Relatos cortos con un estilo de dibujo mezcla de Kazuo Umezz y la Ecc. Las tramas mezclan el humor con el terror truculento a traves de pequeñas piezas donde la fealdad física, las benganzas sobrenaturales y los desmembramientos están a la orden del día.

¡Mi primera novela gráfica!
¡Pues ya puedo decir que me he leído mi primer manga!

Sinceramente las ilustraciones son una pasada, y me encanta ese estilo de gore fusionado con terror y fantasía.

Dentro de las 10 historias creo que realmente merecen la pena como historia 4… tampoco es que tengan una narrativa increíble, pero tampoco creo que se busque eso, si no que visualmente generen un impacto, y eso lo consiguen!

Las primeras historias son mucho más potentes, literalmente las 3 últimas son un poco sin sentido, cortas y bastante poco interesantes. Parece que las han metido por cubrir un número de capítulos y no por interés real.

Me atrevería a decir que en alguna parte hasta te ríes, y mira que soy una persona que no termino de entender el humor asiático a pesar de respetarlo…

Soy totalmente un cateto de este mundillo, pero dicen que para poder hablar, criticar, amar, odiar o simplemente conocer algo es importante nutrirte sobre ello, para comentarlo desde la propiedad del conocimiento y no desde la suposición o el prejuicio.

The first story reminded me of thatTwilight Zone episode. The second was reminiscent of Tomie. The third was just ugly and mean. Fourth, heads up, is when things really get rolling. The fifth just made me smile reminding me something out of the Shivering Truth. I was definitely more bemused than startled though startling and grotesque imagery abounds. Always take advantage of that page turn, mangaka. Also there’s always just this random girl with an eyepatch in the background so that’s a plus. Overall a nice little bag of sweet and grotesque treats with minimal loser candy.

This is a fun time! Nothing amazing, but solid and oftentimes funnny gross out horror for spooky season.

The first 3 stories are the worst of the bunch for sure I found them to be pretty lame stories about just "ugliness"

Severance and Speed Girl, though, are SO much better. Genuinely excellent stories these 2. The ones that follow after those two are good to really good. Overall the stories are a mixed bag but enjoyable to read at least once

I'm really glad I bought this one.

Really fun reading. It's not Junji Ito's level but I think all his fans will enjoy this.

Ito is usually more gruesome and scary, while here the horror is more humorous, but still lots of fun.

I really recommend this one if you can get it.

Absolutely loved this manga collection! I needed some more horror manga in my life, and this came into clutch! This manga collection is filled with 10 thrilling, gory, and kooky short stories that will have you wanting more! I loved the panel layout and the art within the book. It was easy to follow the text bubbles as well. Highly recommend this manga collection if you’re a horror manga junkie like me!
