Pucked Up Omegaverse #3

Puck Around & Find Out

Rate this book
It’s not easy building a pack when your father forbids you from dating any of his New Haven Foxes hockey players. But Sloane Applegate is an Omega on a mission and her current target is none other than a surly Alpha defenseman who is supposed to be off-limits.

It starts off simple, dating in secret, and making sure that her father doesn’t find out she’s being courted by one of his players. But things get a little more complicated when the team’s mascot and new goalie also catch the Omega's eye, on and off the ice.

No matter how intensely feelings and pheromones are pushing them together, secrets threaten to destroy this pack before they’re even bonded. Hopefully, by some small miracle, they can come together and be the pack Sloane has always dreamed of.

This is book three in the interconnected Pucked Up Omegaverse series. It can be read as a standalone.

4 Hooked For Life Stars ⭐

It’s all a little complicated to explain so I’ll break it down:

👑 Sloane – Omega and full time PR manager for the New Haven Foxes. Oh, and daughter of the coach who’s threatened to castrate any player who touches her.

🏒 Bram – Alpha defenseman. Protective, holds a grudge like no other and is completely smitten with Sloane. Not great at sharing!

🏒 Max – Alpha goalie, who’s a wildcard. Reputed to be a manwhore but pretty much hearsay. I must mention that Bram hates his guts…

🦊 Ethan – Go Foxie!! A Beta and the teams mascot. If he wasn’t such a catch. I’d probably be embarrassed for him. He’s the glue to this pack.

This is what I had always hoped for. Having a pack who are best friends is amazing. But a pack where everyone is lovers? That’s the fucking ultimate dream.

I guess the setting of this romance was unique because of the unusual dynamics. This is a about a very capable Omega building her own pack instead of waiting to be chosen. So as Sloane is making her selection, 3 very different men who are not necessarily on the same page, are attempting to make this work.

There is no denying the connection and the chemistry (cos its fire), but the struggle to coexist is real. There are insecurities, old grudges and personality traits to contend with. The common denominator is Sloane. Yet is it enough?

I really enjoyed how the story evolved and how each man stepped up in their own way. And bit by bit everything holding them back gets stripped away until Bram and Max man up to secure the longevity of this pack.

I may avoid sport romances like the plague yet I was begging for an ARC like a little bitch. It’s the depth of characters, the decadent world of Omegaverse and the level of filth this author can provide with each book that thrills me every time. Nothing says commitment like a Beta researching fisting to satisfy his Omega!! It's out there now...

Sarah crushed it with this one! Sloane was my absolute favorite Omega of the series. I love how she totally owned her Omega designation and wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted. I feel like most Omegas join an established pack when it comes to Omegaverse, but not Sloane. She wanted to build her perfect pack, and she did just that! I also loved that her pack included a Beta. Ethan was my favorite of the pack mates. He was always so supportive and exactly what Sloane needed, especially when the others were on their Alpha bullshit. The two Alphas were such great characters and each were perfect for Sloane in different ways. Once they worked out their issues from the past, this pack really came together. I also loved how everyone was romantically involved with everyone. I feel like we don't see that very often so it was a great change in pack dynamic. This was my favorite of the series and I'm wishing I had more of Sloane and her pack. Highly recommend for any Omegaverse reader!

So good! I was hooked right from the beginning. This one had it all, coach’s daughter, rival alpha teammates, secret relationships, scent match, the sweetest beta and one of the hottest heat scenes I’ve ever read 🙏 I love that the pack wasn’t already established and they slowly found their way to become a family together.

DNF at 32%. Sloane isn't working for me. She seems a bit cold-blooded, self-centered, and manipulative. It's hard to describe but thankfully another reviewer finished the book and did a great job breaking it down.

Thanks, Meagan!

Plus, I was listening to the audiobook and Brams accent is like nothing I have ever heard. And done SO inconsistently. "S" turns into "SH" and so it was irritating to listen to Shloane this and shloane that. Ugh. But the fact that the narrators would sometimes let s sound like s!? Drove me nuts.

Normally, I am a huge fan of Omegaverse books, but the FMC in this one really put me off and I ended up not liking it overall as a result. I liked all the guys that are in this book and thought they were all reasonable with their emotions and fears, but not one of them made the focus all about them. And I know that a pack centers around the Omega, I've read enough of this genre to know that. But it was the way that Sloane (FMC) went about getting her way that really irritated me. Because she's such a huge part of this story .... obviously ... it just wasn't something that I enjoyed. One of the things that I did really like about this particular story was that all of the characters in the pack end up romantically involved with one another. So there are a lot of great group scenes, MM scenes, and MMF scenes. I really only continued reading this one after awhile for those sex scenes alone. So from that standpoint, it was an excellent read. I sure as shit wasn't sticking around for the surprise pregnancy. Ugh. Worst way for a book plot to go.

This book is a hockey romance that centers in the Omegaverse universe complete with non-shifting alpha/beta/omega designations. Sloane has grown up in a loving pack that includes alphas, a beta, and an omega, so she knows what she wants in a pack and is willing to put in the work towards making her own pack from the ground up. And while in this world, it isn't super common to include betas in pack life, it's something that Sloane really wants in hers. She's working as the social media manager for the Foxes, the team her dad coaches for - but she has an ulterior motive. Sloane has her eye on defenseman Bram, who she would like as an alpha in her pack. But he's had his eye on her as well. When they start dating in secret to keep it from her dad, Sloane lets Bram know that she's interested in him but wants to bring more people into their relationship for their pack. Bram agrees, and while it's not something he's entirely comfortable with, he's willing to give it a shot.
While Sloane is dating Bram, she's keeping up with her job as the social media manager and is working to boost the images of the mascot, Ethan, and that of the new guy, Max. She starts to develop feelings for both of them and introduces Ethan to Bram and they ultimately end up liking one another. While trying to navigate what it means to be a pack, Sloane finds out that she is a scent match to Max and things really go from 0 to 100 with the two of them and Bram walks in on them having sex. Unfortunately, they don't really have time to work through their feelings about all of that, because Sloane goes into heat and wants all of her guys. So the guys help her through her first heat all while Bram and Max fight to work through their tumultuous dislike of one another.
Post heat is all about the group trying to navigate the difficulties of pack life with a lot of outside forces continuing to make things even harder. They have to contend with the media trying to skew and dig into their personal lives, a coach who is pissed off that his players are in a relationship with their daughter, and a car crash that really rocks their world. And all of this goes on while their trying to balance their hockey careers and the Bram/Max controversy of having some kind of past.
Making things even more difficult, Sloane finds out that she's pregnant and decides to keep it a secret from her alphas. Ethan knows, but is trying to obey his Omega's wishes and keep it between the two of them.
Eventually, everything works out and the pack gets their HEA. Everyone is excited about the baby, Max and Bram make up and explore their feelings for one another, and Sloane makes up with her dad. But one dramatic situation after another rears its head throughout the book and each of the pack members wonders if they're good enough to be deserving of the love of their newly formed pack.

What drives me the craziest about Sloane is that she expects to be pampered and catered to all the time. She manipulates things to get her way and while her family says that she's stubborn and just knows what she wants, it feels more like her being selfish. The guys are only ever worried about her feelings and how things affect her. And while that is on them and how packs act with Omegas, she never makes sure that they're equally cared and loved for. It feels extremely one sided. And the fact that she doesn't even argue with staying at home and not working, like she just accepts that she's going to be provided for irks me too. You don't want to provide any kind of anything towards your home? Let all that responsibility fall on the guys? That's stressful AF and not really fair. AND all the guys are required to follow her weird cleanliness rules (taking clothes off before getting into bed) in the house and her heat binders with explicit instructions to keep her happy. She even mentions needing to "train them" for how to act in the house when she moves into Bram's house. I just didn't like the character; she rubbed me the wrong way and ultimately made me not like the story.

I would read it again for most of the sex scenes and the chemistry between the guys, but as for anything involving Sloane, I would skip if I reread this. Definitely not making it as one of my favorite Omegaverse books.

this is my first 5 star in what feels like forever and i loved everything about this book so much 😭😭😭

now NORMALLLLLLLYYYYYY i hate playboys/manwhores/the usual athletes fucking everyone…..HOWEVER no one can make me hate Max. (it also helps that he’s never been with an omega 🤪) he was such a sad boi trying to stave off the loneliness with betas and alphas 😭😭😭😭 he didn’t think anyone would love him like they love his brother 😭😭😭😭

that being said there is minimal ow drama!! the only thing is the gossip rag posted an article with Max and a bunch of women before he even met Sloane but he does make sure she knows she’s his only one. A women also tries to flirt with Max before any feelings are brought to light but he’s not interested

and Bram….you handsome idiot. the reason he hates Max was NOT what i was expecting 😂

AND ETHAN how he was ignored by pretty much everyone but Sloane and he was just down to bone everyone 🫢🫢🫢

and last but certainly not least…Sloane! my girl knew what she wanted and did everything she could to make it happen. it’s amazing to see how being brought up in a loving, supportive pack can make her secure enough to follow her heart and i loved her family. She brought these three seemingly very different men together to form her perfect pack and it was everything. AND ALL THE PACK MEMBERS BEING TOGETHER. THE SURPRISE DICK SUCKING 🫦🫦🫦 once ALL the members cleared the air (i’m looking at you Bram 🤨) the trust and bond they had was everything i wanted to read about.

i did receive this as an arc and if i could erase my brain and reread again for the first time i would 😅

sarah, sarah, sarah! you were really trying to dethrone omega’s obsession as my favorite with this one!

the way pack nilsen was formed was so tender and organic (tense and chaotic at times too) we have sloane who grew up seeing the love between her parents pack and knew that’s exactly what she wanted with hers, so of course she got to plotting

3 different men catch her attention, bram: an alpha hockey player who’s she’s been flirting with for a while, who just so happens to not be great a sharing🧍🏾‍♀️, max: another alpha hockey player who’s a bit of a playboy but slowly trying to change his image, and ethan: a sweetie beta who is the team mascot

did i mention that these guys happen to work under sloane’s dad on his hockey team??? whewwww👀

the pack definitely has their work cut out for them, having to sneak around, deal with media, and navigating a developing pack. throw in that two of these guys hate each other, what are we gonna do??

sarah had me going through a whirlwind of emotions with this book! i laughed, i cried (rather ugly i might add, the ending conversation between ethan and his dad just got me😩), i was stressed out, but in the end, everything i felt made for such a wonderful experience reading this book! you guys already know i’m such a sarah stan and i’ll be here waiting for the next release🙂‍↕️

thank you sarah for the arc of this book!🤍

Devoured this in a day - Sarah Blue doesn't miss. Really enjoyed seeing the relationship development in the partners outside of the omega. This is certainly more of a poly than a why choose relationship.

Fuck the matchmaker. I'm making my own fate.

I loved every bit of this contemporary hockey omegaverse romance! It's sweet and spicy, sure to put a smile on your face as it did mine. That's not to say there weren't some emotional moments. I may have shed a tear or two.

It is almost impossible to choose a favorite character. Is it Sloan, the omega who loves everything about her designation and her drive to make her perfect pack?

Or is it Ethan, the sexy AF beta who is sweet and sensitive and not driven by his designation when it comes to loving Sloane? (He very likely takes the win here. I am 100% partial to betas. And Sarah writes them so well.)

Or, perhaps it is Max, the alpha trying to fix his bad boy image, who is lonely and looking for love?

Or... maybe Bram, the VERY jealous alpha who needs to learn to share? In equal parts, I was taken with his behavior and wanted to whack some sense into him.

This is a mixed-burn and very spicy why choose MMMF romance (yes, swords are crossed), where the FMC is 100% behind her guys loving each other. Expect the typical OV goodness of slick, knots, heat, and multiple group scenes.

Part of a series of interconnected standalones, this book ends in a HEA for all.

I love everything Sarah writes! I highly recommend it to OV and hockey romance lovers.

There's just something about a sports omegaverse that brings joy to my cold, dead heart.

Add in a little bid of a forbidden flair, a bit of a rivalry, and some mishaps and we're on the right track.

Main Characters round up:
Sloane - LOVES being an omega and goes after what she wants. She's the coach's daughter and social media handler and is to be OFF LIMITS. But that doesn't stop her from pursuing the defenseman she's had her eye on for ages.
And then the guys (from my fave to least fave):
Ethan - I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the Betas Sarah Blue writes. This one is the team mascot, has a shitty past but a heart of gold and a menace to everyone. He's the omega whisperer and the best.
Max - Something about a sad playboy reformed makes me warm inside. I adore him, his insecurities, and the way he wants to belong SO bad.
Bram - I am conflicted. Sure, he's a noble man, but I WANTED TO SHAKE HIM SO BAD. The way he refused to admit or work through his hangups was annoying. Sure it was in line with his character and pride, but doesn't make it less frustrating.

Storywise, I think the writing could've been more refined and that this was a touch more shallow than I would've liked. I personally would've liked more character depth, relationship development, and so on and so forth. It felt like the auxiliary plots were just floating in the background. I recall confusion as to who was who in the Applegate pack proper, the social media tasks were thrown to the wayside, what did Ethan end up doing at home outside of being a kept Beta? Family dynamics for the Alphas. Outside of Dave, and that Sloane had a pack family, I felt unfulfilled.

Smut wise, don't shoot me, but I think starting off hot and heavy so early didn't help the whole ~forbidden~ storyline. I think there were three scenes before the 30% mark and while that's on brand for OV, I would've enjoyed more tension. Things didn't really pick up for me regarding spice until the locker room scene and then ETHAN AND HAS HANDS. SHOOKETH.

Also I WANT MORE BRAM/MAX SCENES LOL. How did their sexual relationship evolve? Was there ever any bottoming? Curious minds like to know.

Overall, I was entertained but this does not beat out Don't Puck With My Heart.

Sarah Blue is a one-click author for me!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Sarah Blue is my Omegaverse dealer and I’m not ashamed of it.

📕 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Puck Around and Find Out by Sarah Blue

📙 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Pucked Up Omegaverse character series. Book 3.

📗 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: E-book on Kindle. Free on KU.

📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Omegaverse romance

📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Enemies-to-lovers, fated mates, sports romance (hockey), why choose.

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Sloane is looking to build a pack and sets her sights on the broody hockey defensemen - but gets more than she bargained for when she finds a troubled goalie and the sweet mascot as well.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Whenever I need to break a reading slump or I need a mood lift, I dive into Omegaverse romance - and my one-click author is easily becoming Sarah Blue.

She walks the line between sweet and spicy so well, and solidly incorporated great hockey writing as well.

One thing I truly appreciate is how she writes pairings. Every single relationship gets its moment in the sun, as well as the pack as a whole, so you feel super attached by the end of it.

This whole series has been legit… just waiting patiently for her next release so I can gobble that one up too.

If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s Sarah Blue’s omegaverse books. I was so excited for this book after she teased it at the end of Don’t Puck with My Heart. Coach’s daughter? Yes please! This was such an enjoyable read. Sloane has made a deal with her father. She gets to keep her social media job, but has to start seeing the matchmaker in return. When Sloane sets her mind to something, she gets it. And what she wants is to build her own pack. And that starts with Bram. Oh grumpy Bram. He can hold on to a grudge like no other. And unfortunately that grudge is against Max who has no clue what he even did. And then add in Ethan, the sweet beta and you’ve got quite the pack. They have quite a few things they have to work through, but I enjoyed the journey.

“Fuck the matchmaker. I'm making my own fate.”

I just realized that One Pucked Up Pack was the first book I read as part of Sarah's ARC team, and now I’m wrapping up this amazing journey by alpha reading PA&FO 🥹 Yes, I’m feeling emotional right now. Thank you, Sarah Blue 💚

Sloane Applegate has always dreamed of finding her perfect pack. Growing up in a pack where everyone was lovers, she envisioned that same future for herself. With her first heat approaching, she's determined to start building her ideal pack, beginning with a certain brooding defenseman—much to the dismay of her father, the New Haven Foxes' coach, who has made it very clear he doesn't want her involved with his players.

He's the defenseman. If you read Don't Puck With My Heart you already know something was brewing between Bram Nilsen and Sloane. Bram is an Alpha, a defenseman for the Foxes, and very much smitten with Sloane. There's only one problem: he isn't very fond of sharing. Well, except when it comes to the Foxes' Mascot, Ethan.

Ethan Heart, aka Finnegan the Fox, is getting Sloane's help to improve his image—or rather, Finnegan's. As a Beta, he's intrigued by Sloane, but doesn’t believe he’s good enough for her. Oh, sweet Ethan! And to complicate things further, he's not coming alone. When Ethan learns that Max Connery could use some help with his image, he suggests that Sloane help him too.

Max, who we know as Owen's brother, is the new goalie. He's struggling to adjust to the team, especially since Bram seems to hate him for reasons unknown. Despite this, he quickly grows close to Ethan and Sloane. But with both of them being involved with Bram, things get even more complicated. Cue the draaaama!

I’ve said it before, but this series couldn’t have ended in a better way. I absolutely loved this book, even more the second time around. The dynamic Sarah created was so refreshing. Sloane has officially established herself as my favorite FMC in the series. I just love how much she loves being an Omega and how unrelenting she is. Her quest to find her perfect pack was fun, but also packed with all the drama you'd expect from this series.

Be ready to fall head over heels for these guys. She definitely saved the best for last (sorry, Alexi), but Bram, Max, and Ethan were perfect. I loved how well they complement Sloane and each other. They gave me so many reasons to love them more with every page I read. Oh, and if you love Sarah's Betas like I do, you’re in for a treat with Ethan—trust me! I think he's the best Beta she's ever written.

And before I forget, as a huge fan of the pregnancy trope, I loved how everything played out! It just made me love this trope even more!

The end of a series is always bittersweet. It’s so satisfying to see characters from previous books living out their HEA and dive into a new story we've been eagerly waiting for. But it’s also a little sad to say goodbye to the world we've come to love. That epilogue was truly a gift 🥹🩵

Puck Around and Find Out is the third and final installment in the Pucked Up Omegaverse series. It can be read as a standalone, but I really recommend you to read the previous books!

What to expect:
🏒Coach's daughter
🦊Build your own pack
🏒Accidental pregnancy
🦊MFMM
🏒Scent matches
🦊Alpha drama (!!!)
🏒Omega self-love
🦊Hot Beta mascot 🙏🏻

“I'm not a go with the flow Omega, as much as I may try to be.
When things are organized, life runs smoother, and as of late, it feels like everything is out of my control.”

Sloane is an omega, coach’s daughter, and the teams social media manager for the hockey team New Haven Foxes.

While her dad has a rule of no going after hockey players, the omega wants what the omega wants. Shes got everything planned out. Or so she thinks.
Sloane wants to create her own pack instead of trying to find rare scent matches. It’s her time. And she’ll do anything to plan it all out.

She’s got her eyes on Bram. An Alpha. Teams defenseman. Protective. Broody.

Then we have Ethan. A hot tattooed Beta and the teams mascot. The glue that kept this family together. Level headed.

Max. An Alpha. Teams newest goalie and doing what he can to clean his reputation up. A bit insecure and feels out of place sometimes, but he’s got a good heart.

Did I mention Sloane wants all of them and Max and Bram are enemies??

Sloane, ever the organizer is going crazy with keeping secrets from her family and getting her dream men to work as a pack. It’s not easy. But she’s willing to fight for it. And these men will do anything to keep her too.

This is light on the hockey trope and heavy on the character growth and building a pack from scratch.

It’s Omega/Beta/Alpha/Alpha.
Sword crossing, Fisting, Heat, Knotting, Nesting and all the slick… and a surprise pregnancy. The sweet HEA. We see all the characters from the series come full circle and what end ending into this omegaverse.

Let me start off by saying that one of the triggers Sarah warned us about was the pregnancy trope. Not a fan of this trope, but I've loved how she introduced it and carried out through the book.

I have loved reading about Charlotte and Piper in the first two books, but Sloane is just something else. She's wonderful, precise and caring enough to consider the feeling of everyone that's involved in the pack. Her pursuing and consequent relationship with Bram was beautiful, I love a stubborn Alpha who's actually a sweetheart. His arc is wonderful and I've enjoyed reading it even more than reading Mikail's. And you got me there for a moment, Sarah, after the car accident. I'm till not okay for those few pages ....

It's the first time I've read a book about a pack who's fully romantically and phisically committed to each other and I've loved every minute of it. Probably the best out of all three books set in the same universe. Now I actually need books about the kids!

Sarah never lets me down. I've read someone here who wrote that Sarah could write Tamlin's redemption arc and give it 5 stars, and I'm not sure she's wrong.

Thank you Sarah Blue and PA Valerie for the opportunity to read this book! Being part of your arc team is always a pleasurable experience

I adore this whole series (and honestly every single Omegaverse Sara writes, honestly).

This one had me all in my feels. I was nail biting along with Sloane while simultaneously wanting to knock some sense into her.

I loved the dynamic with each of the guys in the pack, but I especially loved Ethan. He’s so kind and his playfulness was just what was needed.

Per usual, a shining star for me was a side character. Ethan’s dad, Dave, was a freaking riot.

Listen, Sarah can do no wrong in my book. Every single thing she’s written has been a hit for me, and Puck Around and Find Out was no different. If she writes it ,I’m going to read it and fall in love with the characters: drool over her MMCs, root for the FMCs to get just what they want, 🥵 during those spicy scenes, and ultimately end up in a slump waiting (im)patiently waiting for the next book to drop.

Ridiculous Omegaverse Hockey Mashup

Absolutely insane, and maybe in an average way. The first book in this series was absolutely the best, and I’d recommend everyone just stopping there. Sarah Blue still takes the full banana. For that, she has my respect and continued readership.

✔️ Triple POVs (Bram, Max, Ethan x Sloane)
✔️ Set in god-knows-where, it’s not important
✔️ Open-door contemporary omegaverse romance (5/5 🌶️)
✔️ Tropes: Omegaverse romance; hockey romance; poly, MMMF romance

Things I love:

- Sarah Blue's smut scenes. Thankful to the old and new gods for her imagination. When you want spice you go to Sarah. And Omegaverse Sarah? Yes. 1,000,000x yes. The heat scenes were top tier.
- When my boyfriends are boyfriends with my boyfriends and my other boyfriends. From now on I only want Omegaverse where my two alphas boyfriends are in a sexual relationship with one another and when those two alpha boyfriends are also in a sexual relationship with my beta boyfriend. All while I'm at the center of the love nest. So many potentials when everyone loves each other.
- Fated / Scent mates and the sweetest men. These men were precious. So loyal, so giving, so fun, so sweet, so caring. I love them. I just love Omegaverse for the bonding of it all.

I PA&FO was a fun, relatively low stakes, quick read sports romance omegaverse. Sweet and spicy with a bit of plot. We had coaches daughter, rivals to lovers, found family, A/A/B/O, some knotting, a lot of miscommunication and... dun dun dun... accidental pregnancy. I actually didn't mind the pregnancy too much, when I normally despise that, but I thought it brought the group together cohesively. I did not like the miscommunication that ensued due to the pregnancy, but alas we needed conflict somewhere. While this wasn't an earth shattering read, it was enjoyable, quick, and super sexy! Highly recommend everything Sarah writes.

Sloane is the kind of Omega I never knew I needed. It’s refreshing to grab about one that loves her designation and is willing to do whatever for her Pack. She had such a unique start to her relationships and some rough moments that I was so not expecting like omg but it all works out and trust me… Sloane and her men - a pack like no other.
Ethan is my baby boy, I would trust him with my cats so just know he is THAT good and amazing. Max is my kind of reformed b boy and he delivers, greatly. Bram is my kind of big boy that’s grumpy and serious but you know he has the best intentions.

Ahh! I have loved this series. And this one is probably my favorite of the series. It just checks so many of my boxes. A strong FMC, an adorable beta, a full pack of lovers, an accidental pregnancy, and so many more! Being on Sarah Blue's ARC has seriously been the highlight of my year! She just keeps rolling out the most delicious books!

》 As the daughter of the lead coach of the Foxes Hockey Team, Sloane, knew she wanted to fill her pack with handsome hockey players. Keeping to her plan she puts herself in any situation she can to get a closer look at the team. What she wasn't expecting was to find two alphas in that team and an adorable beta! But being in the public eye definitely has its challenges!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE a full pack of lovers! Each of them shared such sweet relationships with each other. It was so sweet to watch this pack unfold. Even with its challenges they became such a tight unit. Now welcoming an adorable addition to their pack!

Sloane was such a strong omega. I loved her headstrong and playful behavior! She was exactly the omega this pack needed. She boosted Ethan's confidence! She kept Bram busy with her bratty stubbornness. And she loved Max so hard making sure he knew just how accepted he was into this pack even with the differences he had with Bram!

“𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒂 𝒈𝒓𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.”
“𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒕.”

This pack was perfectly balanced! I had so much fun watching Sloane form the pack of her dreams!

Genre: omegaverse romance
Tropes: MMMF why choose, scent matches, build your own pack, coach’s daughter, NHL, beta mascot, enemies to lovers, accidental pregnancy.
Rating: 4.5✨

I don’t really have much to say about this book if not that it lived up to my expectations. Sure, it didn’t surpass “Don’t Puck With My Heart”, but I didn’t think it would because that book is pure perfection. I said what I said.

Something about Max just did it for me. He was absolutely my favorite in this pack, while Ethan was a very close second.

The scene at the hospital with Ethan and his dad made me tear up so bad, it’s probably my favorite moment of all the book, maybe even from the entire series.

I would have liked to see a little bit more about the pack’s dynamics like for example how Bram and Max‘s relationship evolves or if Sloane returns doing what she did with the hockey team’s social media, and that’s why it’s not a full 5 star read for me.

Sarah Blue is one of my favorite authors. Everything she writes, I like. She has the ability to write why choose stories with mm in it that don’t bother me in the slightest, it actually makes me feel giddy, which is something that I only felt with a very few books with polyamorous relationships and most of them are her books.

P.s. I’m seriously grieving the fact that we won’t see Piper, Owen and Alexi anymore. I’m really excited to see what Sarah has set in store for us, but they are literally my comfort pack and I could never get tired of reading about them, even if it is for small appearances like we had in this book.

Thank you so much Sarah for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

This eARC literally dropped into my kindle YESTERDAY and I gobbled it up immediately. I was in a major reading slump and now I’m not; I’m cured by Sarah’s writing once again!

Puck Around and Find Out is the third and final book in the Pucked Up omegaverse series. It was the PERFECT finale for the series. The omega, Sloane, is determined to create the perfect pack for herself, despite any obstacles in her way. I adored her attitude and her sassy attitude. Her banter with the guys had me stifling my middle of the night cackles. In true Sarah Blue fashion, the humor in this book was absolutely perfect with little nods to pop culture references (without being obnoxious). It was the perfect mix of unhinged and sweet, while also having very serious topics handled expertly. I’m so sad the series is over but my heart is so full of love for these characters and their story!

If you’re new to omegaverse and love a sweet, sports romance then this is the series for you! However, unless you want spoilers for the previous books in the series, I recommend reading in order: One Pucked Up Pack, Don’t Pucked With My Heart, then Puck Around And Find Out.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
•Omegaverse
•Why choose (MFMM)
•Forbidden romance
•Hockey romance
•Sweet romance
•Surprise pregnancy
•Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was cute! Sarah Blue always comes up with such fun and chaotic characters in these books, and the tension we saw between some of our characters over the course of this series finally came to a head and it was fun!!!

Unlike the others, though, I felt like this book, as a whole, was slightly more surface level?? That’s not a bad thing at all, it just wasn’t what I was used to from this series (based on the first two books) and so for me it was a bit of a letdown. I didn’t get the heart and connection and genuine like … idk how to describe it … love? Understanding? Something? I think it was something about our Omega?? Idk I just didn’t get that like YESSSS I got like I did previously.

I don’t know how to describe it all I know is I absolutely freaking ADORED our Beta, and I thought this was cute, but it was probably my least favorite of the bunch.

AND OUR LIL MASCOT BETA BABY ETHAN. I will shout about him forever and always.

But yes!! This series!! As a whole!! SO FUN DO ANOTHER SPORT SARAH PLEASE.

I’m just so happy for all of these happy little New Haven packs who have everything they ever wanted! This one is just as good as the first two (though I think I lean slightly towards Pack Hodges as my favorite). There’s no doubt… this was definitely a Sarah book (smut, complex emotions, multiple POV, HEAs) and I’m here for it. Basically, I know exactly what I’m getting into when I read a Sarah omegaverse book and I’m not mad about it.
