My alpha mate rejected me and threw me to rogues. Then I was saved by an Alpha King. Now, he wants me to give him a pup.
Alpha Zaid was everything I ever wanted - powerful, possessive, and sexy. I thought we were perfect mates- Until I find out he’s supposed to marry another woman. Now, I’m degraded to being a surrogate.
She’s beautiful and perfect, but Zaid swears that he wants me instead.
Can I trust him? Or is he just using me to get what he wants?
Falling for an Alpha King wasn't in my plans, but now I have to do I protect myself, and my unborn child, or do I fight for a future family with Zaid as my mate?
this story is a rejected mate pregnancy romance featuring lots of angst & spice. HEA, no cheating. Intended for a mature audience.
I absolutely love the flow and emotion this story brings. Having an insight to multiple different characters is so nice. I could hardly put this one down.
Why do I keep reading these books? There are so many things that I can't stand with most wolf shifter books, and yet I keep reading them. The first three books in this series of 55 (yes, you read that correctly, 55) were actually really good, and I enjoyed them. I was hoping that subsequent books would take place in the same world by the same author, but no. We get stuck with more books like this one.
First off, there were so many misspelled words. There needed to be an editor, or at least a good proofreader for this. How do so many slip by?
I hate the super fast timeline of everything. They were together, at most, for 2 weeks. How are they able to test for pregnancy so soon? They wouldn't be, unless this is some magical wolf thing. If it is, tell us!
As I have mentioned in previous reviews by this author, there are wayyy too many POVs. Many of them aren't even needed, either. They serve no purpose, and only bloat out the book to be larger than necessary. This book was already too long with nothing much going on. No need to add more to it.
This book needs to be reviewed for consistency: wasn't the previous king and queen Leo and Marissa? Later, they were Julius and Ashlynne? Nobody caught that, either?
OK, I am going to rant about another thing that I just hate with wolf shifter books. Supposedly, these are people who can shift into wolves. Usually, they don't shift until around puberty time-ish. So why, in the name of all that is holy, do they call their children pups? They are just babies! They are not wolves and cannot shift into wolves, so don't call them that! OMG, it is so annoying!!!
I keep reading these books, even though the writing is not great, there is little to no backstory to anyone unless it furthers the story, and the emotional connection between characters can't be felt. The only reason I know it is there is because the author said so. I couldn't feel anything.
I will probably keep going in the series, as I appear to be a glutton for punishment. Maybe I will get better results from one of the other authors. I can keep hoping. But so far in this 55 book series along, I have had 3 good ones out of 11. Not a great record.
The Alpha Prince finds her in No Man's Land severely beaten, starved and rejected by a cruel alpha and pack. They think she is an Omega Runt but turns out to be a Saintes that comes into her powers and a late shift and becomes the Luna Queen.
This is book eleven and features a young alpha Zaid Nightshade. He is the trying to make his pack better and weed out the insidious enemies but it is proving to be difficult. Zaid is working with his Uncle Nox, also an Alpha of a different pack, to reach out to other packs to form alliances. Zaid decides he needs a break and heads to the cabin for a couple of weeks. One day he smells blood and follows the scent. What he finds is a female omega rut badly beaten. Zaid is upset and cannot believe that a pack or wolf would allow this treatment of an omega because they should be valued. Trigger warnings here for both verbal and physical abuse. Some of it happens on page, like with our lead female Avery, and other abuses are described as part of the history of characters. Zaid takes Avery back to the cabin to see if he could help her. This begins the journey of their intertwined lives. There is a happy ending. Read On!
Avery is an orphaned omega, doing the best she can, despite being mistreated by the pack, mainly the Alpha. She has just turned 18 and ready to sneak away. While she is doing chores and biding her time, she hears what she’s always wanted, but not out of the mouth she expected. Rejected and beaten badly, she is tossed out into an area where she is sure to either die from the elements or be taken by a rogue. Zaid finds a badly beaten woman, so small it’s hard to tell her age. He finds he must try to help her. This book is really great, the interactions between characters is realistic and the descriptions of the locations is really specific and paints a wonderfully vivid picture. Definitely worth the read, grab it and tell your friends!
I am reviewing all the Alpha Rejected mates, and so far, this is one of the few that earned five stars. The story was engaging, filled with many twists and turns, and the spice added a nice touch. I read this all at once; I simply couldn't stop reading. Storyline: 📙📙📙📙📙 Intimacy Level: 🍒🍒🍒 HEA: Yes Overall View: ✨✨✨✨✨
I wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about this book. Right off the bat I was crying for poor Avery the MFC. She belongs part of a pack that threats her horribly and the Alpha treats her like a slave and his whipping girl. He is Satan incarnate. Because he is the alpha everyone obeys him and treats Avery the same horrible way. So she has no friends and has to just endure everything they do to her. It is just heartbreaking. Unfortunately when she turns of age her mate happens to be the Alpha who rejects her. This book is full of action, angst, excitement and lots of suspense. At times I cried and at times I felt jittery with anticipation. The sex scenes are SAF. WOW! This is my first book by this author, she has an easy writing style I enjoyed so much. There are surprises around every corner and as things started to be revealed it's like WHAT?! Lol. I loved every minute of it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE.
Für eben Zwischendurch ist es in Ordnung. Der Schreibstil kommt bei weitem nicht an "richtige" Romane ran. Die Story hat einen roten Faden, aber es ist irgendwie leider eher auf unterem Wattpad-Niveau.
