Rescued From Darkness
Everly is living a nightmare with a man who abuses her physically and mentally and she is quickly hitting her lowest low. Regnor will protect the woman he has loved from afar for more time than she would have hoped. I loved Regnor with the way he was that safe place for Everly and what he had promised her.
It is also the time that the Raiders of Valhalla MC are dealing with their nemesis the Patriot and his associates that just happen to have a link to Everly.
Then adding even more drama to this book the club Prez had made a deal with Irish in order to protect the club from the cartel. This was years ago but is now coming to light. Many are aghast at the deal and thinking its time for the club to make some changes.
The was a fast-paced MC romance that was filled with survival, surprises and drama galore. As always, I look forward to this author’s books.

How will Everly’s dad react to them being together?
This is a well written action-packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, secrets, surprises, an age gap, danger, suspense, intrigue, manipulation, challenges, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, page turner.

Regnor is amazing in the book. The way he steps in for Everly once he realizes she’s being abused both mentally and physically. She’s also pregnant by the guy who is hurting her. Not to mention he’s loved her from afar for years AB’s he’s just not going to do it anymore.
This book was intense with a lot of action, chaos, betrayal, and more. I loved the way Regnor stepped in and finally took Everly from an abusive situation. Made his feelings known, and also had no issues making that baby his ❤️.

A great read that brings back the memories of the characters we have met in the original Raiders of Valhalla MC. This is a good, steady read that is slowly building up the back story of the 2nd generation, with some good plots to come fir sure.
Mortify follows Regnor standing up to his feelings for Everly and showing her the love and support of a soft biker over her abusive ex and father of her baby.
Looking forward to reading stories for Bjorn and Ingrid and Runes' twin girls.

MORTIFY is the third instalment in Elizabeth KNox’s contemporary, adult RAIDERS OF VALHALLA: NEW BLOOD dark, MC romance series, set in the RAIDERS OF VALHALLA MC world co-authored by Elizabeth Knox and EC Land. This is Regnor, and Everly’s story line. MORTIFY can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise throughout. Everly is the daughter of Kraken and Magnolia (Spiteful/ Raiders of Valhalla 4).

Told from dual first person perspectives (Regnor and Everly) MORTIFY follows in the wake of the ‘rescue’ of our story line heroine from her abusive ex-boyfriend. Everly’s relationship with her now ex-boyfriend Dylan had become abusive and controlling, and MC member Regnor was one of the few members to see through Everly’s barely veiled facade but when Everly is no longer able to hide the bruises, Regnor steps in to claim Everly as his own including the unborn child of the other man. Meanwhile, the MC continues to struggle with a man known as the Patriot, a man whose organization is involved in human trafficking and distribution of drugs, drugs that are aimed at the innocent and young but as the Raiders of Valhalla begin to search for the people responsible, the finger is pointed back at members of the MC.
The world building focuses on the growing relationship between Regnor and Everly as they struggle to keep the truth hidden from our heroine’s father. Everly has been declared off-limits for all of her life but Regnor is about to claim Everly as his own in the hopes of protecting the woman he loves. As the MC goes on the hunt for the people trafficking in both humans and drugs, a familiar face is about to declare open season on everyone involved.

Not with sweet words or grand gestures—but with loyalty, sacrifice, and a bone-deep commitment that had me practically growling at the page. Because when a man says, “That baby might not be mine by blood, but I’ll die protecting her and her mama,” — I melt. Every time. No exceptions.
Let me back up: Mortify is raw, gritty, and unapologetically fierce, just like a true MC romance should be. But beneath the bullets, blood, and barbed wire loyalties, this story is all heart. Regnor didn’t owe Everly anything, not technically. But that didn’t stop him from stepping the hell up when the man who should have done right by her—didn’t. And while the club’s in chaos, while enemies are circling like wolves, Regnor’s tunnel vision is locked on one thing: keeping Everly and her unborn baby safe.
And oh, baby—when she’s taken? I was flipping pages like my life depended on it. He went full savage. Not just as a biker, but as a man who’s already claimed her in every way that counts.
I was living for the “he’s not the baby’s real father but he’s more of a dad than the biological one ever could be” trope. And let me tell you—Elizabeth Knox delivers it with fire, fists, and feels. I wanted to scream, sob, and straddle Regnor all at once. (Let’s be honest… mostly straddle.)

Wow… this book is so good! (The whole series is). Thank you, Elizabeth, for another amazing story!
The book took me through So. Many. Emotions. Anguish. Despair. Joy. Hope. Love. The more feelings a book inspires in me, the better the story.
A few Mewsings… It’s hard to read about domestic violence and abuse. I understood that Everly was not ready to leave the relationship, because of Dylan’s threats and systematic gaslighting of Everly. It was still hard to watch, especially as the violence (physical, emotional, and sexual) escalated. The author conveyed Everly’s feelings of powerlessness and the frustration and concern of her MC family really well. I was absolutely blown away by her inner strength and endurance, then her outer strength when she accepted Regnor’s help.
Regnor was also amazing. He embraced the idea that family is not always blood and that love can be a choice. Didn’t hurt any that he was hot, too.
I’m glad the club There is plenty of overarching plot to carry the series forward and I want to read more.

Mortify (Raiders of Valhalla: New Blood# 3 is the third book in the Valhalla MC series. this storyline is action packed, dark and twisted full of intrigue, passion, secrets, danger about family, relationships and love. The main characters are bold, intense, loyal and dangerous as family means everything to the Valhalla MC. This is Regnor and Everly's love story about betrayal, lies, vengeance and family relationships. Everly is an MC princess and daughter of Kraken who is overly protective of her, warning his brothers she is off limits. Regnor has always been drawn to Everly always watching her as he can see she is in an abusive relationship with Dylan, can he make her open up to him before it's too late? Now he vows to protect her despite Kraken's warning to stay away when she shows up with bruises and ends up pregnant. Regnor steps up claiming her and the baby in front of his club and her father as his. The fallout between him and Kraken turns violent, but with the club dealing with the biggest battle yet as Patriot is once again causing havoc, Kraken will have no choice but to agree to the relationship between his daughter and Regnor.
The romance between them is fast, seductive, emotional and heartfelt. Will he be able to protect her from Dylan and the danger that is headed towards her when she is kidnapped? Trigger will be abuse, and we see more then just a bit if you read Astrid's and seen what she came across with Everly and Dylan, then you'll know what's happening. We see much more as well as forcing himself on her and messing up her birth control pills. He, I won't be saying his name anymore for the hell he put on Everly and why she was his target or over a year and what he can learn by being in the clubhouse under a guise, or who he was ratting to.
The bogyman, The Patriot, the club has been chasing will be closer then every but will they finally take the man down and the poisonous drugs off the streets or will he keep slipping through the cracks like a cockroach?? Will the evil little rat get his dues or will he too slip through like a rat he is???
Everly, 22, Kraken's adopted daughter, actually she's his niece from his brother who was in the house when his brother killed her mother and himself, probably will know if you already read Kraken's story, and most likely why he wanted her to have a normal live outside of the club and warned that non of the guys there could touch her, ever.
Regnor Welsh, 33, full patch, had a thing for Everly for years but knew he couldn't go near her let alone touch without Kraken's furry. But he knows a victim of domestic violence when he sees one, since he witnessed his mother as a victim of his father, and he sees all the signs when Everly is around.

An MC princess her parents wanted more for her than MC life, and she ends up in a bad relationship that looks good on paper but is abusive behind closed doors. As it escalates, and her family is threatened, he steps forward to let her know that he sees her and is all in for her. When she realizes she is pregnant he claims her and the baby, willing to go to war with her dad his club brother for not staying away from her. There is MC drama to be navigated, as well as her violent ex. But she quickly learns the difference between a man who will use violence to protect his family, and one that uses it to hurt. This biker may be the one who looks like the thug but he is the one who shows up for her and will stand between her and any threat to her and her baby. He is the one ready to be a dad, to step up and build a family with her. This is such a sweet story, with the kind of man you want to be your book boyfriend. The abuse she suffers at the beginning might be triggering to some, but if you can write it out the tenderness that she gets from her biker and they happily ever after is everything. There is some good world building that the author does. This is the third book in the series and while each romances its own independent standalone I really suggest you read them in order as you get so much of club culture club politics information on their enemies and the other characters. The characters from previous stories also continue to show up and subsequent stories so you get life updates and it’s like visiting old friends. This story might be my favorite of the three, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next.

A well written novella that goes with this series. The novella has great characters, is easy to read and is a page turner. The novella also has drama, suspense, intrigue, action, steamy romance as well as a happily ever after.
A novella about a young woman who thought she was trapped in an abusive relationship until she met a man who would help her out of the relationship and it didn’t take long for them to find love with one another.
The man is with a club who’s trying to stop a guy and his men from killing people with their drugs.
During this time she was in an abusive relationship but when she finds out what her abuser has done as well as her condition she calls the club member for help. They decide to be together so that he can protect her.
The club tried to get the guy they have been going after and they finally get him, he tells them alot of information before the end. It doesn’t take long before the abuser comes to them to make a deal but instead of a deal they take him to a cabin where they get information out of him before his end.
At the end the Irish along with the Russians come to discuss their alliance and the arranged marriage that has been settled on. When the mother finds out she goes into hysterics even going so far as to leave for a short time. When the mother comes back an agreement has been made somewhat and the head of the club will talk to the Irish and Russians about it.
Three years later the two are married with their own family as well as their own place. There are still problems floating around but everyone is trying to push through their problems to become better.
The couple are happy and in love with another family member coming soon.

Mortify is the third story in the Raiders of Valhalla MC: New Blood series which is suspenseful and a page turning MC romance story. The story is beautifully written, exceptionally balanced and phenomenally executed by Elizabeth Knox. Elizabeth Knox continues to showcase what a talented author, storyteller and writer she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. In my opinion, she puts her all into creating and writing fantastic romance stories for a reader’s enjoyment. I can hardly wait to see what her next book will be about. Mortify has a fantastic plot, outstanding characters and an ending that took my breath away. The characters are fabulously written and phenomenally executed throughout the book. The main characters of Mortify are Everly and Regnor. The chemistry between these two characters is scorching hot and absolutely breathtaking. I loved getting to know both Everly and Regnor as well as seeing their feelings for one another grow stronger as their fantastic story progresses forward throughout the book. I LOVE that Everly and Regnor have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple raising their little girl and expecting another bundle of joy. Mortify is absolutely fantastic MC romance story which I thought to be captivating from beginning to end, entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. I would definitely give this book as a recommendation to anyone who is looking for a new MC romance novel to read.

I loved, loved, loved this story! The number of times I swooned over Ragnar are ridiculous (and I still can’t get enough!). Everly is a victim of an abusive boyfriend; a boyfriend (Dylan) who is not only disrespectful towards her, her needs and her confidence, but who also hides a darker secret that could get the whole club into trouble – not to mention his constant threats towards her brother. When Everly finds out that not only her, but another life she carries is also in danger, she decides to cut him loose, only for Regnor to step in and be everything she ever dreamed of; a fierce protector, a dedicated partner and so, so much more. Regnor wanted Everly for years. So, when she finds herself in danger he doesn’t hesitate for even a second. He is determined to face the wrath of her father (she is a club princess and supposed to be off limits after all) and, of course, protect her from Dylan at all cost. Everly has been through the ringer with Dylan, he’s abusive, manipulating, hurtful and just plain disgusting to her. Everyone sees it, especially Regnor and when Dylan begins to escalate things, it’s time that Everly chooses herself before she’s wiped from this earth by Dylan’s hands. Dylan isn’t who he portrays himself to be and in due time the truth will be revealed. All the brothers were warned by the Prez that she was off limits, and Regnor has watched her from the side lines for years wanting more and when the opportunity arises for him to step in and help, he’s there for her, taking her pain, holding her up, saving her in a way she could never repay. So many secrets as to who is involved with the Patriot and he’s been one step ahead every time, there’s a mole and they just need to figure out who. Regnor and Everly deserve a chance at happiness and hopefully Kraken will see just how much he loves his niece. I’m excited for the next chapter for this group with one of Rune’s daughters and her arranged marriage. I have a feeling it’s going to be really really good. I found this book on BookSprout.

It's a steamy, instalove, age-gap, opposites-attract, he falls first, fake relationship, secret pregnancy, curvy girl gets her biker dark romance. Regnor is a 32-year-old hunky member of the MC. Everly is a 21-year-old year old curvy girl in an abusive relationship. Regnor has had feelings for her for some time but always considered her off limits. When Everly finds out that she is pregnant, she knows she needs to leave Dylan for good. Regnor sees her being abused and offers to claim her and the baby as his. He will protect them. Everly agrees, and real feelings develop. The chemistry between these two was pure fire. Regnor was just so amazing with her and for her. I'm so glad they got the love and future they deserved. My heart broke for Everly for all she went through with Dylan. The trouble with the Patriot is resolved but a new overarching problem is presented. I'm interested to see how it will all resolve. It was so good but be sure to read the triggers. This had some really dark themes.

"I have just finished reading and OMG there are many emotions and feelings to put in words. As you might know these guys are fearless, protective and so caring they are hard to resist. Not gonna lie I was exasperated with Everly for not standing up for herself with her ex but I also understood what she went through was not easy and required courage, thankfully she had AN INCREDIBLE MAN a her side to hunt her fears down and protect her at all cost. I must say this series is addictive as it gives glimpses of other members and their possible stories that have you wanting more. Speaking of glimpses of the future...CAN WE JUST SPEAK ABOUT THAT DEAL!!!??? What in the world was that!!! Seriously I was so shocked too, like I never would have expected that turn of events and sadly promises not being fulfilled and a future without a choice covered up in a false sense of freedom. My heart is broken and definitely expecting the outcome. Wouldn't it be funny if instead of the first two options the agreement ended up with someone else that's part of the family?! That would be gold!!!"

On a serious note, this was dark. Abuse sadly was a plenty. Will have trigger points for some readers . Beware.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. As it's an interconnected series, reading the books in sequence helps with the timeline. Otherwise, each book focuses on one couple and this one is on Regnor and Everly. Note that there is physical abuse/domestic violence on the FMC by her ex, and also violence and death mentioned, so may be triggering for sensitive readers. Story was fast paced, intense, emotional and a touch of insta-love between Regnor and Everly. After everything Everly went through, Regnor's care, protectiveness and love helps her to feel safe and start believing she deserves more than what her ex has abused her into thinking she deserves. I was drawn into the story and hooked from the start, worrying about what was waiting around the corner, right up to the sweet and heartwarming epilogue, which happens 3-years into the future. Going to dive into the next book right now!.

What an amazing story this is bringing us Everly and Regnor. Everly’s boyfriend, Dylan is abusive, controlling and zapping what little confidence she has left, he is too smart to leave bruises where they can be seen, he constantly threatens her brother, who is in hospital doing rehab after losing his leg, to make sure she doesn’t tell anyone the truth about their relationship. When Everly finds out she is pregnant she decides she absolutely cannot stay with Dylan and will protect this baby. Regnor has wanted Everly for years but her father made it clear to everyone that she is off limits to all but he knew the signs of an abused woman, even if she wouldn’t admit it, he is going to step up protect her, claim that baby as his and he will make sure Dylan is dealt with in time. An absolute rollercoaster filled with action, danger, betrayal, retribution, friendship, family and love.

OMG this book was so heart wrenching. Everly is in a traumatic relationship and is being manipulated by her partner and I just cried at what she had to endure both physically and mentally. Regnor was so sweet and caring with Everly. He was her saviour in every way possible. The Raiders of Valhalla MC protect their own and although Everly does not want to get the club involved in her drama it soon becomes quite evident that she is in dire need of help. This book had so many wonderful moments and I loved how Ms Knox handled the matter of abuse with such delicate care. This is an amazing series and I have enjoyed each and every book but this book has become my favourite not only because of the characters but also because it deals with a lot more than the usual drama that the MC is constantly facing.

This is an exciting suspense filled MC forbidden romance story .Regnor can hardly stand to see Every flinch when her so call boyfriend moves she's been abused and emotionally abused she isn't the beautiful vibrant woman she once was .He's decided he's going to try and win her heart and get her away from that abusive jerk.When the club hits one of the Patriots stash houses they were almost trapped but then after destroying the drugs and taking out several of the Patriots men they burn down the place with the bodies inside.Regnor sees Every ex filming taking pictures of their bikes and the club members too. Everly is forbidden every brother has been warned but when she finds out she's pregnant Regnor says I love you and our baby she says but the baby isn't yours he said it doesn't take DNA to be a father.There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Regnor and Everly’s story continues the Raiders of Valhalla series. She’s in an abusive relationship and he’s the man who wants to rescue her. The only things standing between them are her fears and the edict her father laid down years ago that no one in the MC could date Everly. The storyline is well written with on screen beatings and rough sex, so be prepared if you have any triggers. The MC also has to deal with the Patriot, who they find out is Everly’s boyfriend’s boss . This one I read from start to finish without a break, and while some things are settled with the MC new things come to light that could break them ! So I can’t wait to read book 4 ! 4✨’s for a great storyline and good character chemistry.

Regnor has watched her for a while now and has wanted her for just as long. He's watched her while she's been in other relationships and beaten down by Dylan. Now he's stepping up and making sure she's safe, loved, and cherished.
Everly thought she found the man that would be her forever, but he was a wolf in sheep's clothing. She wouldn't listen when she was told to tread carefully with Dylan, he had a reputation, but she thought she had found someone to love her and care about her.
I love this series and really liked Mortify. These characters are strong, resilient, and love deeply. Mortify has some secrets that will be revealed, and another couple finding their HEA, but there will be danger, drama, and destruction as well. These books are always hard to put down once I start reading them.

I love this series and really liked Mortify. These characters are strong, resilient, and love deeply. Mortify has some secrets that will be revealed, and another couple finding their HEA, but there will be danger, drama, and destruction as well. These books are always hard to put down once I start reading them.
