“Life is full of mysteries"
Four juniors in High School are about to manifest more change than anything they could imagine. Andrea, Blanca, Laurel and Susie have come together around an old Grimiore in the basement of the local library as they try to imagine how their perceptions of themselves are changing the way they are maturing.
Each girl brings with her an elemental discovery and throughout this foundational story learn what that might mean and how emotions can enhance- and detract - the power.
This is a great story, not only introducing changes that can happen as we begin adulthood but how we understand where we are in the world. The first of three linked stories in this new series by Samuel denHartog ,I am looking forward to the others as we watch the growth of these four girls. Highly Recommended 5/5

Pretty good
I like it. The only thing that bothers me is that towards the end of the book Ethan is talking to the wrong fmc in the wrong school
