Thank you Ashlen for allowing me the opportunity to read this arc, I am so thankful.
There is a lot I could say about this book, but I’ll start with, if you love mafia, enemies to lovers, and a morally grey MMC this is the book for you! It was fun and flirty and had a good girl who falls for the bad boy.
It is the second in a series of six, following love and greed and I enjoyed it, I have to now go back and read the first. I am not normally a mafia girl, and there a couple things I didn’t love, but I’m also just really picky, but won’t spoil that on here.
I loved sienna from the start, she was a take no shit kind of girl, and I love that.
Felix is your typical playboy gone semi soft when he meets the girl of his dreams and won’t take no for an answer.
Spice: 🌶️.5 (lots more tension and buildup which I appreciate)

Well what can I say I love this book so much and Felix he's the best morally Grey and well funny lol THANK YOU so much Ashlen for letting me be your beta reader, it was the best feeling ever to be part of this books journey with you all the laughs we had while you were writing this book. I love how sienna is a strong woman she takes no bs. And Felix is a teddy bear with her. I thought I was in love with Dom I mean I still am but Felix took the cake lol.
If you love mafia, enemies to lovers this book is for you.
My favorite parts are Felix and the syphilis haha or
Lay off the sodium. Your cranky cankles will thank you later lol.
The spice in this book is good the tension 100% recommend but please start with her first book although the are interconnected standalone you should experience Dominic's and Elena's story.

Just wrapped up Love & Obsession by Ashlen McCracken, the second installment in the Ruthless Heart series, and it’s a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me! This enemies to lovers tale delves into the tumultuous relationship between Sienna and Felix. Their banter is electric, making every interaction a delightful push and pull that kept me hooked. Felix embodies the mortal gray golden retriever, while Sienna’s resilience and strength shine through. The slow burn tension and palatable chemistry between them are undeniable. If you’re a fan of mafia romances with strong character dynamics and witty exchanges, this one is for you. A heartfelt thank you to Ashlen McCracken for the ARC! I’m eagerly anticipating the next in the series!

I’m an arc for the third book and I wanted to read the first and second in the series first. I’m not a fan of the writing honestly. I like that the author gives us both sides of the story but I feel like it’s a lot of repeating. Also why did the character hate him so much it this book? The characters are surface level and would’ve like more about them. I tried but I couldn’t connect. I like to experience the emotions in books and I feel like this one just tells me how she feels. Was it bad? No just not for me.

I just finished an ARC copy of this book. This book is so good. Felix and Sienna are the perfect enemies to lovers. There’s so much chemistry and heat between them.🌶️ I recommend starting with the first book and then going into this one. But both are amazing 10 out of 10. ✨❤️
