Although it stops at 1964 with All These Women, this is an excellent account of Bergman's early work (and I prefer his films of the 50's). Superb photographs printed on quality paper--thank you, Dover.

Not great, but the author says some interesting things about the trilogy Through a Glass Darkly, Winter Light and The Silence.
