Rate this book
Cordass Pell has a problem. When the 21 year old regains consciousness on a strange ship, he finds that he is on his way to serve a life sentence on the frozen penal planet of Demerl. But before the transport arrives, the ship is hijacked by pirates and Pell and the other prisoners are sold as slaves to a sadistic owner in a distant star system. The trouble is that he can't remember anything about his life before waking up on that prison transport. And someone keeps trying to kill him.

As the author of the book, I am of course very happy with it. I cannot in good conscience give it a rating because I am looking for honest feedback from others. It is a science-fiction/adventure story and as of this date the book is ranked as the 23 highest rated book on Smashwords Sci-fi/adventure list. It is also ranked as the 57th most downloaded full length sci-fi/adventure book on Smashwords. It is the first of a projected trilogy and is currently a free e-book. So far I have gotten only 5 star reviews and am looking for others who enjoyed the book to write reviews as well. If you enjoy sci-fi adventure check it out! https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Would give 3.5 stars if possible! Good rip roaring read, of a starship crew thrown together by fate. Sustained sufficient interest to be open to read the next in the series. Well written and quite light Sci-Fi.
