Sundays at Sea

Rate this book
Tessa Miller is new to Tuesday Harbor.
Fresh from small town Arizona, she's moved to the quaint multi-species PNW town to pursue her dream career in marine biology. Which seems to be going swimmingly, until poachers begin preying on the local crab population.
Tasked by her department with investigating the poaching, Tessa forms a reluctant bond with the local crab fishermen, and must collaborate with them in they want to take down the poaching ring. But not all crew members aboard the Salty Siran are friendly, especially not the moody merman Myrrdin.
Will the entire boat sink between Tessa and Myrrdin, or is love about to set sail?

Sundays at Sea is a cozy, sometimes angsty workplace rivals-to-lovers, humanXmonster romance.

This is an enemies to lovers, which I don’t normally like at all. But I loved this book.

I like that Tessa has anxiety issues and it isn’t brushed aside or magically fixed. That a seemingly perfect being like Pia had anxiety issues too.

There were tons of different creatures in this book. I can only recall two human characters in the story.

ok.

That was an interesting read. Wanted to throw my phone plenty of times and I definitely was talking out loud to Tessa. She's so lucky for Myrrdin and his patience with her.. cause BayBe... the way I was mad at her. But it all worked out in the end and HEA was achieved. So I guess I'll take it.

I’m so mad. I enjoyed the book until around 80% when Tessa, the FMC, makes the most stupid and infuriating decision she could possibly make. I had issues with her before that but after that I pretty much hated her. It’s unfortunate because the book was enjoyable up until that point.
