One of the most thought-provoking series I've read!
From book one, we've embarked on an incredible journey of forgiveness, love, redemption, and rediscovering the meaning of purpose. Webb spares no expense at ripping your heart out in book 3 and leaving it on a platter for you to pick up afterward. This book is breathtakingly beautiful from page one.
I always commend anyone who can wrap up a series and leave a reader feeling both at peace and wanting more. It's an art to write that final book, and Webb has proven she is a master of it. All your questions are answered, the world STILL gets bigger, and by the end, I'm begging for a spin-off (or two. Or three).
This book was the last book in the spirited series which follows teens Cassidy and Sienna, former enemies, who die in a tragic accident and must spend the afterlife together working as a team in heaven. Things gets interesting as they work through their own passings to save those they love in the eternal battle between good and evil. Enter Graham, the sexy ember and main antagonist. These girls will have to learn to let go of earthly feelings and memories, to move into forgiveness, and peace in order to be a successful spirit guide team.
Wow, what a fantastic ending to a great series! The author managed to surprise me a couple times in the last book. I don't want to give anything away, but I cheered, I gasped, I cried, and I immediately wanted to re read it. This series has been an obsession of mine since book one and I'm praying she does a standalone about Graham 🔥 IYKYK.
Do NOT miss out on this book or series. It's become a comfort read to me. I haven't been this obsessed with a YA series since the hunger games.

Spirited III:Last Chance, by S.M. Webb, is a divinely magical ending to an amazing trilogy.
I was both captivated and glued to the storyline from the moment I cracked open the spine of this book, which offered the perfect blend of adventure, emotion, and existential pause.
In Spirited III: Last Chance, Cassidy and Sienna, are now facing their greatest challenge. Separated by fate, they must navigate their paths without the support of the other leaving readers on the edge of their seats.
In my opinion, one of the most compelling aspects of the Spirited trilogy has been the remarkable growth of its characters. SM Webb weaves the evolution and maturation of both Cassidy and Sienna— their growth and development are palpable, which adds depth and authenticity to the story.
While considered YA fiction, the Spirited trilogy has proven to have a much broader appeal. The exploration of complex themes such as the afterlife, the eternal struggle between light and darkness, and human nature, encourages the reader, subtly, to ponder their place in the universe.
Spirited III: Last Chance has been a satisfying, yet bittersweet, ending to the overall Spirtied series, and as a reader, I found myself sad to say farewell to this enchanting story.
S.M. Webb’s Spirited III: Last Chance is a must-read for both fans of the series and new readers alike.
Spirited - Last Chance wraps up this series with more than a few satisfying scenarios. It starts off a little slow but quickly builds momentum. It is deep with some powerful messages, exploring the connectedness of human souls, angels, the afterlife, love and soulmates. My favorite quote is "The light shines in darkness. * “And the darkness has not overcome it. “ * “It's about you. They could not diminish the light within you.”
Like the first two books, book three takes you on a fun yet thought provoking journey in the clouds with interesting world building. There is some kick@ss warfare between angels and demons but nothing too violent. Tenji makes the story for me. I love how he is described and he feels very real to me as an angel. The significant characters are all exceptionally well developed. You feel you are getting to know them individually. This series is definitely character driven. I absolutely loved the ending! S.M. Webb has a captivating writing style and a gift for storytelling I truly enjoy.
