Funny and Factual

Lyla is a divorcee living with her two roommates in a house with a yard that desperately needs landscaping. Enter Matayis, shirtless, younger but oh so hot … I really enjoyed this story - there’s so much truth in her, about going for what you want instead of just accepting your lot in life, and about screwing the worlds perceptions. This series is a hoot (and H O T hot!) - I can’t wait for Rosy’s story!

The Bush Trimmer!

Lyla’s is tired and fed up. Her bushes are overgrown and her trees need tending, so when the landscaper Matayis promises to help her out, she discovers that she can have everything she wants and then some.

A short but witty love letter to perimenopausal women everywhere. Loved it!

I am loving this series of mature woman finally realizing and getting what they’ve always deserved. The characters are funny, with many innuendos, like how spot on the girl talk with friends hits home. Love how these men know when they see a good woman and don’t let age dictate their actions. Looking forward to Rosie finding her man.

Matayis is a landscaper who is just interested in Lyla even though she is older than him.
The best part of the book is the conversation between Lyla and her daughter.

This series of books is hilariously funny, charming younger men, women navigating life after cheating husbands and being single later in life. This book had me smiling and laughing the entire time. Lyla is a mess and crushing like a middle school girl on the landscaper is just the beginning. I can’t wait to read about Rosie’s adventure in book 3.
