Not every hero saves you. Some heroes destroy your world—because some lines are meant to be crossed...
Tayana Kamarov has learned the hard way that bloodlines are both a blessing and a curse. Exiled from her Bratva family and haunted by the scars of a violent past, she now dedicates her life to rescuing victims from the clutches of human traffickers. Her work is dangerous, isolating, and necessary—a penance for sins she never committed but can never outrun.
Rafi Gatti thrives in the shadows, juggling his dual identity as the charming heir to the Gatti mafia empire and an undefeated underground cage fighter. In his search for Maxine Andrade, Rafi turns to the one person with the connections and knowledge to help Tayana Kamarov.
From their first encounter, sparks fly—anger, mistrust, and something far more dangerous. Tayana wants nothing to do with the cocky, lethal mafia prince who represents everything she left behind. But Rafi won’t take no for an answer, especially when it becomes clear that their goals align, and time is running out for the missing girl.
But in their world, trust is a luxury they can’t afford. With enemies closing in and betrayals lurking in every corner, Tayana and Rafi must decide what they’re willing to risk—and who they’re willing to become—for a chance at redemption, revenge, and maybe even love.
RAFI is the fourth book in the Gatti Brothers Mafia Empire series. It's a steamy dark mafia romance full of all your favorite tropes, including; forced proximity, enemies to lovers, mafia x bratva, touch her and die vibes. It's a full length novel with a HEA and sets the stage for book 1 in the spinoff series, Gatti Bloodlines. Spice level 18+. Please check the content warnings.
This series is absolutely fantastic! I love how the author crafts her male characters—they are just perfect. The bond between these brothers is incredible; they would do anything to protect one another. Despite being part of the mafia, they stand up for what’s right, which makes them even more compelling.
And their women? Each one is unique, with her own personality, secrets, and struggles, yet they are always ready to stand by their men.
Rafi’s story is no exception. As the youngest brother, his siblings tried to keep him away from the mafia world, but it's in his blood—he wants in. He’s determined to help, and to do that, he needs Tayana, the Bratva princess who wants nothing to do with his family. Her mission is clear: saving victims of human trafficking. Together, they make a formidable team. Add to that their undeniable attraction and off-the-charts chemistry, and you have an unforgettable story.
I absolutely loved it! I’ve read the entire series and can't wait for the next one!
Rafi is the fourth book in the Gatti Brother's series. Rafi has been a mystery since the beginning of the series, so I was interested to find out more about his story. He is the youngest of the brothers, so he is kept out of most of the problems happening in the mafia, but all he wants to do is prove himself to his brothers. So, he sets out to find Maxine (Mia's sister who went missing) on his own. Along the way, he meets Tayana, who works with rescuing missing trafficked women. Tayana works with Rafi to find Maxine, while trying to hide her real identity. I thought the beginning of the book was the best part as you get to see each of the main characters reason behind their calling in life. The beginning of the plot was intriguing and well thought out and I enjoyed seeing Rafi and Tayana's interactions. Rafi was all in from the beginning and showed his true feelings for Tayana. Tayana hides behind her icy demeanor but is filled with so much strength. She sets her goal to go against what her family legacy is all about. I thought she would hold onto that strength but as the story went on Tayana becomes a side character in her own story and once again needed a man to save her. It was disappointing to say the least and then the story went sideways. The end was too farfetched for me and too much like a soap opera with all of the drama. And they find Maxine and she just gets to leave her captors so easily after searching for her for two books. And how Tayana just forgave her family made me very frustrated. They are supposed to be the "bad guys" and in the end, are they? Did they traffic girls? There were too many questions than answers, and I wish the story did not feel so rushed. Overall, I keep reading these books because the story always sounds interesting but then I am left underwhelmed by them.
Gatti Brothers book 4 is Rafi, the youngest Gatti, and Tayanas story. As with the previous books, this book contains topics that may be sensitive to some readers so make sure you check trigger warnings before you start reading. Rafi feels he has something to prove in the world his brothers have tried to protect him from. Problem is that Rafi thrives in that world. Tayana has her hands full with her rescue work and no matter how difficult it is in all aspects, she thrives in what she does. These two come together and it's like the fourth of July. They're explosive! Their journey definitely isn't an easy one but fortunately for them, they have people in their corners who have their backs. Rafo Tayanas story is intense, gritty, emotional, dangerous and full of drama. Quite a consuming read!
"Sometimes you don’t choose the life you want, the life chooses you."
This is the 4th book in the Gatti Brothers series, and it did not disappoint. Rafi is the youngest of his brothers, and they want to shield him from the Mafia world as much as possible. However, sometimes he feels like he doesn't belong and he wants to be apart of the Mafia world, apart of his brothers operations.
Tayana is Russian and part of the Bravata world, she lives in the states and she has an underground operation, saving Traffic victims. Its dangerous and her family doesn't know, after all, her uncle is part of the trafficking problem.
When Rafi see's Maxine, Mia's sister who was taken at a fight club with Igor, he being his solo mission of trying to find her, which leads him to Tayana. Sparks fly, along with fear. Can they work together to bring Maxine home, or will she be lost forever?
Rafi is the fourth son in the Gatti family. His older brothers Scar, Brando and Lucky are a willing to help him when ever he needs it. But, Lucky wants to do something on his own to show them he is worthy of a real place in the family's business. He has been trying to find Maxine Andrato to earn that place rather than being kept safe in a boring job.
Tayana Aslanov is the only child of Anton Aslanov Russian mafia head. She left Russia and moved to the US to get away from him. She runs a secret underground organization to recover and rehome trafficked women.
Iris T. Cannon knocks it out of the park again. All the other books in the family story Scar, Brando and Lucky are great but this is my favorite. You cannot help but get caught up in Tayana and Rafi's story.

I love that Iris write the darker books but without the excessive spice. Yeah you get the odd scene but it doesn't overpower the story.
If you have read the previous books mainly Brando then you are aware that Brando's sister-in-laws were adultnapped by traffickers. Sadly Sophie died but Maxine is still out there.
This book is Rafi and Tayana story.
Rafi is the baby of the Gatti family and the others are trying to protect him from the Mafia life and because of this when Rafi happens upon Igor Aslanov with Maxine so he takes it on himself to try and get her back. This leads him to Tayana Kamarov, Igor niece. At first he just wants to use her for intel on her uncle but then in true Gatti style he falls for her and he falls hard.
I will say that I did love that Kanyan interfered at the end to help Rafi get his girl. I can't wait to read his book.
Rafi is the youngest Gatti brother. When he sees his sister in law's sister, Maxine, sitting in the audience of his cage fight, he can't believe his eyes. She'd been kidnapped and taken by traffickers. But there she is, sitting with Igor Aslanov. In order to get Maxine back he finds a way in through Igor's niece, Tayana Kamarov. Rafi thinks she's a party girl, she thinks he's got an agenda but can't work out what it is. Neither of these two are who they appear on the surface but actually have more in common than they realise.
A good story with ongoing plotlines, and updates on the other Gatti brothers.

Great conclusion to this series Gatti Brothers Book 4
Finally, Rafi's story! It is also an enemies-to-lovers romance. I don't know why I somehow underestimated the youngest Gatti brother but I was so wrong. Iris T. Cannon created a fantastic world and characters that kept me coming back for more. These Gatti brothers are wild and their women even more so. This was another winning page-turner for me.
Rafi and Tayana's story is full of that juicy tension and suspense. She wants nothing to do with him and he is persistent.
I loved the banter between Rafi and Jayana. Rafi is the "baby" of the family and his brothers think he should go a different route from them. He takes it upon himself to prove he can do their line of work. Rafi goes and tries to find his sister-in-laws sister. In doing so he meets Jayana, she is smart with some sass. She has a foundation that ended up building from the ground up. I was surprised with her story at the end but I loved it. Jayana ends up leaving and Rafi goes after her, during the time Jayana changes her mind and they meet up. The ending was absolutely surprising and I am so ready for the next series.
Rafi is the Gatti Family heir by day, and a ruthless, undefeated cage fighter by night. Sinful temptation in the flesh. As the youngest Gatti brother, he struggles with his place within the family. Tayana is a badass Bratva Princess, whose heart is as big as the walls she’s built to protect it. Her family has taken so much, and she is on a mission to make restitution, one life at a time.
Rafi and Tayana are both fighters in their own right. And if they fight together they make just prove that love doesn’t have to ruin or kill…it can make them a force of nature.

Rafi is the youngest brother and thrives in the world he's been brought up in. Tayana left her families ties in the past but uses her present and future to do good in helping victims of trafficking when Rafi comes tocher in need of help to find a missing person their chemestry sparks but trust isn't easy and when their goals aline their enemies close in. Well written engaging dark themes, desires drama action, steamy scenes and more.

I absolutely loved Rafi and Tayana's story. For two people who are so young, they've lived lifetimes. Tayana is such an amazingly strong and compassionate character, I love her drive to overcome her family business. And Rafi trying to prove himself as a Gatti. It is a fitting end to the Gatti series. I can't wait until the next series starts. I'm very curious about the spin off stories, especially Kanyan.

Rafi is the fourth book in the Gatti series. I tried with this one, but it was lacking connections, and the characters were two dimensional. Scar was fantastic and Brando and Lucky were really good, unfortunately fourth is not a charm. Rafi is on the hunt to fine Maxine and enlists Tayana to help because the last time they saw Maxine, she was in the company of her uncle (Bratva). The characters from the prior books made appearances but it just couldn't save this one. I received an advance review copy from Booksirens for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I finished the book in a day!! I loved the banter between Rafi and Jayana. Rafi is considered the “baby” of the family still. He goes and tries to find his sister-in-laws sister. In doing so he meets Jayana. She is smart and sass and created her foundation from the ground up. I was shocked about her story at the end but I absolutely loved it. Rafi trying to get her back while she lets him go, then changes her mind and their meet up *chefs kiss* the end for the next series was shocking and can’t wait for the Gatti bloodline.

I loved this fast-paced story with Rafi Gatti, is Mafia and Tayana Kamarov, is Bratva. Tayana, has been exiled from the Bratva, she has lived a hard brutal life with the scars as a reminder so now she rescues people that are in the same predictable situation including human trafficking. Rafi, an undefeated underground cage fighter, and an heir to the Gatti mafia empire. Rafi turns to the one person with the connections and knowledge to help him: Tayana Kamarov. In his search for Maxine Andrade.
Rafi and Tayana meet when he goes seeking her help to find a missing woman. Sparks fly between them, but Tayana wants nothing to do with him because of his background one in which she left behind. It is an explosive story filled with twists and turns that may cause triggers for some, but it is a thrilling read filled with colorful characters and situations that kept me glued to the book.

loved the h for a hot minute because she was a cold badass bitch that rescues trafficked girls. but then she does a total 360 and becomes this meek scared submissive version once H enters the picture. ugh i hated the narrative that she needed a man to save her. i liked the H, atleast his character was consistent throughout. chemistry between H/h were solid but ig there was just way too many plot holes that i was not a fan of
This was the book in the Gatti Brothers series that I was anticipating the most. Being the youngest brother, the other brothers tried to shelter Rafi from the worst of the Mafia world. Tayana may have family ties to the Bratva, but she is fighting against their most despicable actions. Rafi and Tayana have a chemistry that burns so hot. Rafi and Tayana's story for me is a perfect ending for the Gatti Brothers series. I am really glad that I recently found Iris T Cannon's books.
RAFI: A Dark Mafia Enemies to Lovers Romance (Gatti Brothers Book 4) By: Iris T Cannon. The youngest , the one the Gatti Brothers protect the most from their lifestyle. Rafi is on a mission to bring home Maxine Andrade. Anther page turner with non stop action ..Finally we see an end to Daniel. Tayana Kamarov is the Russian princess Rafi match…it’s a great story ….
I have read the previous books in this series and enjoyed them all, so my expectations on this book were high. I must admit that I found that the story was a little slow to progress in the beginning but overall found it to be enjoyable.

This is the fourth book in the Gatti Brothers series. It’s a great enemies-to-lovers mafia romance. Rafi is on a mission to find Tayana’s sister, Maxine, and bring her home. It’s action packed and full of drama. Their chemistry is explosive, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him because he’s mafia. Lots of twists, turns and spice!
Mafia Enimies to lovers Forced proximity Secret identity And more! There was drama, action, danger, lots of feels, and steam. When Rafi and Tayanna get together their chemistry and banter is fire! The road they take wasn't smooth sailing, but the overall trip was worth it to get their happy ending.
I really enjoyed Rafi and Tatyana’s story. It was an intriguing and intense read. Great characters. RAFI is the fourth book in the Gatti Brothers Mafia Empire series. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.
The author has written well developed main and side characters and the prose is descriptive without being too much. The plot is good, somewhat predictable, yet enjoyable. There is spice simmering throughout. Overall, this was a great book.
Rafi is my fav Gatti Brother. His fear of not being loved and recognized makes him brave and stubborn at the same time. Rafi is synonymous with the idea that one should not give up, one should fight until exhaustion.
I enjoyed this book and thought it was the best out of the four brothers. How they all care for one another. The characters in the book were great. Kanyan is a great character in all the books. The Enforcer. So glad he got a book of his own and looking forward to read it.
