The Alpha’s Mate . . .
Five years ago, not even an adult yet, Heather had been forced to run for her life when she broke pack law because of an article she wrote. Now Heather works at a bridal shop where she designs dresses for the famous designer Jessie who also has rented her a cottage. Jesse has even trusted her with the keys to the shop so she can open up early. Heather has gotten so good at the designing that Jessie now focuses mostly on the marketing of the business.
The pack Alpha’s son, Trey Hanover, is interrupted by his spoiled younger sister Violet who will be getting married. She is determined to get a wedding dress designed by Jessie. With their father ill, Trey has been making all the decisions and agrees that they will pay for the designer to stay with them while she works continuously on the dress. But now, Trey has a meeting coming up to discuss the “new laws” that he does not like. They reveal the existence of shifters but don’t tell humans everything. His team of buddies want him to make changes to those laws. But for now, he needs them to keep quiet about it. As he begins to leave, Raymond and Melissa Cauley stop him, insisting he talk with them immediately. They want an update on their daughter, Heather, needing to know if she is still in exile after all these years. Since his father is still Alpha, Trey can’t really change that status.
When Heather is given the chance to be the exclusive designer for an important family, she is thrilled until she learns where she will need to go. Her life is in danger if she returns home. But she is determined to design the dress for Violet’s wedding even at risk to herself. When Trey realizes she is his mate, will he step in to keep her safe when even his own life would be at risk? Or is her fate already decided?

Trey's father has cancer and has days to live. He will assume the alpha role when his father passes. He is doing everything for his sister because he can't take a chance that someone will see the exile.
Then as days turn into weeks he starts to try to find a loophole in the law about exiles. His sister tells him it seems he has feelings for Heather. He goes out to let steam off and can't even touch another female. Yup he has feelings. He has to find something that will keep him from having to kill Heather.
Will he find the loophole before someone finds out Heather is in town?
A fascinating story which will have the reader yelling names at the alpha and the alpha to be.

OMG 😱 this was an awesome read. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was totally worth it and intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. It was addicted and entertaining of chaos and emotions drama. Heather was a wolf who was running for her life and had worked at a wedding shop. And Trey was the Alpha of his pack. Heather and Trey bond was arranged by their father and she had to go by the rules within the pack. Trey was her true mate and it is going to happen soon enough. What is she going to do now she not even in love with him it was a love and hate relationship and it was steamy and sexual tension going on in that moment. One thing lead to another and the physical attraction was to hard to fight the temptation of passion any longer.

Heather was a journalist in her pack and wrote about her experiences as a wolf. This has her exiled from the pack and she had to make a new life for herself. She starts working in a bridal shop and its going well until a request for a dress design she made is asked for and its lands her back on pack land. Trey is stunned to find that the dressmaker his sister wanted is the exiled pack member. He doesn't make things easy for her especially when he realizes she is his mate. Heather just wants to finish the job and go back home. However, nothing goes as planned as Trey starts spending more time with her and things heat up between them. Will they be found out? Can they find a way to be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Heather is very excited to be offered an opportunity to be the exclusive designer and maker of a lady from a prominent family. Unfortunately, she finds out that they are from her hometown and she was not allowed to go back. She had disappeared 5 years ago after breaking pack law before she was an adult.
This book was a great read, I read it in an afternoon, and it’s worth it. Great characters and storyline, get it, read it you’ll enjoy it!

I really enjoyed this story. It was a refreshing change of pace from the “normal” shifter stories. Alpha and an exile. While there were a few missed words and some lines that contradicted each other, overall good writing with a happy ending.
There was a pretty major part of the storyline that seemed rushed or skimmed over about three quarters of the way into the book. I would have liked a little more time spent on that since there seemed to be enough left in the book to do it without detracting from the planned ending. Quick read for those shifter lovers.

A fantastic read for those who love shifter stories. Heather is an exiled wolf who if enters her packs territory it is upon pain of death. Then she is requested to go to NYC to design and make the wedding dress for the Alpha's daughter. When Trey, the alpha heir apparent sees her, he almost kills her but his sister Violet stops him and talks him out of it. The characters are well developed and very engaging and the world building is creative and fantastic. I really enjoyed reading this story. A must read for those who love reading shifter stories!

Heather was exiled from her pack 5 years ago and had remained "lost" all that time until she returns to her home town to design a wedding gown. So of course she meets her mate, has lots of drama, and trouble. It was funny, had good characters and I enjoyed the story. Had to see if Heather would get her true happy ending and how much trouble she must deal with first.

An ARC I received, I enjoyed the storyline. It is a shifter romance with a bit of spice. 🌶🌶🌶 I found a few errors, but nothing earth-shattering. I did feel like it was rushed in the last quarter of the book. I would have happily read a longer book for a bit more detail. Overall a quick read that I did enjoy.

This was Good.. Until it wasn't
I really enjoyed this book up until about the 80% mark. At this point, the writing became rushed and very stilted, like the characters were reading their parts. It felt like the author ran out of ideas and just hurried to get it done.

the ending…
It was a decent book but the ending absolutely fizzled out. It’s like the author was in a rush. I felt I was speed reading a few chapter when in reality it was 2 pages.. there was so much potential for a solid ending but it was lacking.

A beautiful fate mate's story. Some spice and danger. A quick read, of finding love agents all odds. I recommend this book to all Shifter romance lovers.
