One glance across his sister’s warehouse and billionaire Zaire knew 38-year-old Kalyani was the one, but the single mother of three swore off men years ago after a messy divorce.
Zaire, though, he’s not just ‘any’ man.
With his siblings’ help, Zaire works to break down Kalyani’s defences, eager to show her that not every man is like her ex. But although her children warm to him immediately, Kalyani resists Zaire’s advances, even though her soul undoubtedly is pulled to his.
Zaire isn’t giving up, though, no matter how hard Kalyani tries to run. He knows she’s his, and he’s determined to make her realise that he’s hers, too.

With over 40 books published to date, representation is important to her, so you will always find positive representations of black men and women in her books, with a focus on family bonds, growth, and above all, strong fiery heroines and the heroes that love the hell out of them for it.
Writing novels that make her readers 'feel' is her mission; she does not just write stories to be read, but for her readers to experience. As someone who has lived through many up and downs in her personal life, she uses those experiences in all of her stories, priding herself on the realism in her work, regardless of genre.
She began writing in the late 90's, although it was mostly song lyrics she wrote to escape her loneliness. As one of only a handful of bi-racial children living in her small hometown of Banbury, she struggled to make friends and to be accepted, so she spent most of her childhood alone.
She currently lives in England, but her family is spread all across the United States, including the states of Baltimore, Colorado, and Texas.
As a mother to four beautiful children, she spends her spare time playing Roblox and finding new places to walk with them, helping others discover self-love through her wellness blog, binge reading dirty romances, or watching food review shows on YouTube.
It has been a good one thus far. So glad this one was not a recap. Zaire remained persistent in his pursuit of Kallie but wasn't pushy. I loved that he knew his person well and it was only a matter of time before she let her resistance to him go. BONUS was him also accepting the kids a d loving them just as fierce as he did their mother. Looking forward to finding out what they're all feeling is coming next and if the visitor is really Violets person.
This book gives me hope that even having three kids that a man the really loves me will love my babies like they are his own. Now Kallie had a lot to unpack with her views on men but Zaire was ready for the task. Now that cliffhanger ending does this mean that Violet partner is already a zombie? I can’t wait to see, overall great read.
Book 7 was an anticipated one! Zaire is much different than his brothers but is the same as them at the same time. It was not as suspenseful as Ra & Cam or Jace & Paris. However, I still enjoyed the book. I'm already waiting on one of my favorite sisters' story next. I think we are in for a treat and a wide ride with her.
I can never get enough of this family. It’s honestly worth the wait every time and I’m so sick it ended that way. It was so good and I absolutely love that for Kallie and Zaire. I need to know what’s going on in the background, so many questions I need answers to. 10/10 def recommend
Seven books in and I am still enjoying this series. Usually I lose interest when a series spins off to the next generation, but the author, LeeSha McCoy, is keeping it interesting. The teaser at the end of this book definitely has me looking forward to the next book.
Omg I promise I don't regret starting this zombie series. I thought it would be like the zombie movies back in the day. However this author put her spin to it and I have been hooked. Zaire is book bae now. I hope we get an update on the kids in the next two books.
I’m so sad it’s over but whew Violet man is interesting. I have lots of questions and need answers! How I have missed my zombies so glad to read them again!!
So far I have enjoyed Zaire more than any of the other siblings. His story seemed more mature. He was really on his grown man stuff with Kallie. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the siblings and find out what’s going on. Possible reemergence of the vermin zombies?
If Stand On Business was a Zombie Prince then it’s Zaire!!! I loved this story from beginning to end. How many times have you let your past ruin your future? Zaire was not playing about his fated and said it with his chest every step of the way!
I'm still rocking with this series, love the characters and the flow of this story I can't wait for all of them to find their people and for the War to begin. Kudos to the author for another banging installment
