A Decent Ending.
This story picks up right where the last book left off. Monique is kidnapped and Raz is injured, will he get her back? And if he does will their relationship be the same?
I really enjoyed the third act of this book as we finally get Raz and Monique together finally and Monique has come into her own. But I wasn’t a fan of them not being together for 60% of the book. I know this was a journey for them but I wanted more then growing together.
But poor Cas! I just love him and life was not quite kind to him.
Overall this was enjoyable and good ending to the story. 3.75 stars.

Exciting conclusion
I followed this story as it progressed on Kindle Vella, and what an exciting way to show how serious Orazio Cattaneo was about his woman Monique Rose. What started out as an instant attraction that created an unusual contract, grew into a full novel about the dismantling of the old Cattaneo guard, and the birth of a new Cattaneo Don with his newly formed family.
There is love, hate, heartbreak, family disloyalty, that also includes lots of hot sex scenes as well as some darkness that may leave you feeling emotional. The author takes the time to tell a story that pulls you in from the start, gets you so invested that you find yourself taking sides and pulling for characters to do whatever it takes to win.
You won't be disappointed. This is so worth every hour you commit to reading both books.
Looking forward to Julian and Stephanie's story.

The drama the drama. I love the drama
Orazio Cattaneo is miserable without his La mia Belleza. She is just as miserable without him. She's determined to use his own tactics against him to get him back. I love it when another woman thinks she is better suited for a man than the woman he has already laid claim to. The drama surrounding her making herself look silly makes for good reading. Isla Miconi really underestimated Monique Rose's capabilities. She showed everyone including Raz. She proved to him that she was more than capable of being the woman at a don's side being his donna. She was the "Lady Boss" and she proved it.
Wow, so much of the past has been revealed in this book. The story comes out about the brother's mother. But the brothers aren't having it either. Even the uncle has a hidden story. Frederico Miconi is an interesting twist. He laid his plans down hard. Monique was caught up, but her love was for the new don. The new don isn't having another man We find out how Cas and Meka met. Through all of the conspiracy with the old don, they are determined to give their relationship a try. Even Toya has her eyes on one of the Cattaneo men.

Lady Boss
This part 2 was epic. Monique and Raz went through it to be together. They had to fight the extremes for their love.
As Monique told Raz, “ don’t love me with fear in your heart . Love me unconditionally, with no fear, no jealousy, no doubt. Just love and trust. That's how I love you.”

So Exciting and Marvelous
This story was more than I expected. I really enjoyed reading this one and I know you will it enjoy also, these characters are so awesome. The story has moments where I read the paragraph more than once its so captivating. I enjoyed Monique's character she is not who you think she is at first.Oh this is so compelling with the suspense and vengeance. I absolutely found this story so captivating it pulls you in from the start of the story with all of the action it's so fantastic. Plus I enjoyed the fact that the couple has so much electricity between the two of them, and how their chemistry feels so realistic. Another thing I enjoyed besides the couple's hot chemistry is their life is full of passion with it comes the drama so hold on because it will have you on the edge of your seat, and the suspense will ignite your curiosity and more. Then there's all of the characters which are so captivating and the family is filled with drama but their relationship is unbelievable. The storyline is great with it's Mafia vibe and when you add in Orazio who is known for his temper and craziness with his dark handsome curls he take no prisoners when it comes to his woman and family. Then you have the intriguing twists they go through it will give you a awesome and pleasurable experience." There is violence but it's what makes you keep turning pages. I couldn't help but to have a sleepless night because there was no way I putting down my reader even when it powered down I read it plugged in because I couldn't stop reading until it ended. I could tell you about all the things I really enjoyed but I think when you read this you will enjoy it. But I must tell you that even at the end its awesome and absolutely enjoyable. This story had me so captivated that I was so engaged from the beginning to the end, but OMG the ending had me excited and pleased that I wanted it to last longer and if there isn't another book which I can read in this amazing story I will just start reading this one over again. This is going into the read again collection
I am enjoying these Cattaneo men, I even want one of them, the loyalty they have for their women makes me misty eye. I agree with Monique anyone can be a Mother, but it takes a lot to be a Mom, I’ll fight you over my children & grandchildren. What makes me smile I have grandchildren they will fight over me, there is 6 girls, 8 boys. I love my family, and the way these brothers & cousins Cattaneo acted there loved shined through as well. It was sad that their dad was sick in the head, at first he seemed like he really cared about his boys. The more you read the crazier the dad became, makes you want to slap him around. Can’t wait to see who all gets a story,because I’m ready to read the next one. I read the first one over to be on point for this one. Any one after I will have to reread the previous to get caught up to get into whatever new comes.

Muuuucccchh better than the first book, but still...3.5
I really did love getting to see the story unfold. Monique and Raz were a duo!!!!! Its like all the story unfolding really happens here. Not a huge fan of the books being so unequally balanced with pacing in the storyline, where you are like who/what/why??? with everything. BUT, we also get these halfarsed stories about 4 WHOLE OTHER supporting characters with a lame epilogue to give you HEAs about them...and the next book is about a random cousin mentioned once that we really don't know. I thought surely, we get Cas or Leo's full story, NOT! Who is Julian? The storyline could have been more focused on the main characters, pacing, and wrapping their story up much better without being so long to include all the stuff about other characters that we won't even get to explore🙄

Wheewww 😅 this is GOOD
I would like to say M’Renee Allen, you did your thing with this right here!!!!! I loved EVERYTHING about this book, right from the beginning…down to the end… and most definitely all in between!! This was sexy and hilarious, it was sweet then serious. This was dealing with real life issues that people really go through. I had my up’s and down’s while reading this, it was quite the journey. All’s well, that ends well and the Cattaneo men will definitely make sure of that. I’m on to my next adventure with these Alpha men who don’t play when it comes to their women.

The Drama
So much happened in this book, it was literally a rollercoaster with so many ups and downs and just outright insanity.
It was nice to see how it all played out after the cliffhanger in book one and I think it was executed really well.
*SPOILERS*
Some parts did feel very repetitive one being. When Raz and Monique where stuck at the gala due to the old don's workers, and they made a plan to use three teams to get out of their predicament - I maybe saw the words Team A, Team B and Team C 10 times. That plan was repeated so much that I just skimmed that section.

Orazio Catteno. I want one!
Orazio was no match for Monique when it came to trying to stay away from her. He tried, but my girl and her crazy band of girlfriends and Raz’s brother Cas were determined to get Monique her man back. There were a lot of moving parts, scheming enemies and wishful admirers trying to get in the way and crazy family drama to keep readers drawn in and invested in the romance between Orazio and Monique. The supporting characters were just as interesting. I highly recommend reading the entire series of the Cattaneo brothers and the women they love, stalk, kidnap and, well, you get the gist. Next comes Julien and Stefanie. I can’t wait.

Good read
I'm happy Monique turned out to be a bad ass. I really would have liked for them to have a kid together. I loved that raz was so possessive and always ready to kill, call me crazy but I think it's sexy. My heart broke for cas. Their father was a monster, and their mother a coward. I want Roman's story next. I literally waited so long for this book to come on Kindle. I started it on Vella. I ran out of tokens where Monique was plotting to kidnap roman. Amazon was no longer selling tokens due to Vella shutting down, so I was screwed 😭

Raz and Rosa so deserved this HEA 🥰🥰 So happy for Meka & Toya, they were the Ride or Die for everyone. 🤩🤩 Isla played herself and I kinda wonder if Frederico was interested or not? The Old Don, Brother & Mom deserved what they got!!!!

A Great Read🤗
This book was everything I hoped it would be.. Monique finally stepped into her purpose, and showed everyone that although her middle name is Rose, she's not some wilting flower!!!
Raz finally stopped seeing Monique as a damsel in distress and realized that she is a Lady Boss and they are stronger together than apart.
I can't wait for the next book in this series!!!!

Alright Now!!
My girl Monique was playing with fire...but I was definitely rooting for her to succeed. The book showed a much stronger version of Monique which I wax thankful for. Toya and her crazy self was..well..Toys lol. My heart hurt for Caz however, I'm glad that Meka and his brothers were there for him. Now Orazio....Lord that man is not one to mess with...love it! Well Done Ms. Allen!!

Epic crazy fun.
I thought book 1 was good, but this is book was fire. This kidnapping crime family is so lovable. Their women are even more adorable.🥰 These girls not only had fun, but they enjoyed the crazy Cattaneo men.

Love on a roller-coaster
This story is not for the weak hearted. It's for the serious person who believes in unconditional love ❤️. Sometimes men have realize that they are over thinking and need to get a woman's attention. Women just need a man to love them and focus on whats important. You need to be strong to get through this book. You will love the ending and still be in love with Raz and Monique. It is a HEA. Thank you M'Renee. Loved it story and characters.

These books have hooked me on Dark Mafia Romance! This second book in the series was way more action packed than the first. The romance was still there but with a lot of angst.
I absolutely love Monique and Raz’s story. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and has been from the beginning. I enjoyed it just as much as the first and I’m looking forward to reading the third installment when it comes out this spring.

A read as it had everything you want and need in a mafia romance novel series. I love so much I hope that the series never ends knowing that there's still so much to uncover since the Miconi family and their mother was not quite handled, Julian and Denver both have a story as well as Bryce and Tatiana would love to read them in the future...

This was a fun read😂 it continues Raz and Rose journey towards their HEA with the same highs/lows, misguided perception that gets worked out through determination of a woman that’s in love and not ready to just walk away. So what’s a girl to do? plan a kidnapping with her 2 ride or die girl friends😂😂😂

Loved it razors was crazy for his Rose. Cattanoe kidnappers would be a fitting name for these guys.

This was really good! I liked it better than Part I! I am glad that everyone got their HEA! Especially the main couple Orazio aka Raz and Monique aka Rosa! I am glad that Meka and Cas and Toya and Leo got together, too! Looking forward to the next book about cousins and their love lives!

With family like his, Raz did not have to worry about enemies.
This book began with action and it did not stop. It had so many twists and turns. I still laughed and cried.

Whew....
Rose and Caz... This 2nd installment was the culmination of their story and of some side characters... Loved how the author didn't leave any question un answered, there was a surprise that I wasn't expecting.... Overall a great duet...
