This book WAS SOMETHING ELSE… OH MY FUCKING GOD! UUGGGHHH!

We meet Athena, who has just witnessed something that she never thought she would in her entire life. Her male best friend Charlie and THE FACT THAT SHE HAS BEEN GETTING OFF TO HIM WITHOUT KNOWING! Her bestie Charlie is a cam guy and… OH MY WORD! CCHHAARRLLIIEEEEE!

Their story is FILLED TO THE BRIM *smirk* with ALL of the spicy goodness as well as CUTE AS FUCK vulnerable moments that made my heart MELT! And you BET there was some crazy plot twist shit going on that I COULD NOT EVEN with! Not to mention, some shady shit going on with a few certain someone’s who I wanted to smack around myself. However, we ALSO get to see the rest of the gang from the previous Club Radiant books PLUS some newbie faces which I hope we are able to get their stories soon! Overall, this was a WILD FUCKING RIDE and I DEFINITELY WAS NOT EXPECTING most of what happened to happen!

Pornstar by Emilia Rose is the story of Charlie and Athena. They’ve been best friends for years. But, things are changing now. She’s studying to sit for the Bar Exam…he’s currently a pornstar. This one was kinda tough for me to get through. I didn’t care for the characters much and honestly, saw zero connection between them. This is really odd because I love this author a lot!!

Still, it was a good read! Liked the story line. The antagonists were REALLY awful…despicable even. But, there’s the HEA everyone hopes for in a romantic story!!! 3.5 stars

I liked how this book went straight into the dilemma that Athena had over finding out her best friend was the pornstar she’d been watching online. No build up necessary, and the backstory of their friendship and how they felt about each other was worked in very well throughout the book.

As soon as Charlie had Athena once, he made it clear she was his and only his. But neither of them made their feelings clear, leading to a lot of confusion for each of the characters which lead to misunderstandings and drama.

I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but recognised other characters from the sneak peeks I’ve had on Ream, or through the Emilia Rose newsletter. They were woven in effortlessly.

The story had a lot of drama and tension, mostly because of Dereks interference. But also because of Athena’s insecurities and not thinking she was good enough for Charlie due to his vast experience.

There were shocking moments, especially around the obsession Charlie’s family had with Athena. Passionate and erotic moments between Charlie and Athena…particularly when they were filming videos or were in club radiant. Funny moments like them waking up married, Michelle telling Charlie how people would be more interested in him now because he was married, Michelle’s office encounter, or Heathers protective streak and how she’s not worried about the consequences of “taking care of” Nadia or Derek.

Overall an amazing story, plenty of SMUT which is a must from Emilia Rose!

This book is an absolute must-read! I couldn't put down this brilliant addition to the Club Radiant Series, Pornstar, which focuses on Athena and Charlie.

The connection between the main characters, Charlie and the shy, adorable, and slightly awkward Athena, is electric and spicy. I was instantly invested in their story, especially after the truth about their mutual crush came out. While I adored Charlie and Athena, his family was less likable.

The story is a page-turner with a strong, suspenseful plot that features several twists. It seamlessly blends raw emotion, danger, and great humour, thanks in part to Athena's wonderful group of friends. The characters are compelling, making it easy to feel deeply connected to them.

Like the first two books in the series, Sex Education (Sierra & Steven) and Bound by my Father's Best Friend (Heather & Hector), this instalment is gripping. It successfully combines suspense, danger, heartfelt moments, and hot encounters, maintaining a strong storyline from start to finish.

I highly recommend this beautiful friends-to-lovers romance and the entire Club Radiant Series. If you haven't read the first two books, I strongly encourage you to do so!

Wow - I really wanted to 5 star this story because I loved Charlie and Athena and their friends to lovers dynamic so much. However, there is a scene that starts at chapter 42 and continues for several chapters. There seriously needed to be a trigger warning about this scene, either at the chapter beginning or at the beginning of the book. It nearly made me want to stop reading at that point, but as this isn't my first book from this author, I knew that she'd make it right and that the characters would get through it someway, somehow. But boy was it rough riding it out with them. Other than that part, the book was full of love towards each other, had a kick-a** group of friends (Heather is the bomb-diggity) and was so steamy I might have burnt my hands holding the book. While there are two epilogues (both great) - I would love to see one more epilogue that showed a spicy scene of them in the future. It would let me know that all truly was okay after the incident at the end of the story.

In this super hot and wonderfully told story of Athena and Charlie, we dive into the tale as old as time of two friends who have had feelings for each other since forever, but were too scared to ruin the beautiful friendship they had already built. What is so funny is Athena always believed Charlie to be your typical Golden Retriever... but it turns out he was hiding his very dark and dirty side all along. After Charlie finds out that Athena knows his secret, they begin their journey of finding their way into an actual relationship which will have its many ups and downs, and our girl Athie will get the pleasure of being on the receiving end of Charlie's dirty dominant side. We also get to see the return of some of the previous characters from this series that make this story so much fun as we enjoy this journey! Also, please read the trigger warnings at the start of the book. There are some hard to read parts that are pertinent to the storyline. Happy reading... but be sure to do it in private because it's extremely spicy!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Another brilliant addition to the Club Radiant Series, If you haven't read the first two books Sex Education (Sierra & Steven) & Bound by my Father's Best Friend (Heather & Hector) I would highly recommend that you do.
Pornstar is about Athena & Charlie but also contains most of the other characters from the first two books. As with the other stories in this collection I couldn't put this book down. It has everything from suspense, danger, raw emotions, great humour, hot and spicy encounters and is also heart warming, with a strong storyline from start to finish along with strong characters, you can help but get totally engrossed in it.
I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Pornstar, the next book in the Club Radiant series, delivers a compelling best friends to lovers romance that nearly rivals Sex Education as my top favorite Emilia book. The story follows Athena and Charlie after Athena discovers Charlie’s online work *waves hand on face to cool off*. There’s tension and emotional vulnerability that forces both of them to confront feelings they have avoided.

Emilia blends intensity and emotion beautifully, creating a romance that feels both passionate and heartfelt. Charlie’s confidence is balanced with genuine care, while Athena’s journey is filled with growth and honesty. Their connection feels natural and deeply earned, making Pornstar a strong and memorable addition to the series that keeps both the heart and emotions fully engaged.

Oh my goodness. This book is so very good. I absolutely loved Charlie and Athena. His family not so much.
I literally could not stop reading this story. Especially once they both knew the truth about each other's crush.
There are a few twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. It's suspenseful, emotional, there is danger, great humor among her and her friends. Very strong plot with strong characters that you can't help but love and feel connected to. Loved their spicy connection.
Athena is so cute, she's shy and sort of awkward. But totally loves Charlie as much as he loves her.
She has the best group of friends a girl could ask for.
This is a total must read for me. I highly recommend this very beautiful friends to lovers romance.
Now I need to go and read the first two books in this series.

Pornstar is the third book in the Club Radiant series by Emilia Rose! This series just keeps getting better and better. I devoured this book and the two epilogues; I still want more though.

I loved Charlie and Athena. They are best friends turned lovers with a lot of steamy scenes between them. The dynamics between them were perfect. I was not expecting the family drama and the unexpected twists but I really enjoyed the drama it added.

I can’t wait for more in this series!

Welllll, I'm sure you guessed it by the name what this story is about! 😂😂😂😂 Annnddd, of course the smut was smutting in this one! And, I can't lie I was NOT expecting some of the things that happened in this one. They definitely catch you off guard...like you KNOWWWW they're just total scumbags. But then the things happen, and you're like "OMG!!!" Then the best friends come in riding for our FMC and totally SMASSHHH it!!! Goooo Heather!!! She can be my BFF ALLLL DAYYY!!!! I had a great time with this adventure and I can't wait to see what happens nest with this circle of friends!!!

I rated this book at a 4 out of 5. If I could give it a 4.5, I would. It starts out strong and fast. I certainly didn't expect everything that happened and the twists and turns. The title alone is a good peek at what you'll be reading, but a little deceiving because there is so much more story to the book. Truthfully, a good book that I couldn't put down and I finished in less than 24 hours.

Like most of the Emilia Rose books I've read, Pornstar is a fast, fun, and easy read with emotional depth, lots of drama, and a little suspense (the second half gets dark!). Athena and Charlie are likable and relatable characters whose evolution from longtime best friends to almost-accidental lovers is adorably sweet, and I love not only the chemistry but also the caring between them, which really made the instalove vibes work well for me. The ending is everything I wanted it to be and made me excited to read more books in the Club Radiant series.

Mind Trip

What I did not expect to find with this story was a thriller wrapped into the romance and spicy. However, it was like a brain teaser that kept me heart pumping and mind racing. Charlie and Athena are end game but to get there was a challenge where obstacles kept coming at them. I loved how Charlie did not give up in showing her how he was always going to come for her. This was a fantastic read.

What would you do if you found out your best friend and roommate was a p*rn star? Not only that but the one you had taken up watching because you were in love with said roommate and didn't feel like you were on his level.
Well that's how Athena discovers Charlie is her favorite p*rn star when she recognizes his bedroom on a live stream.
As part of the Club Radiant Series the girls are all back to not only support Athena but push her along. And if you've read any of the other books when they are together they are hilarious especially Heather who is relentless. Hector, Stephen and Michelle of course will be there with the club being a major backdrop. With the spice factor being high there must be drama which almost all comes with Charlie's brother Derek who is constantly up to no good. There isn't a dull moment throughout the book. There are some tender moments, heartfelt, heartbreak, hilarious, vulnerable, so many emotions, plenty of action, of several varieties. There are also some things that may be triggering for some readers so please be aware.
Overall I enjoyed the story and the characters there are a few elements I could do without that I'm sure others will undoubtedly enjoy. Which is exactly why there are places like Club Radiant. 😉

Do all friends of the opposite sex have a hidden desire for each other? I mean, I guess it is kind of hard not to want someone after watching them use their goodies. But that only explains Athena's fascination. Charlie's feelings come out of nowhere but are amazing. I hate his family though. You'll see why when you get into this must-read.

I could not put down Athena and Charlie's story. It was swoonworthy. Their love story is very emotional with a lot of secrets, drama and spice that kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved their relationship. It was sweet, deep and very complex. I wanted them to end up together and that things would work well for them right from the start. This book will make you clutch your pearls with delight!
