Stranded With The Mountain Man is Book 2.5 of the Jagged Saints series and also part of the multi-authored Whispered Echoes Series. It's a short and steamy, opposites-attract, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her biker mountain man second-chance romance. Deena is a 33 year old sassy and curvy botanist. Rosco is a 35 year old hunky, grumpy, reclusive mountain man and former member of the Jagged Saints MC. He and Deena were together 12 years ago, but she left him for her career, and she felt he chose his MC over her. Now she is back on a 6 month sabbatical to see the state of the cabin she inherited from her aunt. On the first night back, the roof collapses during a bad storm, and she finds herself on Rosco's doorstep seeking shelter. Things are tense at first, but as they spend time together, walls begin to crumble, and things get hot and steamy. But will she stay or leave again? Will his occasional involvement with the Jagged Saints cause problems? These two were perfect together. Their chemistry was so hot. You could feel their hurt from the past. I'm so glad they found their way back to each other to get their well-earned HEA. I loved it and can't wait to read Brick's book next!.

Rain is pouring down and her GPS is useless on this treacherous mountain road. But Deena Wilson finally makes it to Lavender Hill, the driveway rutted and branches scraping the doors as she passes them. She finally drives up to her great-aunt Millie's once-charming cottage. Now the white paint is gray, the shutters handing crooked, and the porch sagging. Even the key sticks in the lock and the lights don’t work. She turns on the breaker and sees water stains all over the ceiling. She has 6 months to fix up this place to live in or sell it. Seven pots are spread out in the kitchen to catch the leaks. She explores each room to see what work is needed, evicting the mice in the living room. Her great-aunt's bedroom remains untouched since her death 3months ago, but she decided to leave that room inspection until the morning. She sat on the couch and thought about Rosco who chose his motorcycle club over her 12 years ago. Then a loud thunderclap sounded and the lights went out. The lights won’t come back on, but a loud crack and a creaking sound above turns into water pouring through the roof. The ceiling sags and she needs to run outside. As if this isn’t bad enough, a huge pine branch is now blocking the driveway! And there is no signal to get a phone call out for help. The nearest hotel is a half hour away in good weather. Is she desperate enough to walk to Rosco Stone's cabin, 3 miles of mountain road, in a thunderstorm, at night with the storm getting even closer?
Rosco quit the Jagged Saints MC 3 years ago. He sees his dog Bear stand up and growl… someone is outside. His shotgun ready, he opens the door and recognizes Deena who left him 12 years ago for a fancy college to prepare for a botany career rather than marrying him. But he can’t turn her away in this weather. As the storm keeps them stuck together, both are finding those old feelings are still there. But Rosco is hiding something about the Jagged Saints MC and why he quit. Will Rosco’s returning to the MC, to repay a debt he feels he owes his friend Tank who almost died protecting him, keep Rosco and Deena apart now? Will she understand what Mrs. Havers tells her, that he's not choosing the club over her this time but is honoring that debt to the man who saved his life? Knowing that, she will have choices to make, but what will she choose? Her career, or the honorable man she loves?
Deena left Serenity Hollow 12 years ago to go to college and pursue a career as a botanist. But her aunt left her her cabin, so she was back to figure out what to do with it. But her first night there, it's evident that the cabin is unlivable, a storm collapsing the roof. With a tree branch blocking her car, the only choice was to walk through the woods to the closet neighbor. The one person she was hoping to avoid while she was here. When Rosco opened his door in the middle of a storm, Deena was about the last person he expected. He was sure letting her in was a bad idea, but he couldn't leave her out in the rain, either. There's a lot of pain and history between them, and he hasn't forgotten the way she left 12 years ago. But now the storm has made the mountain road impassable, so they're stuck until it's cleared. They've both changed so much, but in some ways, not at all. There's still a pull between them that gets harder to ignore. But going back down that road won't change things. She's still going to leave again. This was really good. The past hung between them, even as they navigated sharing space again, unresolved emotions eating at them. Memories haunted them, good and bad. They were both so stubborn, and it took an outside perspective to knock some sense into them. Here's to small towns and nosy neighbors who remind us what's important.

Mountain Man Romance. Deena is a young woman who left her hometown after her boyfriend, Rosco, chose an MC over their relationship. But now she's back after her aunt's death to study mountain plants. When she arrives on the mountain, she finds herself in the middle of a storm, and a house that's slowly beginning to collapse. She then finds herself taking refuge at Rosco's house and getting stuck with him during the storm. Rosco is a man with a dark past in an MC, but now he's found refuge in the mountains to move on. But his peace is shattered in the middle of the storm when his ex-girlfriend, Deena, is on his porch. The two of them find themselves living together despite their breakup, which still has no real explanation, but living under the same roof also brings them closer together. Will Rosco and Deena turn the page on the past to live a beautiful story and will Rosco always choose the MC rather than a quiet life with Deena...

Twelve years ago, a misunderstanding and miscommunication caused Deena (Dee Dee) and Rosco (Ross) to break up, with Dee Dee going off to college and Ross joining a MC. Now both are back on the mountain and stranded in Ross’ cabin because of a storm, and questioning life as they know it.
The story plot is intense for such a short book. There are a lot of supporting characters to keep up with, with my favorite being Mrs. Havers, the sweet, busybody matchmaker. There are plenty of twists to keep readers engaged from the first page until the end. The story was a mildly steamy, emotional, engaging suspenseful drama that was full of struggle, angst, regrets, and perceived betrayal. It is a MC-lite, close proximity, second chance romance that is a fast-paced page-turner. I really liked this book and definitely recommend it.

Love, Love, Loved this book. Deena and Roscoe embody everything I love about Romance Novels. The give and take the ups and down. The sometimes annoying, stupid arguments that finally gets them to acknowledge something they were too afraid to admit.
Deena’s a big city Botanist that returns to her Aunt’s mountain cabin after her passing only to get stranded with the one mountain man she hoped to avoid.
Roscoe is a retired MC Enforcer who retreated to his Grandfather’s hunting cabin for peace and solitude. The one thing he could never have expected was the ex-girlfriend who broke his heart showing up in the middle of a storm seeking shelter.
Silence, fighting, joking and so much more await you in this book, and it’s totally worth it.

This seemed like a bit more than your average steamy mountain man romance…. It has ALL the feels…. Sadness that Deena feels at Rosco choosing his MC over her…Roscoe’s sadness at Deena leaving for her career…? Regret on both parts?…. Hope…that they might have a second chance when Deena returns to the mountain 12 years later to rehab the inherited falling down house from her Aunt Millie and half the house caves in on her in a storm causing her to seek refuge in the only place nearby…Roscoe’s cabin…. Can they bury their pasts and make a new future together??? Ooooooohhhh it was really good….🥰🥰🥰
There’s a lot of tension, some drama, a lot of love, some steam… a great escape 😍.

Stranded with the Mountain Man is an intense and emotional novella filled with old hurts, new connections, and chemistry that crackles amd sizzles. Deena is brilliant, stubborn, sassy, and driven. Leaving her love over a decade ago to pursue her career was a monumental choice with lasting consequences, and when she seeks his help in a torrential storm the fire between them is electric. I loved diving into this world and getting to know these two supporting characters as much as Deena and Roscoe. They each struggled and had so much to work through and watching them reconnect is a brilliant tale of love overcoming all. I can’t wait to dive into the other books in this series.

OMG 😱 this was the best story ever. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. It was addicted and I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Deena and Rosco don't start off on the right foot but look but the chemistry between them was sexual tension. The physical attraction was undeniable as they couldn’t fight the feeling and the temptation any longer in this moment. Maybe she was falling in love with him at the right time that will change her life forever. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t regret reading or be disappointed. Deena comes back to her aunts mountain cabin for a sabatical only to find the house in such disrepair that the roof caves in on her the first night during a storm. The only option she has is to ask Rosco, he ex, for a place to stay to wait out the storm. Rosco has been on the mountain for the past 3 years trying to find peace but it seems to be harder to find than he was hoping for, until Deena shows up on his porch. She reminds him of what they gave up and together they find home and peace in each other.

Great story where after 12 years apart given a second chance love prevails. Deena left the mountain to go to school to become a botanist. When she left she had to say good by to Roscoe. He left the mountain and went to join the Saint motorcycle club. For three years he has been back on the mountain doing woodworking. Deena is back on the mountain after her aunt passed away leaving her a home to take care of. When a storm totally caves in the roof she ends up and Roscoe’s where things get real interesting.
I enjoyed this book so much. The two characters, Rosco and Deena, are quite stubborn. It’s fantastic that they were able to work out their problems. Deena left twelve years ago to pursue a career and seemingly left Rosco in the dust. He had some extremely difficult years after she left. I appreciate how the story shows both Deena and Rosco realizing their mistakes and admitting them. It wasn't just one-sided. It's an excellent book, with a perfect spice and a beautiful HEA.

Deena and Rosco once were everything until they weren’t. Miscommunication led to the two of them parting only to be thrown back together 12 years ago thanks to a storm.
What follows is navigating the past while trying not to fall again.
This short read is a great palate cleanser for anyone needing a bit of a reset.

What if the choices you made worked out but we’re not quite what you needed. Do they have the courage to try again? The people in this story are perfectly crafted and I want to be there with them. Townspeople that remember and care. Finding a way home with an awesome happy ending…priceless
If I found myself stranded on a mountain, I would want it to be with Rosco. Deena and Rosco don't start off on the right foot but look out because if you thought the storm they are dealing with is electrical just you wait and see what else becomes full of electricity and hot as well.
This story was a good time, being that the MCs had history helped understand why they split . I was hoping they both opened up to the idea of trying again . Good read
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is a good second chance for Rosco and Deena. I liked that they both realize that they have to work at it for it to work.

Enjoyed this second chance for Rosco and Deena. They hadn't seen each other for twelve years when she appeared on his doorstep. When all the hurt and misunderstanding resurfaced can they get beyond them? Really loved their story! Received a free copy.
