So good omg!
It got heated FAST and I was sat. I was expecting OTT, but my man Maxim said 'Hold my beer'. I absolutely adored how down bad he was for her. Since he saw her, he did everything in his power to help, care for, and love her. And that shower...yes lord. AND the man is pierced, and he tells her to count them going in while it's their first time?? DOWN BAD (me, I'm the down bad one here)
And poor Hayley didn't know what was coming, but she knew she wanted her boss, even if that man was unattainable, she'd crush on him forever until the crush turned very real. I loved that she didn't shy away, that she accepted and matched his unhingedness, and her jealousy was perfect.
And that epilogue? Can we all give a collective 'THANK YOU' to Evie for giving us those epilogue+bonus scenes she does? It gives me life, and I love her for it.

Bratva’s Secret Girl is part of the Morally Gray Kingpins series. It is another hot and smutty read from Evie. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, girl gets her possessive mafia man romance. Maxim is a hunky, possessive, Bratva kingpin. Hayley gets a job as a waitress at his coffee shop because he needs her like he needs air. He is obsessed with her and she might be just as obsessed as he is. The chemistry was pure fire and we got a great HEA, but these two are hot and unhinged lol. That shower scene and the piercings...yes, please!.

I needed something to easily slide into the maffia world and this did not disappoint at all! I loved the writing and I finished it so quick too.

Sweet Hayley thought she was moving up in the world for herself and sister with the job she just applied for. Even though the commute was long, Hayley didn’t see the problem, she sister Peyton was hesitant of her taking this job and asked her to look further before having this commute. Peyton even offered to pawn her necklace she received as a gift from a boyfriend the Hayley knew nothing of as they met at university. Hayley is doing well at her job as a manager of this cafe until she isn’t and she is bombarded by men in black…. They are looking for Peyton as she has taken things from Ivan and he is looking for them back or payment, Hayley has no where abouts of where her sister is other than being at school. She is then met with a cold coked gun to her head and then the world goes black, Maxim arrives just in time to save Hayley owner of said cafe and she still has no idea what is happening except hearing gun shots and then being drenched in blood. He saves her from being kidnapped or killed, taken to his home and he dotes on her. Now they must find Peyton who is MIA but not before Hayley experiences being intimate with a man and he claims her and profess his love to her and asks her to be his, she gladly excepts. Now Peyton they find her and she is kidnapped by the boyfriends father of whom just tried to shake down Hayley! Now maxim is given the task to bring back Peyton and Taylor so the Love sisters can be reunited finally.

This book was a typical Evie Rose book. We met up with the London Maths (ahem Mafia) guys pretty quick in the story.
Highlights of the story for me was the funny incidents such as the AI problem.
And that shower scene was 🥰. His reasons for piercings was so 👌 🔥.
Love the epilogue and hearing the sisters do get together again but now I'm waiting impatiently for those books to be ready!
This can be read as a standalone but it's set in the London mafia territory so it's loosely connected to the rest of the books.
I did love seeing the love story start and even tho it's insta love it took him a little bit to try and woo his lady... in a little red riding hood wolf way *snicker.
I did receive this book as an ARC for my true and honest opinion.

Maxim Zaitsev is the pakhan of the Zaitsev Russian Bratva and part of London Mafia Syndicate. Maxim hires Hayley to work at the Lazy Bean cafe because he was very attracted to her and wants to see her. He know immediately that she was his, his baby girl. He wanted to take care of her, claim her, marry her, breed her. Although he wanted her denied himself and sometimes stay away from her because he didn't want to come on too strong. He wanted to give her time to fall in love with him. Maxim would pay people to come in and buy very expensive coffee. The Lazy Bean cafes are designed as a money laundering and illegal product distribution system rather than a real business which unbeknowing to Hayley. The two would talk daily close to closing time getting to know each other. Five weeks later after being on her new job some five scary looking young came into cafe one said he was looking for her thieving sister. They lock the door and close the blinds. Her sister's boyfriend Ivan said that she owed him a lot of money and he wants it back.
He wanted it back because she didn't act like a girlfriend and give up the goodies. Ivan was going to rape her then kill her but Maxim came just in time and kill all of them. He confessed to her that he was a mob boss of Greenwich.
He took her back to his penthouse after going to her house to look for her missing sister Payton. They had a spicy scene in the shower giving Hayley her first sexual experience. Then have dinner but it got too much for him so he took her on the dinner table. He promised to take on her burden from there on out and find both of her sisters. And later confess to her his feelings and that he was in love with her from the day he met her. She told him that it was the same for her too and told him that she would be his wife and to breed her like he wanted to. Maxim put his guys on the search for Payne along with the London Mafia Syndicate. They scour the city all night and the next day one of the guys found where Payne was but tells Maxim that he wasn't going to like it. As it turns out Payne had run off to an island with her boyfriend's Ivan dad Feliks Rykov and the two had gotten married. Feliks was twenty years older than Payton. Maxim was pissed and told him to bring her back but Rykov told him that he wouldn't and Payton told her sister that she was okay. Hayley was tired and wanted someone to take take of her and when Maxim offered to take care of her relinquish the burden and let him. Fast forward, ten years later they were happy with six children and Maxim kept his promise about finding her sister's. The sister's gets their books next year.

I will admit, when I started reading this story it was a little confusing. It seemed the dialogue and or situations were not running smoothly. I didn't know what was quite happening after Hayley got hired. But I stuck with it and once the dust settled, it was shazam💥🚀, here we goo, we're off and running!!!😂😂 And let me tell ya, Maxim and Hayley were meant for each other. He was older she's younger. And the whole secret London Math Club aka mob syndicate, money laundering, and murd3r that suddenly showed up in the café late one night has removed the blindfold from Hayley's eyes forever.😳 But she's not mad about it.lol Maxim protected her. She's a little frightened. Especially since her sister has now gone missing. But Maxim has this. He wants to care for Hayley, love her, and have her as his woman. His wife. And knowing this, how open he was with his feelings and intentions, Hayley melted like butta.🫠🧈 All gooey for her man.🤣🤣

This was a short book but I couldn't stop reading it till I finished it. It's OTT, insta everything, action, some twists, and two people who wanted each other among the chaos. It's a fun read. Romantic how much Maxim adored his Malishka. This man. Putting his heart out there. Hayley did too. No pretending with these two. They went for it!! I loved Maxim and Hayley. The epilogue. That was icing on the love cake.🎂👫🏻 Sister Payton has her own book and as will sister Taylor, coming soon. Keep an eye out. I was a bit bummed that we didn’t get to see the spark-filled “meet cute” between Maxim and Hayley when she first interviewed for her job. There’s just something so delicious about those jaw-dropping moments when the MMC is thunderstruck by the heroine, that instant chemistry crackling in the air. Instead, we dive right in with Maxim already head over heels for Hayley, visiting her almost daily in her new role as manager of one of his cafés. Even with a significant age gap, the attraction between them is palpable, though Maxim is determined to shield Hayley from the darker side of his life in the Bratva. But fate has other plans, and when a group of rival thugs show up at the café, Hayley gets to see Maxim in a whole new, dangerous light. What I adored was that his dark side didn’t send her running for the hills—instead, it secretly made her feel safer, like she had a protector in her corner. Despite the ruthless way Maxim handled the problem at the café, he’s nothing but a big, protective teddy bear when it comes to Hayley. All he wants is to take care of her and love her. When Hayley’s sister disappears, Maxim doesn’t hesitate to mobilize the entire London Maths Club (aka London Mafia Syndicate) to find her—bonus points for those fun cameos from a few familiar faces! And let’s just say that when things heat up between Maxim and Hayley, she’s in for quite the surprise—one that’s sure to put a very big smile on her face! If I had one tiny complaint, it would be about Hayley’s sister, Payton. Seriously, she couldn’t even text Hayley to let her know what was going on? Then again, I suppose we’d all lose a bit of common sense if there was a smoking hot mafia man waiting for us in the bedroom!

Oh, Ms. Rose, you have written another excellent mafia romance! You always come up with another unique take of the London Mafia Syndicate gang and manage to make me laugh, swoon, and gasp with each fresh new version. It is amazing how you can write the Kingpins to be a combination of sweet and brutal and make it believable. In this book, the sweet and naïve virgin is Hayley Love, who works hard to care for her younger sister Payton. They have a sister who has been missing for a while named Taylor. All three girls were in the foster care system growing up. Hayley has worked hard to keep them together. Hayley has just been hired as the manager of one of London’s Lazy Bean coffee shops. Russian Paktan Maxim Zaitsev is the Kingpin of Greenwich, and Hayley’s new employer. Maxim is tall, dark, tattooed, and pierced. Yummy! Hayley thinks he is a big teddy bear until she is attacked, and then she finds out what Maxim is really capable of.
The book is a steamy, dark, mafia, age-gap, boss/employee romance that features a well-crafted storyline. Rose excels with character development and world building. Bratva’s Secret Girl is another of the author’s steamy older man younger woman Bratva romances which I gobble up the minute they are available.
This one finds MFC Hayley getting hired as manager of Lazy Bean Café which unbeknownst to her is a money laundering front for MMC Maxim Zaitsev, Kingpin of Greenwich and her new boss.
Maxim has fallen hard for his Malishka/baby girl and tries to tone down his natural proclivities for violence in her presence.
That ends the night she is accosted in the shop and he violently takes out the offenders…no one touches what belongs to him!
Hayley’s younger sister Payton has gone missing the same night as her attack and both issues are tied in together with Maxim promising her he’ll find out where she is.
Sweet innocent Hayley has also been feeling the chemistry between them and after he brings her home to his penthouse for safety things turn very steamy when she walks in on Maxim in the shower. Yeah, that shower scene was HAWT!
Loved the story which was nicely written, and though short, flowed pretty well until the end which I felt was rather rushed.
There was some resolution to Payton’s disappearance but there was a middle sister, Taylor who had also gone missing prior to Hayley’s events and just appeared in the epilogue? Unanswered questions there.
Still enjoyed the read and look forward to many more! HEA.

I am all up in my feels here. Haley is so precious. Maxim is so *chef’s kiss*. And this one was so great.
I always rush to read these books bc I’m am so invested in this world, and this one didn’t disappoint.
Haley takes care of everyone but herself, so having Maxim come in with his take charge attitude… even though he hides it in the beginning as just her boss and wanting to be a big, soft, cuddly bear for her. There interactions before for everything are just too sweet. And the. Everything changes…
As always, love the “he falls first” though it’s debatable here, she falls pretty quick herself. And how can she not? He sounds so yum. The touch her and die gets me every time.
Absolutely adored our time with London Maths Club! Every interaction is such a treat. Love seeing our past leads show up. Makes my heart swell.
So excited to see the rest of this series (trying not to do spoilers here lol) but any book involving this world always gets my total attention.

Anya and Nikita are the kind of couple you should probably run from, but you can’t stop watching. This story is intense from the jump, diving straight into obsession, trauma, and that twisted kind of chemistry that should be a red flag but somehow just works. Just so, so good!
Anya is prickly and hurting, worn down by her past but still holding on to her fire. Nikita is pure chaos in a tailored suit. He's possessive, unrelenting, and terrifyingly focused on her. The way he looks at her, speaks to her, claims her, is equal parts disturbing and addictive. Their connection isn’t sweet. It’s feral. But the emotional pull beneath all that fire is real.
The sex is rough, explicit, and very much part of the power dynamic between them. Nothing about their relationship is subtle. If you’re not into possessive heroes who take control without asking, this won’t be for you. But if you like your dark romance with teeth and tension, it hits hard. There are moments of vulnerability tucked between the violence and lust.

I love this series for how incredibly possessive these alpha males are but also for how sweet their love is. Maxim softened his OTT edges for Hayley (though he didn’t need to because she loved him regardless), and would happily fight anyone or anything that upset his malishka. He even marshaled the forces from the “Maths Club” to help search for Hayley’s sister. I loved this book’s humor, such as when everyone freaked out thinking her sister was a baby. And of course I loved the too-hot-for-my-kindle steam! (Cold showers always trend up when Evie releases a new scorching book.) 😉.

The ending was the roughest part for me, with most of it magically resolved. I’m sure it’s explained in another book in the series, but nonetheless the quick jump in plot-point was… rough. The rest of the book was really sweet. I love everything about Maxim, from his personality all the way down to his… Jacob’s ladder!! Wish it was longer 😔 Definitely a shorter cute read!

This is part of a multi author series called Morally Gray Kingpins, and this particular book is connected with the London Mafia Bosses (aka London Maths Club 🤣). This one features the (not quite so) grumpy Russian, Maxim and his malishka, Hayley, the naive manager of his money laundering coffee shop.
I LOVED this book! In fact it may be my new favorite simply because of Maxim. As one of the deadliest London mafia bosses he tried his doggone HARDEST to act as cuddly and non-threatening as a big ol’ teddy bear when he was around Hayley even though it was dang near impossible…and he was pretty much successful (remember…naive store manager) until a group of young thugs just HAD to go and mess with her. Big mistake on their part ‘cause Maxim was MORE than willing to take care of bi’ness when it came to his Baby Girl!

This was a quick steamy read for me. We meet Hayley first, nice, young and in need of a better paying job. Enter Maxim, the Bratva Kingpin of Greenwich, offering Hayley a manager’s job at the Lazy Bean Cafe. A better paying job and a very handsome older boss with a Russian accent. What more could Hayley ask for….little did she know. This was going to let her watch out for her little sister, Payton; however, Hayley got so much more- a man she found that ultimately adored her.
Hayley has no idea who Maxim is but isn’t going to let him go. And after one late night where Haley’s life is endangered, her eyes are no longer blinded to who Maxim is or the London Math Club. Maxim protected her and did so much more for her- made her his wife and found her sisters!

Nine years later the two are married with a big family. They are to meet up with both of her sister’s family soon. He found both of them being protected by their men and both sisters having their own families. The couple is happy with their family as well as with one another, they are happy and in love.

Hot Bratva Boss craves his new employee. Working as a manager at a small cafe owned by the Bratva Kingpin, Hayley is thrust into Bratva life way too soon. However she is definitely smitten by his tattoos and brooding good looks and she's even more smitten when she catches a glimpse of him in the shower with all his piercings in place! A quick novella full of Bratva gore and love. These Bratva men adore their women!
I especially like catching up with the other Kingpins of the London Mafia Syndicate adding their two bob's worth of advice too.
Quick read, punchy, full of steam and now I'm googling more than ever about Russian Bratva - oops I mean Russian Foods (Piroshki ......).

Hayley has been carrying the burden of carrying for her sisters since she was young. She has already lost one of her sisters into the system and is looking for her but finding it very hard. As she struggles to get a better job to try and not be so behind in her bills and better support her sister that is in college. In the interview she found she was instantly attracted to her new boss. There was something about him that just drew her to him.
Maxim found his new hire captured his attention instantly, and he found himself constantly checking in with her to make sure she was ok and she wanted her to get used to him and feel safe with him before he lets her know he's Bratva. I loved every moment of this story and so cannot wait to read the following stories of her sisters. This is a must read.!!

Another mafia insta-love from Evie Rose. This time it’s kingpin Maxim who’s fallen for young, innocent Hayley. For me these books are getting a bit stale. There isn’t anything wrong with them, I just would like a bit of variety. But for those who love their men alpha, violent and totally gone for their girl then this is the book for you. I thought this book was particularly violent and Hayley’s acceptance was a bit too quick. She actually thought it was an attractive quality. Ooookay? I also wouldn’t mind a bit more of the sexy times. Ah well. Like I said, you pretty much know what you’re getting if you pick up an Evie Rose novella. And for some that’s just fine. But I wish the author would try to switch things up just a bit.

This was another sweet read by Evie! The writing is easy to read and this is a full book with great characters and some fantastic chemistry between our leads. The two are likable, and yes his job isn't what she thinks! He's a mafia boss and he sees her and wants her.
She is very attracted to her boss and she has no idea the feeling was mutual.
Her sister certainly put her in hot water, though unknowingly. Never believe things are free...there is always a price and sometimes it's a cost you cannot take care of. How lucky she had this man in her corner! He was great for her and vice versa, the two when great chemistry. I love their conversation about what she really wants! So sweet and sexy, another great read!
