This is the book I was looking for and it has served my purpose. It has all relevant info for a beginner
As a new investor I was interested in reading an introductory book on indian markets and the financial terms involved. This book proved to be the perfect balance of defining the terms, as well as being a good mentor on how to start thinking about investing in the Indian markets. Would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn a few things about finance and markets.
This was my first book on the stock market and this book contains so many basic terms which we should need to know before entering the stock market and Vipin Kats define these terms in a very simple way. Surely, this book can not give you all knowledge of the stock market but this book will help you to start and motivate you to find more information and knowledge about investing if you are a beginner in investing.
A good book for beginners in investments and stock markets. However, the proof reading is terrible in this book and it contains loads of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. I hope later issues fix that. Overall, I'd recommend this book.
Iam new to the stock market. Hence the basic info in this book really helped me understand the fundamentals of the game. However this is basic stuff, as mentioned in the title, so keep your expectations to that. Bottomline, it's an enjoyable, light, interesting and worthy read for the beginners.
Amazing book to get to know the basics of stock investing
This book describes the stock market for a beginner in such easy to understand way. Very simple examples and calculations to get an understanding of concepts are presented. Simple language, limited financial jargon.
It's an average read for me as I did not find any extra important information which I could not have found on internet. Although I would like to appreciate the writer for his simple language and some of the good examples.
5-star for making the book interesting and lovable. For someone who is a beginner or an experienced investor, this book really gives you the insight and the proper information as to how to approach the stock market. Loved it. Thanks
It's a good read for people who are first time investors but I expected more real life examples and the struggle behind selecting a stock. It was more theoretical.
A simple book on Stock market in India which explains the very basics of stock market the growth investing and dividend investing and all. As a beginner, I would say one could read this as it has everything needed in a concise form rather than haphazardly looking on internet.
