There were parts of this that I really liked and parts I didn't. What I like is the idea of a large collection of sonic comics in digest format, I love the artwork and the art style of the archie sonic comics. Some of the stories were terrific but some sonic stories get very weird, sonic is at its best when it's about a group of freedom fighters fighting a mad scientist and his robotic creations. When it starts dealing with alien invasions, multiverses, time travel and giant pseudo spiritual interdimensional monsters is where it loses me.

Showing the best of Sonic the Hedgehog, (in theory) this book collects the classic adventure "Mecha Madness" as well as other, more recent, stories, ranging from the "New Sonic Universe", to slightly older stories.

Review
Sadly, for a book named The Best of Sonic the Hedgehog Comics: Ultimate Edition, it fails to have stories that truly are the best of sonic, hence the reason for my 3-star rating.
While the stories are good, they are not great. The texture of the paper is nice, through (does it make me weird if I like the paper used for the book?)
