Sick and tired of the ill-treatment and humiliation she as well as her mom received from her so called step-dad and step-brother, Jade comes to the point where she tells herself that she deserves much better and ought to be treated as a human being. She runs away from the ill-treatment at home but finds herself in situations of cruelty, inhumane treatment and belittlement which started immediately after saying goodbye to her carrot-selling market colleague -Haim(the only person who ever listened to her, believed in her and tried to show genuine affection to her).
