She's his kind of dangerous: They call her Snow, because she’s locked up her heart and thrown away the key. Former US Marine Corps Scout Sniper Aria Keane lost the love of her life on a rooftop in Afghanistan. She’s built a new version of herself deep in the shadow world of Nemesis Inc., taking out the scum of the earth one bullet at a time. There’s no room in her world for love, softness, or happily ever afters.
He's her last shot at love: They call him Inferno because he’ll strike a match and fan the flames to protect the ones he loves. Former Black Squadron contractor, Jasper Burnley, burned out of the special operations world and buried himself behind a sheriff’s badge, in the quietest county he could find in Montana. He’s done with wars that don’t end and scars that won’t heal. But when a sniper with ice in her veins and fire in her eyes walks into his local bar, Jasper knows two things: she’s trouble, and she’s his kind of dangerous.
One night of explosive chemistry: What starts as a one-night collision of need turns into something far more explosive. But Aria doesn’t do attachments, and Jasper’s not the kind of man who believes in hopes and dreams. When the final pieces of the Organization surface and King makes his last move, all bets are off—because Aria survived hell once, and she refuses to lose the man who snuck in under her defenses, got on her last nerve, and claimed her heart... Jasper.
Please note: Aria's release date will move forward from October to August
I'm always sad when a series I love ends. And "Aria" is the series finale. Snow's story was one I was waiting for. She intrigues me. A female Operator, one of the guys, integral part of the found family Nemesis has created. Seven years ago she loses Lucas, her everything, on a mission. Still, seven years later, Lucas' friend Jasper "Inferno" is a vivid reminder... “I'm not Lucas... I know I look like him. I know every time you look at me, part of you probably remembers him first. I’m not here to take his place. I couldn’t, even if I wanted to. He’ll always be here.” He pressed his hand harder over her heart, feeling the rush of her breath under his palm. “Always. I don’t want to change it, take away from what you and Lucas had.”
A night full of chemistry between them starts to change things though. But walls built high around your heart and soul are not easy to put down... “Lucas was… everything,” ... “He died because of me, because he chose to protect me. And I— I don’t know how to let anyone else in without feeling like I’m betraying him.”
An enemy of Nemesis resurfuses, creating chaos once again, jeopardising amongst other things the fragile balance building between Jasper and Aria. I love how other characters from Bella's Operators World mingle with Nemesis, ready to get involved and help. “Next time Zenko is bored, I’ll send him your way.” “Hell no,” Dalton growled. “You keep that menace on your side of the pond. I’m still finding glitter in my shorts after Grizzly’s wedding two years ago.”
If you are looking for action packed moments, an emotional rollercoaster to ride on, found family, the well known banter between the guys, a bit of glitter and redemption, this is for you. Oh, and a long time coming HEA for Aria and Jasper. Like I said, this is a series finale but I'm staying frosty... I know I'll get to see these guys again in future books. Thank you Bella for another amazing story!
Bella Stone did it again, she finished a series with a huge bang.
Aria was always a mystery in the previous books, I couldn't find a reason for her very abrupt behaviour. Here you will find the full story and how she learns to love herself and someone else again.
As usual with Bella Stone's book, the story starts by putting you right in the middle of action, the only issue here is how heartbreaking it is for Aria when her lover is killed in front of her. 7 years later, she still can't let go, worse when the sheriff of Nemesis' small town and an ex-Operator is a carbon copy.
I love how Jasper is slowly taking her walls down, not demanding, not pushing, just waiting and accepting, helping her to see it for herself.
The book is mainly a slow burn love story, the action only re-starts around 70% of the book when a previous known villian decides to finally battle Nemesis Inc. Suddenly you are back in the well known way the author writes her battle scenes, it's messy, it's chaotic and you really have to keep track on what's going on. But it shows her knowledge of the war theatre and how bonds and families are forged by war.
I would have loved to know more about Aria's background/family. I am glad she finally forgave Rexar. And there are some cameos from other series.
It's a satisfying ending to the small arc which began in Dalton's book.
Aria is a befitting finale to the Nemesis Inc. Alpha team series. Aria "Snow" Keane has had a presence in the series but sh's mostly a mystery. As the lone woman and sniper "extraordinaire " of Alpha team, she holds her own easily with her battle hardened teammates. Bella Stone wastes no time and dumps you right in the middle of danger on page one. It's edge of your seat one moment and heartbreaking in the next. Jasper "Inferno" Burnley followed family tradition by leaving the military and becoming a small town sheriff. He and Snow have a history but that's not to say his feelings for her are still real even if she does avoid him like the plague. A long time Nemesis enemy appears to have resurfaced in Jasper's town and that spells nohing but trouble. He and Snow are thrown together and the inevitable sparks fly. She tries to convince them both that it's a one-time deal and yet it keeps happening. The final chapters are danger and tension filled with the kind of fast paced, brutal and hard hitting action you've come to expect in Ms. Stone's work. Let's just say that the battle's outcome is the perfect example of "the punishment fitting the crime!"
I both love and hate end of series, because its usually a character we've come to know well and the underlying pain or loss they are living with and then it's the last one and normally that means goodbye to those characters. Aria suffered a loss, it was devastating and had an impact that locked her down emotionally, only her friends got to see little snippets of who she used to be. Jasper has watched and suffered not only the loss of his best friend but how Aria shut him out. Information comes to him meaning contact with Dalton and with that Aria. Heartbreaking, uplifting, inspiring and so much more. Seeing her slowly emerge and open up, finding someone who doesn't pressure and accepts what she is willing to give, no matter how small had me smiling. Obviously I knew there would be action and suspense, some battles to fight and hurdles to overcome and that just added dimensions and levels of excitement. Aria got her happy ending and I'm so happy she did, I do hope the characters pop up periodically in future series or crossovers. I love this author her way of writing draws me in and keeps me on the edge of my seat through every book she writes. Excellent read.
Bella gives another beautiful story of found family and love. Aria (Snow) buried her heart and built her walls long ago in a far away desert land. Now she protects her team as overwatch and has put life on hold. Jasper protects his county like his ancestors before him. He has loved Aria from afar. Will one night where Aria let's her walls go make her live again. However, before she founds that out a non enemy comes after Nemsis again. Will this be the time that King is dethroned when he goes after the man who made Aria feel again. Get ready cause this ride is full of glitter , surprise, and familiar faces.
From the opening pages Bella Stone once again holds your heart in her hands and you will find yourself not being able to breathe until you know what is going to happen next. Aria has baggage from her past that keeps her walls up and her heart secure, but is she really living? Jasper Burnley has always had a soft spot for Aria, but they were torn apart with one bomb explosion. This book has it all: beautifully written characters, a storyline that has you hooked from the beginning and just the right amount of danger and mayhem to keep the pages turning. Loved it!!
I love a good story and when it's fleshed out into a Series, even better! I loved this whole series from beginning to end. If you haven't read them all, I urge you to do so. They are filled with great men doing a hard job and finding their happy along the way. A few bumps along the road to have you on the edge of your seat and heart racing! The Heroes and Heroines, ( I think that's how you spell it) are all stand up people taking a stand for everything they believe in. Fantastic read!
I enjoyed this book and I was pretty excited to read Aria’s story. Then I read that Jasper looked just like her dead lover Lucas. It was a little weird for me. It seemed liked most of the book was Aria fighting to move on from Lucas and punishing herself for doing so. Jasper seemed to have no problem showing his feelings toward Aria, but she was not overly receptive for months. Then they are ambushed and all of a sudden she realizes her feelings for Jasper are there. I didn’t feel like the relationship flowed - it happened in fits and starts and I felt it chopped up the book. I still liked the book and am looking forward to what comes next.

Aria: Series finale (Nemesis Inc. Alpha Team Book 5)
Wow! Hated to see this series end. But.....a great series finale. Ahhh....and King, well you'll have to read this for to close this chapter down for good. Wonderful series from start to finish.
This was the best ending to Bella’s Alpha Team. Aria and Jasper’s had a bumper road to find happiness like all the rest of Alpha Team Nemesis. This series worth reading find if King is finally defeated by Dalton(the Alpha of Nemesis).
