About the author

Sarah is a Northeast Florida native, a mom of two young sons, and has been telling stories since before she could write. It was no surprise that she decided she wanted to pursue writing for a living.

Sarah was a founding member and the first editor-in-chief of the University of North Florida's literary journal Fiction Fix. After an extended maternity leave, Sarah returned to Fiction Fix as a reader and copy editor. (Check it out – it's free!)

In addition to Fiction Fix, Sarah edits freelance, posts a weekly blog, writes fiction like crazy. Her first children's book, Hero, is a collaboration with her six-year-old son Peter.

I received this book from the goodreads first reads program.
I was a cute story that reminded me of stories I have written with the help of my own children. My four year old really like the names "Mr. Fluffypants" and "Sir Barks-a-lot".
