close I can feel the warmth radiating from his body. He traces a finger along my collarbone, and I close my eyes, the gentleness at odds with the intensity rolling off him.

Without waiting for permission, he leans in, capturing my mouth. His lips are firm and insistent, his hands warm as they slide up my back, tangling in my hair. I gasp, and he takes the opportunity to deepen the kiss, his tongue teasing mine.”

The story is full of passion, intrigue, betrayal, vengeance, power, control, twists and turns around every corner - most of all love ♥️ There is never a dull moment - you will be hooked! The book goes through moments of the thoughts or possibilities that it could happen to, to extreme violence to the most beautiful tender moments! I’m very happily hooked! I did not want it to end! From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put it down - you will metaphorically be on the edge of your chair! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Emery is a trauma doctor engaged to someone her dad basically pawned her off on. She meets Leon when he brings in a bloodied child to the ER. She doesn't ask a lot of questions because he gives off that aura of a dangerous man. He's instantly curious and smitten. He sees bruises on her arms as she's washing up and waits in the parking lot for her fiancé to show up. I loved that part. I love a man that sticks up for abused women. He basically steals her out from under Dante, the shitty fiancé, by blackmailing her father. I thought Emery's dad got off too easily considering he all but sold his daughter off to not one, but two men with less than virtuous morals. She just forgives him. Leon and Emery get married and Dante slinks off to lick his wounds.

I didn't really like Emery. She veered into TSTL territory more often than not. She knows she's in danger. She knows Dante is a POS human trafficker who won't lay low for long. She knows Leon is head of the NY branch of the bratva. But she still sneaks off to be an independent woman and gets caught up in the middle of their crap. She also pushed and pulled Leon around too much.

Leon came off as weak. He was sarcastic and funny, which I loved, but not head of the bratva material. I need to read Roman's book to find out when and how the reins changed hands. The ending was kinda predictable but I liked it the best.

Just...wow. This was incredible from the first page to the last. My stomach was in knots, I was anxious, angry, near tears, swooning, and a little overheated just to describe a few of the many emotions I felt while reading this.
Emery is a first year emergency medicine resident who just happens to be the one to receive the case of a boy that a very gorgeous, dark, and mysterious man brings into the ER for treatment. Leon is immediately intrigued by Emery's intelligence, skill, caring nature, and beauty. He becomes a man obsessed, even before seeing the bruises on her arms. That seals the deal and he just can't leave her alone. Getting Emery away from her current abusive fiancee would be a challenge he was willing to accept. She tries to fight her growing attraction to Leon, but he is everywhere, and as a Bratva Pakhan he is incredibly persuasive.
The plot flowed so seamlessly with twists and turns I was unable to put this down once I started. Cara Bianchi did an amazing job of developing not just the main characters, but the side characters as well so it really pulls you into the story.
I just cannot say enough to express how good this book really is. I highly recommend picking this up and getting started. Just clear your calendar because you will not want to stop once you start.
This was an advanced copy for review in exchange for my honest feedback.

Stolen by the Bratva King written by Cara Bianchi.
If you love “insta-love” mafia romance then you’ve found the right book!
Mrs. Bianchi has a way of writing that grabs you from the beginning of the story and takes you on a roller coaster of a ride.
Emery is a trauma doctor, we figure out early on that she is engaged to a very abusive man. Although she comes from money, her fiancé has seen to it that it’s in her father’s best interest to make sure the wedding takes place.
One busy night at the hospital in walks Leon, our bratva pakhan, he is carrying a young boy that was caught in the cross fire of a gun fight. Once the little boy is stabilized Emery approaches Leon and they both feel the instant attraction.
This is where our story begins.. Leon witnesses Dante being abusive to Emery and an entire plan unravels to save Emery, destroy Dante and stop the wedding.
But this plan doesn’t go as smoothly as Leon thinks it will and Dante isn’t going to go down easily.
We all carry burdens from our pasts and painful memories that can resurface, but what happens when ghosts from the past come back to exact revenge?

I've always enjoyed mafia type novels, however, lately I feel a lot of them are just the same concepts. Cara Biachi made this novel different and interesting. I liked all parts of it, and the drama lasted throughout the novel. The ending was short without being rushed, for me. Hands down, the best part was Desi. A close runner up was Leon, just because he is such a epic dirty talker. I think Leon's best quote was: "Stand up and sit on it." I also think a drinking game could be played based on how many times Leon used the words slut in a sexy way.

Emery was engaged to a different made man. Leon meets her at her hospital. Leon is obsessed with Emery right away. When Leon found out Emery was engaged to be married in about a week, Leon decides to take Emery for himself.

As is typical for these type of books, Leon can't force Emery to love him. Emery has to get to that point on her own, or leave Leon all together. There was so much drama and good storylines throughout this whole book. It really added to Emery and Leon's stories. As Leon said, love saves everything, and in this case it saved everyone that mattered.

Stolen By The Bratva King: A Forced Marriage Mafia Romance is the second book in the NYC Russian Royals Duet by Cara Bianchi.

This book is an actioned filled mafia romance and it page-turner from the first page. This is the story of Leon (MMC) and Emery (MFC). Leon is Bratva Pakhan who is extremely powerful and dangerous. Emery is a trauma surgeon and meets Leon when he brings a young boy into the hospital who is injured. They have an immediate attraction to one another. Unknown to Leon, Emery is an abusive marriage to Dante whom she was forced to marry to save her father’s business. Although Dante and Leon are both mafia men, they operate very differently.
The chemistry between Leon and Emery is off the chain HOT!!!🔥🔥🔥The feelings that Leon has for Emery are off the chain and show the warmer side of him. How their love unfolds is fun to read.

Dante is the perfect villain and keeps the story moving as he keeps plotting and trying to destroy everyone and everything. It is a perfect contrast to Leon.
I really enjoyed reading this book.

I absolutely loved this it’s a spicy age gap, mafia dark romance with mild stalking and instant obsession. After bringing in an injured kid to the hospital, Leon leaves determined to help the doctor he met out of her abusive relationship and obsessed with making her his even if he has to play dirty. I enjoyed these characters Emery is a sweet and passionate doctor, naive but determined with a heart of gold. I loved seeing her come into her own and spread her with Leon’s help and giving her a safe space to explore her wants and desires after being put down for so long. Though she did frustrate a tad when she would compare Leon to her ex in some instances. I loved Leon he’s become a favorite MMC for me he was funny, so sweet to Emery and I loved seeing how determined he was to uplift her, help her see herself the way he did and that there was nothing she needed to change about herself just embrace who she was. It was so good seeing them help each other heal from past guilt they’ve held since they were children and fix strained family relationships. I loved their ending I’m so glad Leon was able to finally resolve a decades old trauma and that they were able to start a family I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Emery is a trauma surgeon and meets Leon, who is part of the Bratva, when he brings in an injured child. He notices an engagement ring on her finger and bruises on her arm when she rolls up her sleeve. He is instantly mad that he's hurting her and vows to watch out for her.

Leon instantly falls for her, steals her away from her fiance, Dante, and marries her. He is protective throughout the book, but I felt his dominant nature waned a bit, and he felt a little more Beta than Alpha. Emery is independent and likes to be in charge of her life. Their chemistry is strong, and it develops throughout the book, leading to some pretty spicy scenes.

Emery's ex-fiance and father aren't willing to let things slide, causing trouble for the two of them. The book contains action, mystery, and suspense, which makes it exciting to read!

Stolen By The Bratva King is part of the NYC Russian Royals series. This novel is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Cara Bianchi. This is the first story I have read by this author and I was completely blown away by the amazing story. The characters are fantastically written and beautifully executed throughout the story. Stolen By The Bratva King follows the journey of Emery and Leon. I loved getting to know both of these characters as well as seeing their journey come to life through the pages of this amazing mafia romance. The chemistry between Emery and Leon is absolutely breathtakingly amazing and undeniably irresistible. I can’t wait to read more fantastic romances from Cara Bianchi in the future. Stolen By The Bratva King is a mafia romance that I would encourage other readers to checkout and give it a read. Emery is a trauma surgeon with an independent personality who is being forced to marry her father’s scheming, slimy business partner when she meets Leon who brought an injured child into her ER. It’s insta live on Leon’s part and he just has to have her by any means necessary, even if it means taking her soon to be groom’s place at the altar and money is no object.

As the story progresses we watch Emery come into her own and stand up for what she wants while her cinnamon roll, touch her and die husband falls more and more in love. Emery is initially resistant to her husband and sort of frustratingly puts herself in the middle of some dangerous situations. Thankfully her husband is head over heels for her and comes to save her.

The spice is fantastic and gets even better as the chemistry develops between these two. The way he adores every inch of her curves and makes sure she knows it was so so hot. The mirror scene is something I will think about for a very long time.

Leon meets Emery when he brings a kid with a bullet wound to the Hospital and she is near the end of her shift. She takes charge and starts to work on the kid and get him help. Leon is instantly taken by Emery there is something about her that captures his attention and in her doing some work around him her sleeve moves up and exposes the bruises on her wrists. He goes into instant protective mode and starts looking into her Fiancé as well as following her after work to make sure she is ok. Leon ends up manipulating things to take over her wedding and marries her. The way this couple comes together was such a joy to read and how Emery ends up bringing his Bratva family closer together and the way they grow closer and their relationship develops is a lot of fun to read as well everything that develops that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I loved every moment of this book and can't wait to see what's next from this author.

Absolutely wonderful book. Emery and Leon were such a great couple. You could tell Leon had an amazingly sweet heart under it all, and he was so right for Emery.

Doctor Emery was on duty when Bratva King Leon brings in a wounded boy and takes an instant like to her. When he learns she has an abusive fiancee, he goes to do something about it.

Leon was alpha, possessive and very stubborn but when he loved someone, they came first on all fronts and that was what Emery was for him. She was a stubborn woman but instantly attracted to him, though the attention helped to build the relationship.

These two sure had the chemistry. And the added characters were so important to the story. Both old and new were the best.

So well written. Kudos to this author and I'm loving the series immensely. Loaded with suspense, danger and drama wrapped in a steamy romance. Just such a fantastic read! I highly recommend it!

Wow, this was an absolutely amazing book to read I was hooked from the start until the very end, the story was written well and the characters were sensational. This story is about Emery, and Leon Vasiliev, Emery, is a gorgeous trauma surgeon, she had a young boy with a bullet in him. She is engaged to be married and on her wedding day she was surprised what she saw. Leon Vasiliev, is a ruthless, cold hearted and brutally dark bratva boss and is really gorgeous. Leon has become obsessed and very protective of Emery so when he sees her arms things have to change. When she has come out of surgery Leon is transfixed by her beauty and went to the end of the aisle at her wedding he was very pleased the ring fit. The chemistry was spicy hot, steamy.

This has to be Cara's best book yet! The characters, the plot, the twist, every word in this story had me deeply immersed until I turned the last page.

Leon's immediate obsession for Emery flipped her life upside down but in a way she never truly fought. She knew from that first encounter that he was different even with his red flags.

Their story moves rapidly and is oh so hot! I loved that she wasn't a perfect size 0, long legged model type and that he worshipped that fact with every look and touch and made her feel comfortable in her skin and grow her confidence. He truly fell for her mind, body and soul and it consumed him enough to but his Bratva 2nd to his wife!

I knew the darkness of the book was yet to come but putting the pieces together when it all came out, I never saw coming and knew I had to keep reading until it was finished.

From the first moment that Leon walked into Emery's emergency room, he was hooked. The cheeky response Leon gave Emery when she asked if he was injured, and he put his hand over his heart and gave Emery a smirk was hilarious. Even I would have fallen for his charm right then and there.

"That beautiful angel will be mine"

Um, hello. Can we talk about the scene where Leon sneaks into Emery's bedroom and lays on the floor next to her bed while she is in the "moment", and he has his own "moment" with her!

"She's already mine in ways she doesn't understand yet"

Every moment after that got hotter. Lean breaking down and getting emotional because of Desi reminding him of his childhood. Ooh, this broke my heart and brought me closer to Leon. I absolutely LOVE Leon. Emery is one lucky woman.

Wow this is a very well written storyline ! I love how possessive - almost stalkerish that Leon is although he fully redeems himself when he brings out his romantic charm. He has met his match In Emery ( independent & hard working trauma surgeon)

I highly recommend this read.

I received Stolen By The Bratva KIng from the author and this is an honest review !

Leon was hooked on Emery the moment he met her and I was just as hooked on Leon! Leon and Emery together - those hooks are never coming out!

I was expecting a deep, dark mafia book, but it was more in the dark grey, not black part of the scale for me. Many moments of humour and cuteness I wasn’t expecting to have much of and I loved it so much. It helped with the character development and bond between the two main characters. Moments of tenderness, tension and spice were so well done and helped move the story forward. A few times I felt it was lagging and could move a little faster, but it was so minuscule that it didn’t get boring for me.

A few unexpected surprises and the ending got me all in my feelings.

A great second book that was so well written and engaging.

I am quite surprised at the 4 and 5 star rating for this book. The whole insta love forced marriage stuff might have been the only good part of this story. I felt that there was no character development nor a plot beyond that. Why do we need Dante's POV. It doesn't add anything to the story. In fact it negatively affects the book.

Also Leon's POV was too mushy. It didn't feel like I was reading a Pakhan's POV. More so, the whole climax wasn't as effective as it should have been. Honestly I skipped pages to reach the end.

What I did like was Emery's struggle with her body. There are cruel people like Dante who can make you feel bad about how you look. So, Leon did well on that part. Otherwise, everything was too rushed and disjointed to enjoy.

The first part where shes doc with abusive fiancee and hes the bratva Pakhan doing his specialty to have her, was good.
But then it turn... Sappy plot.
Leon loosing his alpha-ness, unless in segs area.
Emery wallow in self pity, too much.

I'm all about the hard man turn goey for his woman, but for him to drown in wallow and not function as The Pakhan, is a turn off.

And the - i'm strong and capable woman, you cant put me in a cage and clip my wing- spell was stupid. Emery sounds like a brat putting her self in danger just to maintain her independence?! Yeah, no.

Working as an ER Trauma Doctor, Emery meets Leon while saving a child. Attraction ignites instantly! However, Emery is soon to be married to a less than ideal man in a business proposition for her father’s company. As Pakhan for the Bratva, if Leon wants something, he takes it. Now with Emery as his bride, they must find a way to make their relationship work. But it seems danger is never far away. This was a great read!! The bond between Leon and Emery is fantastic! There is no shortage of humor and fast paced action in this story. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.
