I thought this was going to be a series, continuing on Feed. It was not! I’m both happy and devastated because if you started with Feed too - you know how amazing it was!

I loved a few things about this. I loved the dystopian world and struggle of powers. I think a lot of this could be applied to intercultural and interpersonal relations between humans today and the superiority over one another and misunderstandings between groups. I enjoyed the science aspect of this a lot and the conniving ways in which the humans went about undermining the opposing group. It was ingenious and completely unexpected.

Once again, I’m shocked and pleasantly surprised how much Sequel manages to pack into these little gems! If you haven’t already picked up one of the slaughterhouse books, today’s a good day to get into them!
