It's baseball season and Will Stover is ready to lead his team to a state championship. On the way, though, he must learn to deal with adversity both on the baseball field and in his personal life. In this, the third book of The Will Stover Sports Series, Will realizes there are consequences to ignoring good advice.
I finished the series this morning and wish there were more books. This one is probably my favorite of the series since it's about baseball and I do know that sports a little bit better than about football or basketball.
Again, this book is highly recommended for tweens and younger, especially for boys who are reluctant readers. Butler will take you right on in the story and carry the reader along to the last page. Here's to hoping for additional books for the series as I am curious to see how Will Stover turns out in the remaining years of his high school career.
