I haven't been to Seaside in five years. Never thought I'd be back either. This place held nearly all of my heartache. It's where my heart was shattered. And it's where I left the pieces and moved across the country.
But now, I'm back and waiting tables at the same restaurant I used to and hoping it’ll be different this time.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a little heavier than this authors first book in the series but just as good. It had characters I love and hope to see more of in the future. I really loved Charlie and Archer's story. I didn't want to be team Archer but in the end I was. Daisy and Max though almost stole the whole show!
Archer was the love of Charlie's life but one day he was just gone, broke her heart and never contacted her again. Five years later she has returned to Seaside and on the verge of starting a new relationship when he is standing right in front of her wanting a second chance. This brief love triangle and her overwhelming emotions set the tone for this story and really amp up your own feelings. It was not an easy road for these two which was great. I liked that he had to work on proving things were different this time around, but I do hope the other man gets his own happy ending. There were still some questions I had by the end but overall, I did enjoy this read.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily leave this review.
Charlie has not been back in Seaside in 5 years. She left and did not believe that she would ever return. But fate has a way of bringing you back to where you belong. She is trying to move on from her past and find happiness again. She believes that she may have it within her grasp. But then the past comes back and runs her right over. Will she be able to make the right decision and choose who will make her happy? Will she be able to forgive and forget and move on finally from the past? I liked this one. It was a page turning storyline. I enjoyed reading about Charlie and seeing just how strong she really is when it comes down to her happiness. This was another great addition to the summer in seaside series. Wonderfully written and enjoyable from beginning to end.
I really wanted to love this read but it missed the mark for me. I started off liking Charlie, she's back in a town that she loved, one full of memories, and ready to start over after heartbreak. As the story progressed and she has decisions to make, I felt less connected to her. She seemed a bit wishy washy to me. The secrets that were revealed, the reasoning behind them, and all, just left me wanting more from her. To stand up for herself more, and handle things differently.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Charlie lest Seaside devastated and heartbroken five years ago and hasn’t been there ever since. But now she’s back and is working at the restaurant waiting times like before. She hopes that things will not turn out like before. She has a feeling that this time she will finally be happy.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a summer, second chance romance then you’re going to love it.
M Leigh Morhaime Capturing Summer : Part of the Summers in Seaside Series Charlie Charlie left Seaside broken hearted, her high school boyfriend just up and left her with nothing but a goodbye note. This was a fantastic small town, second chance romance with wonderful characters and a great HEA. The mystery surrounding Archer’s disappearance and everything Charlie had been going through, especially starting a new relationship when he showed back up, kept me guessing until the end how everything would turn out. Great read!
Another wonderful addition to the Summer in Seaside Collection.
This one was a bit mysterious and had a different vibe from the others in the collection. This was a great second-chance romance, that had a bit of a love-triangle in the mists. A beautiful story with great characters.
This is Charlie’s second chance romance story. It gave me all the feels and loved every page of it! What she went through, my heart hurt for her. By the end, my heart was so happy for her! It was everything I could possible want in a book and can’t wait to read more by this Author. Beautifully written!
Adam and Charlie have a connection that is just starting to grow. But then Archer, Charlie's lost love with no explanation, returns and their connection is still there too. This was an emotional second chance romance that is very enjoyable.
