That was a good end to the trilogy! There were a couple spots near the beginning that I found to drag. It did pick up around halfway through.
I've really enjoyed watching Ellie and Thane grow into themselves outside of their families and the feud. They both faced their fears and did what they had to do to earn their freedom, while at the same time protecting their families.
There were plenty of surprising moments in Curse. I don't think I guessed at any of them too far in advance of the actual reveal. It was only a page or two ahead that I started thinking about the possibilities. I appreciated that the ending wasn't a sudden "Everything is fixed!" type of moment. The main problem facing Ellie and Thane was fixed but there's still work for their families to do. It wasn't just magically solved.
This is the third series I've read by Lynnie Purcell and I want to read more of them. She does an amazing job in her storylines and how she writes just draws me in. I definitely recommend the series!
