About the author

Imam Omar Suleiman is the Founder and President of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, and an Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies in the Graduate Liberal Studies Program at SMU (Southern Methodist University). He is also the Resident Scholar at Valley Ranch Islamic Center and Co-Chair Emeritus of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square.

An excellent book. The book is full of knowledge, however, it shows what a good and engaging a teacher Omar Suleiman is. I was not expecting how much of this book really hit home for me. In every chapter I found something that was a ah ha lesson. The book goes through all the traits, and temperament someone needs to be Ibäd al-Rahmän (the favourite servant of the most merciful). Everything is backed up with either verses from the Quran or Hadid from the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
