An MMM Hurt/Comfort Erotica.

I gave them what they craved as they repaired my broken soul.

Knox

I’m the owner of Legends Nightclub, a safe place where the elite come to wheel and deal. It’s made me a wealthy man. My stepson, Finn, is more than family; we’re lovers. It’s him who convinces me to hire Ryder Jennings as a bartender at the club. But Finn wants Ryder for more than making drinks. He wants Ryder to become the third in our relationship, and I will do anything for Finn, even if that means I have to share.

Finn

I would do anything for Knox. And he would do anything for me. So when I tell him I want Ryder to be a part of our relationship, Knox doesn’t hesitate to agree. It’s only supposed to be temporary as we explore a different side to our dynamic. But Ryder’s innocence and the pain he tries to hide draws Knox and me closer to him. He needs us, and we need him. Will he accept our offer and explore a desire he’s never known?

Ryder

I left Nebraska for the busy world of Washington, DC, to get away from my pain. In reality, I ran to start over. I quickly found a bartending job at the infamous Legends nightclub owned by Knox Porter. His stepson, Finn Larson, soon approaches me with an unusual offer. I’ve never been with a man before—let alone two—though I’ve always wanted to. Now is my chance to explore freely, without fear. It doesn't take me long to fall for the two men... and for them to start healing me.

Courtney W. Dixon

Courtney W. Dixon loves to write steamy hurt/comfort romance, giving her characters challenges, struggles, and sometimes trauma... Fine, a LOT of trauma. Her team teases her about charging her for their therapy bills after reading one of her books.

She loves to add variety and multiple tropes in her stories along with different types of dynamics/relationships. And she writes her characters as having flaws, imperfections, and who don't always do the right thing. Humans are sometimes frustrating, never perfect, and make a lot of mistakes in their lives. Courtney enjoys pushing her characters, making their HEAs so much more worth it when they get there. Mental health is a big feature in her books.

She loves her coffee ice cream and popcorn a little too much. And her cat, Olly, is her co-writer, where he sleeps on an ottoman under her desk as her muse. Actually, he's rather useless, but he's adorable.

Just finished Milked by Courtney W. Dixon and what a ride. Tbh, I’m not usually into MMM or love triangles, but I went for it because Courtney just never disappoints. This one felt fresh, sweet, and full of heart.

It’s a fresh, romantic, easy read that hits all the right spots. Knox and Finn are already in a relationship when Ryder shows up—this adorable country boy running from his past and leaving Nebraska behind. He ends up in the big city, just trying to start over, and somehow, their lives collide in the most beautiful way.

I’m so in love with Ryder. He’s the softest, most precious thing ever, and there were scenes where I seriously just wanted to wrap him up in a big hug and never let go.

The way their relationship builds is so wholesome. Everything’s consensual, full of honest conversations and real care. There’s no drama just for the sake of it, no weird jealousy—just three guys figuring it out together in the healthiest way possible.

The spicy scenes are chef’s kiss—hot as hell, filthy in the best way, and there’s a good amount of them. I loved every single one and they’re so well written. 🥵❤️

Also, Atlas? Yeah. I’m watching. 😏

Totally worth the read—hot, romantic, and full of feels. It gave me exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I got completely wrapped up in the story, the characters, the emotions, and every spicy, tender moment in between. It made me smile, swoon, and feel all warm inside. I truly enjoyed every page and loved the ride from start to finish.

ARC Review

4/5 ✨️ | 4/5 🌶 | 2/5 🥺

Milked surprised me in ways I didn’t see coming. What starts out as a steamy, forbidden stepfather/stepson setup quickly turns into something much more layered and emotionally intense once Ryder enters the mix.

The story follows three men: Knox Porter, a 49-year-old nightclub owner with that salt-and-pepper dominance; Finn Larson, his 23-year-old model stepson with beach-boy looks and a soft heart; and Ryder Jennings, a 26-year-old bartender who knows he’s bisexual but has never acted on it. Their connection begins with physical attraction, sure, but as things deepen, it becomes clear this story is about much more than just heat.

What really stuck with me was how well Dixon balanced the spicy with the heartfelt. Yes, the intimacy is front and center—and it’s hot—but it’s also used to peel back emotional layers, especially for Ryder. His backstory hit me the hardest. There’s this lingering sense that he’s running from something, and when you find out he lost his twin sister Rowan in a tragic accident involving her abusive boyfriend, it hits like a punch to the chest. Suddenly, his need for connection, distraction makes so much sense. His emotional unraveling and eventual vulnerability felt raw and real.

Another thing I loved was how consent and emotional care were woven into the relationship dynamic. Even with the obvious age and experience gaps, there’s a constant focus on communication, respect, and making sure everyone feels safe. When Ryder starts to spiral, Knox and Finn don’t just push through it—they slow down, prioritize his wellbeing, and show up for him in a way that feels incredibly tender.

Overall, Milked is filthy, yes—but it’s also surprisingly sweet and full of heart. If you’re in the mood for a messy, emotional, and very spicy ride with three complicated but lovable men, this one’s absolutely worth a read.

It was Knox who owned the show. Finn and I were just his puppets, and I was completely on board with that.

Just as promised in the preface, an MMM erotica with a hurt/comfort plot. It’s mostly smut, though, let’s be honest.
A hot and taboo stepson and stepfather couple bring in a third. Lots and lots of threesome sex ensues.

The plot was slightly angsty, the romance sexy but also sweet. But, weirdly enough, I’m 100% ok with Daddy, but Finn calling Knox Father makes me uncomfortable.
So, all in all, a fun & spicy story about three men getting it on.

{Side note: despite the title, and I may be the only one that thought this, this book does not contain any lactation kink. My bad.}

“You’re ours.” Finn pressed a kiss to my head from behind. “You belong to us now.”

(2.5/5) It was interesting, I think. Although I feel like the really interesting things weren't really put on paper and were at most touched on or dealt with superficially. There were some good ideas, but in the end little came through. I'm actually a bit disappointed.

This is a toe-curling read!

Loved Daddy Knox and his boys - attention loving Finn and shy Ryder. Their dynamic felt very natural. Of course, the book is HAWT, but plot is also not in the last place :D Ryder's hurt, things that Finn had to endure made them real people. Both young men went through a lot and I'm happy they had Knox by their sides.

To be fair, I smiled like a loon almost all the time while reading. Probably not cool to read it in public, I guess :D Anyway, I'm super excited for this steamy series to continue! Can't wait for the next book!

This, unfortunately, did not hit for me. I can’t even really pinpoint why but the dialogue was weird and the dynamics were not cool for the most part.

Knox and Finn are the established couple bringing in a third. Cool. But they make sure to emphasize that THEY are the priority to each other. That they are each other’s first loves and first priorities and then the next day they tell Ryder they love him? What?“You will always be my priority and first love” in a conversation about loving someone else is wild. They talk about ending it if Ryder “fractures” them until the third act. So for 2/3s of the book, they’re cool with dropping him even though they’re simultaneously discussing how they’re in love with him? No. Eww.

ALSO: “I am always on the top, meaning no one gets to fuck me, but you are more than welcome to fuck Finn, and hopefully, he can fuck you.” I AM ALWAYS ON THE TOP??? Wtf are you talking about 😂

These guys never go a scene without a drink either. Their initial scene is literally them getting Ryder drunk, seducing him and then having him sign a contract and NDA under the influence. All of them require alcohol for every minor inconvenience or just to have a conversation.

The dialogue reads as Victorian time travelers attempting to cosplay as modern day men. “Indeed? Well it’s working.” INDEED? Knox says “indeed” at least 10 times. I know he’s 50 but he’s not 500.

The “plot” wasn’t even a plot in my opinion. It was tertiary if anything and felt like it existed solely to say that it existed and not to move them forward.

At the end of the day, I still think it was a me thing. I don’t think it was bad, but it was hard to read for me.

I was so excited to dive into this book and boy, I was not disappointed at all 🥰

Knox is Finn's stepdad, but they, well have a lot more going on if you know what I mean 😏

Actually, all is perfect for them but something is missing. And this something is Ryder 😍

This is a very spicy book with great plot and I devoured it. So excited for more of this series now ☺️

Knox, Finn & Ryder
This was superior mmm/poly erotica And yes there was plot.
Know and Finn are stepfather and stepson who work together. They are in a relationship that they don't really promote to the outside world.
Finn is looking to add a 3rd and Knox wants to please Finn.
Finn sets his target on Ryder, a new shy, innocent and timid bartender.
The story continues with the 3 having a s*xual encounter and very quickly knowing it won't be their last.
I loved the hurt comfort vibes. I also enjoyed seeing all 3 find their way to each other.
It's not always easy adding a 3rd to an established couple. CCW Dixon did a great job.
Super hot and steamy, sweet and swoony. Really enjoyed this

Milked is the first MMM book I’ve read that wasn’t in the Omegaverse. The title alone had my attention, and as a fan of Courtney’s other works, how could I resist? Knox and Finn have a very taboo relationship; they’re stepfather and stepson. Finn’s mother had died and when Finn came of age, he conveyed his feelings to Knox. It wasn’t an instant fit, as they both dealt with the guilt of it and the grief of the loss of Finn’s mother, but love is love. It’s kept tightly under wraps from the outside world. When we come into the story, Knox and Finn have been thinking of adding a third for sexual adventure; something they wanted to try out. And, Finn finds someone he’s interested in. A new bartender at his stepfather’s club Legends, Ryan. Ryan moved to Washington DC for reasons unknown. His past, a mystery. He accepts their offer. NDAs are signed and rules are made. Thing is, I was nervous for Knox and Finn as they already had this wonderful dynamic and were truly in love. I was afraid a third would break them apart. I wasn’t sure about Ryan at first because he was so easily willing. Sure, he’d blush, and get shy, but he was quite open to everything suggested. But he was also hiding something. In order for any relationship to work, communication is a must, and Finn and Knox were very patient with Ryan. But he was still closed off in that one way. How they handle it shows how truly caring these two men are. Meanwhile Knox has internal concerns about aging, and Finn has something unexpected happen that needs to be dealt with. When the three are a unified team, they are amazing. And if you’re looking for naughty, you’ll find it in Milked. The only thing I’d have to say as a “complaint” is a few situations seemed a little too easy to get out of. I think they’d have met with a bit more opposition. Overall however, an excellent read. I learned a few new kinks too 😏. 5⭐️

🍭 Review 🍭

First let me say I thought I posted about this book back in 2025 but somehow didn’t 🫣.

Now let’s dive into this beautiful trio. Knox and Finn are already in a relationship—and let me tell you, it’s a stunning one. They’ve been talking for a while about adding a third, and Finn, of course, already has his eye on our sweet summer child, Ryder.

When Ryder agrees to join Knox and Finn in the bedroom, sparks fly instantly. From the very first moment, things ignite—and let me tell you, it’s nothing but 🔥 on the page. The heat level is absolutely 👩🏻‍🍳💋, that’s for sure. Lots of Ryders first start to happen.

The way Ryder hurts in this book had me wanting to wrap him in the tightest hug and never let go. He deserves protection at all costs, and Finn and Knox are absolutely perfect for giving him exactly that. I absolutely loved the way Finn and Knox cared for Ryder, showing him just how deeply they love him and how perfectly they all belong together. The sweetness of those moments had me completely 🫠.

I went into this not knowing what to expect. I don't read straight up erotica, not often at all, and MMM tends to be hit or miss for me a lot of the time.

That being said, I enjoyed this one! Finn especially, whose personality I really liked from the beginning. Then there's Knox, who is more dominant and in control in general. Which is a dynamic I really do like, so I already knew I would enjoy him and Finn together. And then I liked Ryder's shyness as he started to figure things out with the both of them.

Knox and Finn, who are stepfather and stepson, are an established couple at the beginning of this story. But they have both talked about adding a third to their dynamic. A temporary thing. While somewhat reluctant to share Finn, Knox found himself into the idea of watching his boy with someone else.

From the moment Ryder started as a bartender at the club Knox owns, Finn knew he wanted him. And Knox, well, he doesn't often say no to Finn. That, and he started to take a liking to the bartender as well...

This is erotica, so there is bound to be plenty of spice. But there is also a story to go along with it. Finn's job as a model, for example. And it is not without it's sad moments as well, especially given Ryder's backstory.

arc review:

oh my, these three! i have thought of these men from the moment i finished this book and still now, they circle my brain nonstop.

knox and finn are in an established healthy relationship and wanting to explore in finding a third, the way these two communicate right from the start, hearing each other and sharing their wants and needs instantly made me wanna squeeze them both for their maturity, respect and love for each other.

within the club knox owns, a new bartender has been settling in, our beautiful ryder has been working there for three months, working his magic on the customers but keeping himself to himself around the boss and his step-son but boy have these men noticed him and well flirty bratty finn is very much sure that ryder is the guy for their third, this leads to finn making his move to get to know ryder and see what’s behind the wall ryder firmly has up..

i loved reading about their discovery of this new relationship, i loved ryder’s willingness to learn and understand these men and how they have a beautiful relationship and wanting to be apart of it. ryder was such a special character dealing with personal losses and inner turmoil, it was truly beautiful how they gently opened ryder up to a world of tender love and care and the importance of letting people in and be there for you, gahhhh it was just the sweetest.

i cannot stress enough that their relationship benefitted all involved and the importance of everyone’s feelings was so seen and so heard, it was just delivered perfectly, courtney did an incredible job here and i am obsessed with this as much as i am with the rest of her work.

i also think it’s important to mention that the s p i c e absolutely slaps within this, courtney did not hold back with these men and when they get to it, the kinks, the teaching, the exploring, the trust, urgh it was so good.

i am sooooo excited to continue this series and get to know our next boys, ryders previous roommate and his bosses.. i’m not ready i fear.

Honestly, I went into this book fairly blind and it was not what I expected!
Is this a spicy story? Hell yeah!
Is there plot? Hell yes- a heartbreaking plot!

This book following Knox and Finn, who are stepdad & stepson and in a relationship. They are looking my for a third to experiment with in the bedroom and they have their eye on Ryder- the country boy who tends bar in Knox’s club.
Ryder is running to escape his painful past and finds himself agreeing to this experiment with Knox and Finn as a way to explore his own desires.
What no one expected was the depth of feelings these three have for each other and how important they become to one another.
Ryder is a broken boy, looking for comfort and Knox and Finn put his pieces carefully back together and cherish him. They are perfect for each other and the story is steamy, heartwarming, fun and enjoyable!

This is the 1st book in the series and the next book follows Atlas, who we meet briefly in this book and I can’t wait to read his story!!!!!

Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. What have you done to me? You have altered my brain chemistry with this one 🤣

I love a good, steamy MMM book and MILKED, yall, has it all!!! Taboo step-father/step son dynamic. Age gap galore. SOOO many first times and watching times. A daddy k!nk (dead). And a happy helping of hurt/comfort. With the most precious of HEAs 😭🥹

I loved this trio so very much, but more importantly I loved that we got this type of story from Courtney. It felt so different but just as AMAZING! I mean read ANY of my reviews of hers and you’ll know that I love the writing style, the character development, the plot, the spice, literally all of it! MILKED flew by for me because all of these things were on point.

I wish I could read this one for the first time again!🖤 I could eat this throuple up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. and you will too!!! Love Courtney W. Dixon?? RUN, don’t walk, to read MILKED. It’s well worth the read!!! soooo good!

Erotica but with plot. Count me in!

Finn and Knox. Stepfather and stepson in public but so much more behind closed doors. They are both interested in adding a third to their relationship temporarily, and Finn has his sights set on the new bartender, Ryder. What started out as temporary quickly progressed as Ryder fit seamlessly into their lives. The love and affection that Knox and Finn show Ryder is adorable and so sweet. He had some things to heal from, and Knox and Finn were just the guys to help him.

I love the characters that Courtney writes. Such deep, emotional characters who come together to love and heal. Throw in the spice of this book, and it was just amazing!

This is my second book by Courtney W. Dixon (really loved All Roads Lead to You) and when I got this opportunity to read the arc of 'Milked' I applied so fast! And I'm so happy I was allowed to read this one because it was another great book by Courtney!
It is an erotica book with a story. And it was so hot! But you also get to know the three men. Knox, Finn and Ryder were so good for each other and I'm glad they recognized that without all too much drama! I loved how there are there for each other! And the sexy times.. Yes! Definitely give me more of this!

Wow, Courtney has outdone herself with this one.

Milked is a super-hot and heartwarming exploration of love, intimacy, and the complexities of relationships within the LGBTQ+ community. The novel centers around three men—Knox, Finn and Ryder—each of whom is grappling with their personal demons while trying to navigate their growing feelings for one another.

A steamy read that will appeal to fans of MMM erotic romance and polyamorous love stories.

This is my first time reading a book by Courtney W. Dixon and it did not disappoint. I was glued to this book the whole time. It’s my second time reading an MMM romance book and it surpassed other books in spice level.

I enjoyed all three characters and liked that each had their own storyline. However, the best parts were when they were together, which was majority of the book. The scenes were so descriptive and because nothing was held back, I was able to visualize it all. Courtney W. Dixon has a new fan! I can’t wait to read more books from this series.

DNF at 24%

I got bored after too many days postponed it, reading one more chapter and got sleepy.
Zero chemistry among the three of them .
I had to put it down, cause I knew I wouldn't care to know about their future relationship, if the 'contract' NDA can be called a relationship at all.

I love how Courtney twisted this erotica concept to fit her ways! This story was beautiful, not missing any detail and full of her signature spiciness and sweetness.

I’m a VERY huge fan of taboo, so seeing there would be a stepdad/stepson relationship in this trio made me rrrruuuunnnn to sign up… and the fact that there would also be an employer/employee relationship made me fly.

Finn and Knox already being in a relationship made this whole hurt/comfort thing with Ryder pop and the open communication rule between them was really the cherry on top. It was so sexy and so perfect, their dynamic and chemistry was so magnetic and the nicknames gave their intimacy a touch of preciousness that I really appreciated.

Sometimes I think it can be difficult to write outside of the standard couple, but Courtney made it stunningly well and gave all of them an equal platform to stand on without anyone shadowing the other. All of them coming from different worlds and having different stories made them interesting and pushed them close to my heart in a moment!

OH, MY GOD. OH, MY GOD. OH, MY LORD, I LOVE THIS BOOK.

I LOVE IT.

I ABSOLUTE LOVE IT.

I've been waiting for this book for so long I was scared to read it once I had it in my hands. I was afraid I hyped it up too much in my head, and what if it didn't live up to my expectations? Pft, jokes on me. I LOVED IT.

My God, there is nothing I would change about it. Absolutely NOTHING.

Ryder, Finn, and Knox... yeah, these three were specifically born to find each other. They were born to love each other. There's no other way... and the best part? They found each other at the right time. They found each other when they were ready.

Finn and Knox are an established couple. They were looking for a third, but not because they were not happy together or something was missing. They just want a partner to add to the mix so they can play. They are each other's top priority, and nothing will change that. As I was saying, they were looking, but not doing too much about it. When Ryder came along, well... Finn knew he was the one they've been looking for. Knox, of course, would've given Finn whatever his heart desires because his Precious is everything for him, and he just can't say no.

Ryder is running from something, and the proposition Finn and Knox have for him is the perfect excuse to just let go and enjoy.

What neither of them expected was to fall in love with each other, and ngl, it was beautiful to watch, but what was even more beautiful was to witness the communication between Knox and Finn. God, those parts were God tier.

I could talk all day about this book. It's been almost a week, and I still think about them every day. It's for sure one of those stories that will stay with me forever. I will come back and read it over, and over, and over again because their story is just so beautiful. Absolutely amazing.

Maybe after my re-read, I'll come back and leave a better review because right now, I feel like I'm just rambling 😂. Bottom line is that I adore this book, I adore the characters, the vibe, everything. I'm a fan, I'm a stan, I'm definitely gonna be an ambassador. I am absolutely obsessed with them.

yeah, the re-read was even better. I love them more now than I did when I first read the book. How is this even possible?

This is the 3rd time I read this book and not only does it get better, but somehow I still find new things to love about it. The feelings these 3 bring out in me are crazy. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THEM.

I wonder when will I feel like I've had enough and stop coming back for them? Cuz from where I stand it feels like NEVER. I just finished re-reading it and I wanna go back to page one and start all over again.
