In an age where Stoicism has reemerged as the antidote to modern chaos, Eternal Calm arrives with perfect timing. Having recently completed Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations, I found Panagiotidis’ work a natural, contemporary extension—lucid, practical, and quietly profound. This isn’t just historical philosophy; it’s a structured manual for equanimity in a hyperconnected world. The prose is grounded but refined, the content both accessible and enduringly wise. Like Aurelius, Panagiotidis reminds us: the mind is our citadel, and virtue our compass. Highly recommended for those seeking to live deliberately—and with grace—in uncertain times

This is a nice intro to Stoicism, and it includes a lot of information on how to apply its ideas to your modern life. I found the book a little repetitive, but as I made my way through the book I realized that the repetition is probably very valuable in this case. Highly recommended!
