Amanda Cerreto grew up with a love of books and an appreciation for anything that could lead to a story. After reading Harriet the Spy, she camped out in various parts of her neighborhood, writing down minute details about her neighbors' activities. She often brewed up several short stories based on their mundane actions, like going to the post office. In college, she majored in literature and took a creative writing course as an elective. It was here that her love for writing was reborn, and when she began to seriously think of writing a novel. After college, she went on to earn her MA in English with an emphasis on creative writing.
Cerreto has written and published several non-fiction pieces, including an article for the VA about her father's military service. She has had short stories published in Collateral Journal and the Voices of War Anthology.
Her debut novel, Fall From Grace, was released on January 7, 2014. The Autumn Effect was picked up by the War Writers' Campaign and released in May of 2014.
