Step into the decaying history with Time of the UnDead, a charity anthology that reimagines humanity’s darkest moments through the lens of the zombie apocalypse.
Curated by Lee Edwards, this collection features 13 gripping tales from talented authors who transport you across the ages, reimagining history’s darkest moments—from the blood-soaked battles of the Crusades to the haunting streets of the Black Plague, the glory of the Roman Empire, and the turmoil of the Civil War.
Each story breathes undead life into historical eras, weaving narratives of survival, horror, and resilience. It’s a perfect mix of history, action, and the eerie thrill of the zombie apocalypse.
But this book isn’t just about great stories—it’s also about making a difference. 100% of proceeds from this anthology will benefit the Nora Jane Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding research and supporting families affected by Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH).
With only two research institutions in the U.S. studying this rare and devastating disorder, your purchase helps bring hope to countless lives. Dive into history’s rotting footsteps and join the fight against NKH with Time of the UnDead.

A fun and great read. This collection of stories has kept me engaged throughout the entire book.In a broad sense, it combines both history and thriller even though its genre is horror. It winds through history recreating moments of time through the crusades , Black Plague, Civil War, and more with the undead. These multiple authors have brought forth engaging and gripping stories that have taken me on a wild ride that leaves me with the feeling I didn't want these stories to stop. Knowing that 100% of the proceeds from this book will benefit The Nora Jane Foundation a non profit dedicated to funding research, and supporting families affected by NKH a rare genetic disorder will keep me looking forward to more from this group of authors.
I have read some of the authors in this book and was impressed with the stories of the ones I hadn't read before. Kudos to all the authors in this book. I highly recommend this book to all fans of the horror/zombie genres.
There are a couple of good stories in here, but there are more that are poorly written and have horrible editing. I give this one a hard pass, despite what seemed like a fun idea.
