I'm not on social media so the author is not familiar to me.
I chose Easy Everyday because I'm looking for easy, simple recipes to update my meal routine.
This was better than I expected; there are a lot of recipes I'd like to try, beautiful photos, and each dish is straightforward and not difficult to make.
An ideal book if you're cooking for more than two, family or entertaining family and friends but don't want to stress out on what to make.
This is a wonderful cookbook. The recipes are quick; the cooking times are accurate and there are photos for pretty much every recipe. I liked the soft egg bites for breakfast; lunch was a solid chapter, with the farro and tuna salad and chicken salad being my faves. For dinner, the shrimp/sun-dried tomato and artichoke sheet pan dinner was everything. I also like her caramel and mini-pretzel cookie, and the myer lemon pudding cake is one of those things that doesn't look like much, but when people start to eat it, they love it. The flavor is very bright.
So, the downsides? The book starts with some dressings and sauces - which are all good. But some of the recipes really need them, so it's an extra thing to cook (in most cases - in some you might be able to sub a store bought dressing). And there's no nutritional information.
If you cook for a group/family on a regular basis, you've got to check this out. The recipes are really fresh, a little different, and easy to put together.
Good cookbook with a little from every category. Focuses on dressings that can be used as the flavor bases for many recipes. Some recipes are a little bland and need more than a pinch of salt. Regardless, I've found some favorites that have gone into my regular rotation: banana zucchini muffins, fancy puff pastry quiche, caprese cottage cheese toast, fire roasted lentil soup, weeknight white pizza, and green chili chilled queso.
A basic cookbook by a popular blogger. The recipes are simple and require a minimum of ingredients. Photos accompany recipes. A good cookbook for a novice cook or one who doesn’t want to spend time on cooking.
Beautiful food photography and easy to follow layout of recipes. Found only 4 recipes I felt would fit into my families tastes. Found the intro information and meal planning tips helpful. Glad to have borrowed from my library but not one that I will be adding to my collection.
This is one of my most favorite cookbook authors and my most frequent go-to for delicious recipes. I got this for Christmas from my sister and loved reading through it. Lots of yummy things to make! I love it!
