Hey there! I'm Nisha S. Kumar, an entrepreneur with an MBA, running a business that somehow hasn't gone up in flames (yet). But let's be real—my true passion lies in concocting stories wilder than my kids' excuses for not eating vegetables.
As a child, I wasn't just watching movies; I was mentally rewriting them. Honestly, I've written more unfinished stories than I've had hot dinners.

My laptop was basically a graveyard for half-baked plots and star-crossed lovers who never quite crossed. But then I became a mom, mastered the art of typing with one hand while balancing a baby on my hip, and suddenly, finishing a chapter didn't seem so impossible.

I'm a genre-hopping bookworm with a soft spot for romance. Call it ‘chick-lit’ and I'll come at you with my heaviest hardcover. They say love and laughter make everything better. From the moment I read the Dedication, I knew I was in for a treat; the mood was set. Having worked with Nisha, I already knew the stories, still I couldn’t resist diving into them again.

Reading this book was like opening up a box of decadent chocolates, each bite-sized story a delicious surprise—rich with flavour, addictive and impossible to resist. I read the first story, loved it. Read the second—Wow. By the time I read the third, fourth, and so on, I kept thinking, the next story can’t possibly top this… but it did, again and again.

There’s something for everyone—office romance (who doesn’t love a boss employee equation), a cricketing romance (come on, we all have swooned over a cricketer), a best friend’s brother (meet your childhood crush in the most unexpected place, oh, yes), a friends to lovers romance (with a dollop of umm, ghostly intervention and a pickle jar).

And then comes enemies to lovers romance (Viraj is oh so hot, and the shaadi ka pheras—totally swoonworthy), a Hollywood romance (I never knew amnesia could play cupid), a crusader romance (a hatke romance, with the funniest meet cute and proposal ever), a forbidden romance (Again Zor, uff, the bad boy we hate, but secretly love. Why are bad boys so irresistible?), a single parent romance (my fav trope, an adorable kid, and the monologues, a masterstroke.) and finally a romantasy (a hulk-like hero, a smart, author heroine, a mystery and lots of beachy, sun-soaked moments).

Every story leaves you spellbound, making you swoon, cry, and laugh out loud. Nisha’s writing is evocative, witty, and packed with cheeky humour (her usp) that had me giggling nonstop. Also, this book is sprinkled with a lot of Bollywood tadka, making it so relatable. Not to mention her heroes, all 6 ft. hotties with enough charm to make you blush. Give me hotness and humour, and I’m sold.

A short, swoony, and cute read, perfect with your morning chai or a bowl of popcorn, this one is a must read guys.

P.S. – The Glossary. I loved it. Not only was it educative, it was also damn entertaining.

The range of stories includes everything from office romance to enemies to lovers, and from cricket ground romance to a best friend’s brother. Each story takes you on a journey filled with fun and emotion.

While the book features ten tales, a few truly stand out to me:

1. Debrief with the Devil - This story revolves around a boss and employee in an office setting. Their encounters are hilarious, but it is Aryanveer's confession that steals the show.

2. Out Of Bed - In this story, Idika and Parth find themselves at a deserted cottage. Idika is pleasantly surprised to see Parth, her long-time crush, in a towel. Their much-needed break leads to a heartwarming happily ever after.

3. Guess Who Is Not The One - My favorite couple, Viraj and Avni, are captivating from the very first moment. Although the story involves a love triangle, Viraj’s charm makes it hard not to root for him. Poor Shaurya can't even stand up to his older brother! 😂

Nisha's writing is both gripping and emotional, perfectly blending romance and fun. Reading her stories feels like watching a captivating series on television, where various characters entertain you with their passion and love.

This book was such a vibe!! Each story was short, fun, easy to read, and just the kind you can’t put down once you start. I didn’t even realize how fast time passed while reading it. It's packed with humor, comedy, and the sweetest happy endings!!

Story 1 – Anushka’s humor and sarcasm?? 10/10!! The way she calls Aryanveer “Devil” had me laughing out loud—honestly, the guy deserved it! And the way he was described? Gave me serious Sidharth Malhotra feels.

Story 2 – Sara’s reaction to seeing Kabir? So real. I mean, Henry Cavill lookalike?? Who wouldn’t melt? Her inner thoughts and jokes were hilarious—loved her!

Story 3 – Idika and Parth were super cute! Short but so sweet. You could tell they both fell first and harder. Chef’s kiss!

Story 4 – Siya and Raghuveer’s story hit me. Sad in some parts but beautiful. And Malati?? She STOLE the show!! I need more of her!!

Story 5 – Avni and Viraj’s story was hands down my FAVOURITE!! Viraj was so caring, and Avni felt like a soft pink rose—gentle, sweet, and perfect. Total OTP energy.

Story 6 – Maya and Zach??? I need a whole book for them, please!! Zach was just so amazing and swoon-worthy and Maya was the perfect match. They’re my second fave!! I'd like one Zach pleasee!!! 🤭🫣

Story 7 – Zivaan and Zoya were the definition of opposites attract. Zoya’s humor, Aadhya's small scenes here and there, and mainly.. Zivaan. He was amazing. 👌🤌

Story 8 – Avika and Zoravar gave us the classic bad boy x good girl vibe—and I loved how it ended!! Most sweetest ending 💖🫶

Story 9 – Rohan and Alisha were sooo adorable!! Rohan was full of love, and Alisha’s feelings never faded. But Dhruv?? Show stealer. He was funny, cute and smart. Best character!! 🎉👏

Story 10 – Varun and Raya were EVERYTHING. The fact that she’s a writer made her so relatable, and don’t get me started on Varun’s smile—The way the author kept saying how beautiful Varun's smiles were made me want to see it in real life. 🤩

Overall, this book was such a fun and adorable ride!! Every story had its own magic. The female characters were all witty, sarcastic, and full of personality, and the male leads? Let’s just say they were all walking green flags with hotness overload (and a little bit of red that by mistakenly spilled on them 🫣🤭). Loved how they cared for their girls in their own unique way and there were many show stealers (and I loved them!!). I seriously wanted some of these to be full-length standalones because they were that good. Personally, Maya and Zach stole my heart the most!!

I picked up this book thinking I’d read one or two stories and save the rest for later. Ha! Who was I kidding? I devoured all ten in one sitting. This anthology is like a binge-worthy rom-com series in book form—except instead of one OTP, you get TEN swoony, sassy, slow-burn-to-instant-fire love stories, each with its own wild twist, laugh-out-loud moment, and heart-squeezing ending.

Highlights? EVERYTHING.

Friends to lovers with a literal amnesia plot? Sold.

The best friend’s brother who’s off-limits but obviously not that off-limits? Gimme.

A pickle jar turned matchmaker? Yes, that actually happens—and it’s ADORABLE.

The romance feels well developed even in short chapter and the author balances humour and emotional with ease.
Of course with such a wide range of characters and plot there's not always time left to explore deeper character development.
You get moments... Not long arcs.
Gimpses ..... Notfull portraits.
But sometimes that ALL YOU NEED.

For me the story of Raya and Varuna, the glowing ache of The immortal romance and the quite heart break of the cricket Love story all stood out. And yes Viraj stole a piece of my heart. ❤️

This is a book you read for the joy of it. For the swoons. For the, "OHH NO, DID THAT JUST HAPPEN??" For the rush of it all.

If you are in a reading slum or you just want something deliciously chaotic and romantic to get lost in ..... This is your cure.

I definitely regret stalling this read because it just became my new favorite book. It has everything—from moments that made me swoon, to emotional scenes that tugged at my heart, and of course, the elite “my wife” scene (iykyk). Damm...not another love story is filled with 10 different love stories which are totally different from each other and has their own unquienes. Every couples is so lovely that it’s Impossible to choose one as my favorite.

But the second story in the book is pretty new and something which is rare. Let me Says about their story which definitely makes you feel even more interesting🙈🤭

So Sara meet a stranger in cricket who helped her to get inside when she came instead of her friend. And they debated over the team and caption whom she called arrogant also questioned his captaincy skills. But it’s turned out that the stranger to be the caption, The Kabir Bhargav. And when he came to meet her after the match is the best thing. It’s literally gave me butterflies 🦋 🙈💙

See if one story is this interesting and exicted, imagine others nine stories. You will find many tropes in romance which are actually my favorite. Like office romance, bestfriend's brother, fake finance, anemicia and a lot. Every couples story is so interesting and you won't feel like it's incomplete even when they are short. Each story is filled with so much love and emotions💗✨️

I literally fell for author's writing. The way she wrote 10 stories in few pages but also with right amount of story and the ending was each one is my favorite. I also love how she ended each story with a kiss between the couples😩💘🙈

Damn... not another love story consists of ten stories including everything from workplace romance to sports to romantasy to best friend's brother to childhood love, every trope that I love in one???!!! It was so easy to follow and get into each story that I found myself completing this without knowing I was at the last story. If you are in reading slump and want to read a fast paced but book with great writing and plot, read this one!!!

Tho, I love every story wholeheartedly, here are the top three that I loved the most:
1. Playing the long-est game
This one is a second-chance romance (which is my guilty pleasure I’ll eat up a story with this trope) between Alisha and Rohan. The bond between these two was the cutest and Dhruv deserves his own book (that way I’ll meet his parents again). The scene where Rohan and Dhruv met first time and played cricket together, I was smiling ear to ear.

2. Guess who’s not the one
This story follows Avni and Viraj. Avni was so excited as she was a marrying the guy, with whom she was in love with all her life and that is not other than her childhood best friend- Shaurya, but she came to know that she was not arranged to marry him but HIS OLDER BROTHER- Viraj, the person who made his life mission to torment her when they were kids. But to not disappoint their families they decided to continue this arrangement as fake-fiancés.

3. Out of … the bed
Idika has recently broken off an engagement and she wanted to run from all the knowing looks, that’s when her best friend offered a retreat at her family cottage and when Idika reached at the place, she found that she was not staying alone but with her best friend’s brother- Parth Bedi, on whom she has crush on since long time.

How many Romance Stories can you read one after the another before you can say that, Damn! Not another love story?? For me?? No count...Especially after reading this excellent Novel with 10 love stories that hooks you, I am just left with wanting more.
This book had 10 different love stories, each unique in its own way. Some are short, and some are long, but all are beautifully written. What makes this book different from any other Romance Novel is that it has 10 different stories, unique characters, and different varieties of tropes that you will just love.

What I liked about this book-
1. Each story had its unique charm, tropes that were just lovely.
2. It made me giggle like a teenager with the cutest stories.
3. Wonderful writing style, with smooth and flowing narrations and dialogues.
4. Interesting and vibrant cover which makes it even more intriguing for a reader to grab the book. Which is a good thing.
5. The Fonts the style were used properly and were interesting.
6. I absolutely loved the dedication page.

What I would like to point out-
1. Well, there isn't much to point out, but I do wish it could have been longer. Because you know me and my love for Romance.
2. Maybe a few minor errors, but I didn't pay attention, so...

Overall-
Well, I have said it all, I just loved it and I am just left here wanting more Romance Stories from the Author. This book is highly recommended to all Romance Lovers.

Okay, first things first—Damn, Not Another Love Story is exactly what it says… and yet, it’s everything a rom-com lover secretly craves! This collection of 10 short stories is packed with humor, sizzling chemistry, and every trope you can possibly ask for—office romance, cricket romance, brother’s best friend, billionaire, single mother, and even good old enemies-to-lovers tension. If romance were a buffet, this book would be the all-you-can-eat special!

What I absolutely loved was the constant sass and sarcasm the girls bring to the table. From the first page to the last, they had me laughing, rolling my eyes (in a good way), and grinning like an idiot. And let’s not even get started on the men—chef’s kiss! They’re the perfect balance of swoon-worthy and annoyingly irresistible.

Now, I won’t lie, I usually prefer my stories long, with that extra depth and angst that makes me suffer just a little (okay, a lot). So naturally, I enjoyed the longer stories in this collection more, especially the second half (yes, I counted). Some stories felt like they ended too quickly, but they’re short stories for a reason, and they definitely didn’t hold back on the romance and chemistry. Winks.

I just finished reading "Not Another Love Story" and What did i just read?! This book is like a romantic comedy on steroids - it's got 10 different love stories, each one more adorable and hilarious than the last. Enemies-to-lovers? Check. Office romance? Check. Childhood best friends to lovers? Check, check, check! It's like the author took every possible romance trope, threw them into a blender, and hit puree.

The result is a book that's equal parts swoony, funny, and so enjoyable. I mean, who hasn't dreamt of a love story where they had a crush on their best friend's brother or fallen for their office nemesis? The author's writing is witty and engaging, with internal monologues that had me giggling like a lunatic. I'm pretty sure my parents thought "Is it the time to finally look for asylums?"

The moment I picked it, the book superglued itself to my hands. I swear, I didn't mean to stay up until 3 am reading this book and walk the entire next day like a zombie, it just sort of happened okay? And don't even get me started on the emotional rollercoaster I rode. I laughed, I cried, I screamed at the characters (don't worry, I won't give away any spoilers)!

My top picks? Chapter 1 Aryanveer's absurd excuses were comedy gold! I couldn't help but laugh out loud at the ridiculous, hilarious banter - the humor was absolutely on point!

It was the perfect snack for my Hopeless Romantic mind !!!!

I loved loved loved this book so much. Every chapter did something to my hopeless romantic heart and God! I want to read every story in detail now. This book is exactly what I wanted to read over my weekend which made my heart full because of all the 10 stories that it had. The writing was so fast paced and literally so so so entertaining. My favourite chapter was well every single chapter. None of the chapters were boring and I couldn't put the book down.

Literally read it one sitting. I loved the book so much and I hated that it ended.

Then there’s Idika and Parth, stuck together in a cottage. Idika’s long-time crush shows up—wearing nothing but a towel! 🫣And guess whattt, they have to share a bed. Talk about a moment to remember! Their little getaway turns into the sweetest love story.🙂‍↕️🫶🏻

And then there’s Raya and Varun—a fantasy romance between a sea god and a writer. The story was magical, full of surprises, and the final plot twist? Completely unexpected!❤️

Damn... Not another love story by author nisha has my heart. Ten different stories Ten different couple make fall in love with them. At the end it will make you very hard to choose your favourite couple.

The book got me hooked from the first chapter. And my favourite top three favourite is chained, actually she yells, he spells on the sea shore and the exception to every rule has my all love .

From the writing style by author to all the stories I can give more than five stars it was perfect. It made me so difficult to even choose my favourite couple. Everyone chemistry is so good . And every story has different tropes .

This is the first time iam reading anthalogy and I fell in love with it.

If you are looking for anthalogy book contains ten different stories than this book is for you.

It's a collection of short rom-com stories, ten bit-sized stories full of drama, romance and so much fun moments. Even though it was almost predictable like what's going to happen next, I still enjoyed it so much and had my heart fluttering moments. I was giggling over it like a teenager in love.

All the stories had swoon-worthy, heart fluttering and sweet melting moments. Each story has it's own charm and it's heart fluttering plot. It's one of those light read which anyone can pick and ends up loving it. Characters were well portrayed and expressed. Maybe some people not find it as their cup of tea but I really had a fun time while reading all these stories.

I liked that the Author writing style is simple and easy going as per the genre. Would love to read another works of her. So, if you're looking for some light read and wants to swoon in romance, go for this Novel.
