Uses a lot of "inside" railroad terminology that's not completely obvious to a novice. Takes about halfway through the book to see some of the words in context enough times to realize what they're talking about. Other than that, having ridden the GSMR, I found this to be fascinating and would love to ride again someday, book in hand, following the mileposts.
