I love this world! I don't know if I'll ever make it to Alaska and I'll definitely never know life as a crabber, but I've lived the life through this series. It's so different and unexpected and I've really enjoyed these books. I was eagerly anticipating Eirik and Amelia's story and it did not disappoint! Can't wait for the next one in the series!

Another exceptional story in this amazing series. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. I think one of my favorite tropes is the brother's best friend and the way the author wrote it into this story it was well done. I liked how she flushed out the story. I also liked how the relationship evolved between the main characters. and I couldn't get enough of that deadliest c@tch vibe. This is a story that caught my attention. It's unique and different but so good. I look forward to reading the next in this series.

Eeeekkk, this is so good. The first portion of the book sucks you in as you get to know the characters, their feelings, and you begin to form an attachment. The next half has me all giddy and excited as the story progresses as well as the characters. I can't help it, I'm over here kicking and cackling and biting my nails as I read it and it all plays out! I loved the banter between these two but what I loved most about this book is how many similarities there are to my personal life. There are so many it is kinda shocking....

Amelia, a teacher, and Eirik, a crab fisherman, have known each other their entire lives. They've secretly loved one another since childhood, but years of misunderstanding and unspoken feelings have kept them apart—leading to a simmering tension every time they're together. Their chemistry is undeniable when they finally come together and confess their feelings. When Amelia becomes pregnant, the couple decides to share both their relationship and the pregnancy with their families—who are shocked and their initial reaction is less than supportive. Eirik’s unwavering commitment to Amelia, as he stands up for their future together, is heartwarming and powerful. This is a beautifully written love story and I’m absolutely loving this Alaskan crabbers series!

This is the second book in this series, and this sis Erik and Amelia’s story.
Erik and Amelia have known each other most of their lives, and he is her older brother’s best friend, and they have hidden their feeling from each other. Now their relationships has become strained, and they fight constantly when they are near each other, and bring out the worst in each other.
This is a well written easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, frenemies / lovers, secrets, humor, witty banter, secrets, surprises, informative, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, small-town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

As author, Jessica Buss says 'get ready for a whole new Cowboy - the Bering Sea Crabbers!' The first books of the series are Baited (Henrik) and Caught (Eirik). These two best friends are multi-generation crabbers who live on Kodiak, a large island off the southern coast of Alaska. Jessica, born and raised in Alaska, accurately describes Kodiak, the people, festivals and crabbing industry. Crabbers are away from home months at a time. The challenges for the fishermen and their families are intense. The women they love is a subplot in itself. The reader can imagine oneself on the dock waiting for their crabbers to return. I completely recommend this series and can't wait for Book 3! As some readers have said - these books are a whole new adventure they could have never imagined but completely enjoyed!

This is Book #2 in the Bering Sea Crabbers. The first part of the book was about the tension between Eirik and Amelia. You could feel the sexual tension coming off of those two. One of my favorite tropes is accidental pregnancy. Incredible read!!

Amelia has always been in love with her brother’s best friend. Eirik was scared to tell his best friend that he wanted Amelia. How would he react?

I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

This is book 2 in the Sering Sea Crabbers series and it’s just as great a read as book 1, at least in this reader's humble opinion. The storyline and the characters captured my heart from the start. Eirik and Amelia have known each other for years and have this friend/enemy type relationship while secretly crushing on each other. But due to the unwritten rule, Amelia is off limits as she is Eirik’s best friend's little sister. But sometimes that rule is meant to be broken, right? At least that’s what Eirik decides when it’s apparent if something doesn’t happen he’s going to lose her all together. But still if he acts will he lose his best friend in the process? Trust me when I say, you’ll fall in love with the people that make up the Crabbing Community as well delight in the banter and the romance of it all. I can’t recommend this book/series enough.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars

Amazing read! This is book 2 in Jessica’s Bering Sea Crabbers series, and it picks up right where Baited left off — addictive! The storyline (in both books) is unique. I love Eirik and Amelia’s story, which is another beautifully written romance. Eirik and Amelia’s chemistry is incredible! Their story is a slow burn with all the feels. It has some angst and suspense. Their story is emotional, romantic, and spicy. Jessica continues to include Alaska’s ambiance. This series is well worth your reading time. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Another 5-star read!

Caught is the 2nd book in the Bearing Sea Crabbers series by Jessica Buss.
I was so excited to read Eirik and Amelia’s story!
These two have known each other most of their lives, and Eirik is Amelia's older brothers best friend.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts, and I loved the banter between them.
Once they finally give into their feelings and get together? Sparks fly!
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for more of this exciting new series.

What an incredible book! This is the second book in the series and it is a hit! I loved the story of Eirik and Amelia. They have known each other their whole lives and have secretly been interested in each other. Well several ups and downs they finally give into temptation. I’m so glad they did because they are a great couple. Then the unexpected happens. Will they make it through?

Another great read by Jessica Buss! Can’t wait for the next book.

Quite a bit of this book ran in the concurrent timeline of the first book, we just got to see things from Eirik and Amelia point of view. I thought it sad that Eirik has lived with his crush on Amelia for most of his life and has had to stuff his feelings down because BFF's sister. I'm glad that he made a change to start to get along with Mia and that she took advantage of her own crush to go along with things. When the two of them finally spoke about their feelings, it felt like a long time coming. It made sense their wanting to hide things, they wanted to enjoy spending time together a bit first. And when they announced things to their family and friends, looks like it was the right choice, because of how it went over. It's a good thing that changed in a few minutes. Nice to see how this one ended and how happy they were together building a future.

5 Star Review Caught (Bering Sea Crabbers #2) by Jessica Buss

This is Eirik and Amelia’s friends to lovers story and was a great addition to the Bering Sea Crabbers, the latest series from author Jessica Buss.

Set on Kodiak Island the writing was descriptive and I found myself transported to the island and the Bering Sea.

This was a well written, entertaining story with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in.

Our couple have been in each others lives since childhood and have had a strong friendship. However in laters years it turned into more of a frenemies relationship.

Both have feelings for the other which they have managed to keep hidden for years, until it becomes too much.

I really enjoyed their journey as they moved from friends to lovers. It was rocky to say the least at times but what a journey it was.

This book is everything I look for in a romance.

After reading Baited I've been so excited for more of this series! This second book instantly became an anticipated read of mine. Anytime I saw a post for it it added even more to my excitement. I picked it up as soon as I could and jumped right back into the Bering Sea Crabbers world. I loved this book so very much!

When I found out that Amelia and Eirik were getting their own book I couldn't wait!

Amelia and Eirik's journey had me hooked from beginning to end! A person can get into your heart and stay there no matter what, something  Eirik and Amelia both know. Amelia is a teacher and Eirik is a crab fisherman. Eirik and Amelia have been in each other's lives for many years since Eirik is best friend's with Amelia's brother, Henrik. They had a bond of their own, but they became frenemies. Little did they know that they both have feelings for one another. Can Amelia and Eirik take a chance? and could it change things forever?

Both Eirik and Amelia definitley had me glued to my kindle while reading! I've been so curious about these two and was glad that I got to dig deeper with them. I enjoyed the fact that Amelia and Eirik have known each other for so long.  From being frenemies, Henrik, their new reality, and their true feelings for each other, I couldn't wait to see how they'd tackle it all.

Amelia and Eirik got to each other in so many ways. The banter between these two was so good! Every bit of Eirik and Amelia's longing and connection shined with every page turn. I was cheering for them to get together. Amelia and Eirik's chemistry was so real, spicy, and undeniable. Their love was meant to be. Eirik and Amelia definitely had me all in my feels all throughout!

I was so happy to get more of the Bering Sea and Kodiak Island! Once again I could picture everything so vividly in my mind while reading. I really enjoyed getting to reunite with this crew of characters. Also, I need a whole batch of monster cookies in my life ASAP! 🍪

With Caught, Ms.Buss has created such a wonderful page turner of a frenemies to lovers romance that brought teacher x crab fisherman, realness, best friend's little sister, family, accidental pregnancy, banter, spicy goodness, heart, relatability, and a lot of feels! This author has me falling hard for these crabbers and their loves!🦀💗🍪

If you haven't picked up the first two books in Bering Sea Crabbers Series yet, you so should this summer. I'm really loving and enjoying this series and I can't wait to dive back into it with the third installment, Released!

I have been so excited for this story after being introduced,or shall I say "Baited" in book #1. I love the back and forth between Eirik and Amelia. I love that this whole group of characters are so connected either by blood, found family and true friends.
Eirik and Amelia began as the brother's best friend and the little sister tag along. As they grew, feelings deepened and had to be hidden so as not to rock the proverbial boat. Now in adult situations and being thrown together, those feelings are getting too hard to hide, especially when a little plus sign shows up!
Eirik's emotional depth and Amelia's pull between her emotions for Eirik and the love of and for her family (and let's not forget her second grader's glitter obsession) I have truly fallen for this story - Hook, Line and Bait Ball!
Not to belittle book #1 in any way - but book #2 has "Caught" spot #1 in my heart.

Amelia has hidden the depth of her feelings for Eirick, her brother’s best friend, under a mask of animosity for years. As much as she wants a relationship with him she has begun to realize it is never going to happen and just when she is ready to move forward without him everything changes.

Eirick has had deep feelings for Amelia for years, but he is torn between his love for her and loyalty to his best friend. He has kept his distance from her for years but that is only becoming more difficult especially when he begins to see how empty his future would be without her.

This a story of two people who have always belonged together who take us on a journey filled with emotion and surprises as they must decide if what they share is worth fighting for.

An engaging read, with a well developed setting. Erik and Amelia are perfect together; it just takes them a very long time to figure it out. One of my favorite parts was when Amelia decided she was going to make monster cookies for Erik too. The only part I didn’t like is the story before they get together was a lot, it felt like it drug on a bit. However once everything came together it was amazing. I loved how supportive Erik was when she announced her pregnancy to the families, and how he truly supported her. Also the glitter scenes were perfect, maybe it is because I am a teacher, I laughed so much. It was an engaging read with amazing characters, I highly recommend you read it. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I recommend that you read this series in order to really enjoy it. With its vivid writing and setting on Kodiak Island, I was able to see both the island and the Bering Sea. This was a well-written, interesting storytelling with people whose stories you couldn't help but get involved in. Eirik and Amelia have known each other since childhood and share a close connection. Later on, though, it became more of a frenemy relationship, with both parties harboring feelings for one another that they had managed to conceal for years until they became too intense. I am looking forward to the next book in this series!!

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Eirik and Amelia "Mia"'s story continues from the first book in this series Baited as we were teased with their possible beginning. This book can be read as a standalone but some of the story does overlap from the first book. I suggest reading this series in order for the ultimate enjoyment of it. A hidden childhood crush is all grown up with the mixture of crab fishing, the distance and time away from each other and misconstrued impressions. I loved this story and the characters kept me entertained and enthralled.
Was not able to keep my attention
This book would have been a lot better had it not spent so much time focused on Eirik catching crabs out at sea. It was difficult to pay attention during those parts because it was so repetitive. The plot didn’t get interesting until the last quarter, but you have to read at least 350 pages before it starts getting good. Then it just ends. This book had so much potential, because the characters were cool, but the author didn’t do a great job with the plot in my opinion!
OMG!! I loved this!! It's Eirik & Amelia's story & it was awesome!! They've known each other forever & they've always had feelings for each other, but it's complicated. Her brother is HIS best friend. They're always bickering with each other & I loved the back & forth between them. This is a slow burn & I loved the build up!! They do have to work on some thing's between them, but it was awesome!! I loved the story & the spice!! Highly recommend this book & author!!
Was disappointed with this book . Story was longer than it needed to be. First half of the bool could have been told in 2 chapters . The meat of the story was rushed at the end .
Since the first book, I have been waiting for Amelia and Eirik’s slow burn romance. I loved how his love for her homemade cookies were weaved into the plot.
Things truly pick up though at the halfway mark when they decide to give their relationship a chance, ignoring the obstacles around them. The ending was a sweet one and perfect for our couple.
This 2nd book in the series is about Eirik (Heinrik's best friend) and Amelia (Henrik's baby (and ONLY) sister.). Yep, its a best friend's brother romance. Amelia has been in love with Eirik ever since she can remember, always following them around and being picked on. Little did she know that Eirik secretly liked her hanging around them. But as they grew up and grew apart, neither of them made any moves.
Now Amelia's all grown up home from college and teaching. And dating! Erik realizes he better make a move or possibly lose her forever. Watching these two navigate from being practically enemies, to friends, to lovers, and then soul mates is fascinating! Their banter is remarkable and I fell in love with The Nugget right along with them!
The beginning of the book was a lot of repetition from the first book, just from Erik and Amanda's perspective. Don't let that put you off. It catches up to their shenanigans really quickly and will keep you glued to the pages! I love these Crabber series!
Caught is Eirik and Amelia’s friends to enemies to lovers story and it’s book two in the Bering Sea Crabbers Series. I was captivated in this well written, entertaining read that ultimately was a breath of fresh air because this romance series is so very different to any other I have read.
Eirik and Amelia have known each other all their lives and they have both hidden the feelings they have for each other because she is his best friend’s sister and that makes her off limits. Problem is we can’t always control what our hearts want and it seems their hearts are on a mission and after a few ups and downs they give into temptation and thats when life gets real interesting………
I loved everything about this book from the characters to the camaraderie the crews of these crabbing ships share and everything in between. I swooned and I smiled as I fell hard and fast for Eirik and Amelia.
I truly enjoyed the back and forth between Amelia and Eirik, both when they were trying to hide their feelings and when they tired to hide their relationship. It took them quite a while to figure out their hearts. Amelia was very loyal to her family, but she found she did not know the truth about Eirik. He had a deceptive past (in a good way), and he took his time revealing that. I love the way he cared for his crew and family, adding another point in his good column. I look forward to more from this author.
This is the 2nd book in the series and I loved it! Eirik and Amelia have known each other for years and both have had feelings for the other but never said a word. Their relationship over the years turned into a kind of frenemy thing, and their banter was great. But once Eirik's eyes were open to how amazing she is and that if he doesn't change & make a move he may lose her forever. I am excited that this series will continue.
